Hey guys, I'm looking for a way to get MMS working on my dinc on metropcs. There is MetrOFF for the eris and MetroDroid for the evo, but I can't find something similar to this for the Incredible. Everything else is working just fine, I only need mms. If something like that doesn't exist (a .zip/ROM i can flash) then could someone point me in the right direction and show me where I could find help? I debated if this was Q/A or development, but I think this fits my problem better

Have you tried THISthread. It will work for your phone as well.
Yes I did, it just kept saying 'Sending' without nothing changing.
you need to do this http://metropcsflash.blogspot.com/2011/04/htc-droid-incredible-deoxed-metropcs.html.
if you need more help you need to do this to fix your internet and picture message problems let me know. also do you have web working?
Yeah, I have calling, texting, and web working just fine. All I need is picture messaging. Any idea what part of that guide I should start at for MMS?

i understand its an issue. dont bash me. however, i saw in some thread somewhere that someone got gps to work on it and i lost the location.
Ok, so I'm a bit new here and I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I'm gonna give it a shot anyways.
Well, I flashed it last night with the EE03 modem and I really do like it so far.
The only problem is that I can't send picture messages. The thing just hangs there.
Anybody here running this ROM running into this issue?
im running it, i havent had that problem, the only problem ive had is not being able to have an integrated facebook contact account.
This is my first post on this forum, but I have been laying low for awhile now. I was running Sinister RLV5 for the past week or so, after switching from MIUI. Well, as of this morning, I was unable to send or receive picturemail. It kept popping up with an error message saying, 'Message Not Sent After Multiple Failed Attempts'. And the reasoning was a 'Generic System Failure'.
So, fast forward to this afternoon. I figured that maybe, it was the ROM I was running. So, I wiped everything, and flashed KingsAlliance 6.1. And I'm getting the exact same results. Does anyone have any idea as to why it's doing this? I'm getting rather annoyed with it. Also, would I be able to call into Sprint, and have tech support run me through some of their BS. Of course, I would not let them know I was rooted. Any help is GREATLY appreciated. Thank in advance!
did you wipe everything down to stock?

Yup. Nandroid then wiped. It was working fine on the old rom, and then it quit working on the old rom. Just out of nowhere it stopped working.
When I open my settings for MMS, all the connection settings are blank. And I have the option of WAP 1.2 or WAP 2.0. Neither one was checked and the MMSC/MMS Proxy/MMS Port/MMS Protocol were also blank.
Mother effer....it did it again
ok I'm using t899 note 2 on att network. I'm on cyanogenmod. I can't seem to send mms to anyone. It just sits there sending........... It really pissing me off. this also happen when I was on a stock rom. So what is going on? I search the forums and there seems to be alot of different answers that are not conclusive. Has anyone go through this before me? please someone direct me towards fixing this. I'm sorry but I'm just really pissed off right now. this been going on for couple days now.
did you change the apn settings to att?
Heyoh.
Im in the midst of porting the 10N update to AT&T -- a seemingly easy task -- but Im facing an issue that Im having trouble with, so I thought I'd ask here.
I have everything ported over fine (qi to pma, nfc, apns, everything) except for the dialer. I can place and receive calls fine, but I have no mic and no ear speaker (no speakerphone either). I thought it just may be an ril lib issue but nar... I've replaced all the (what I think are) necessary files over from a working copy (all telephony related apks) but still no speaker/mic.
Anyone have any insight to this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks in advance!

You need to replace system\etc\acdbdata folder as well
Hah. I should have updated this thread! I actually already found that out by digging around logcat! Thanks for the reply though!!
No freaking way. I had this issue running CloudyG3 on my Sprint G3.
And so today I go poking around in my old posts, out of boredom not seeking an answer to this problem. Decide to look at my started by. Which led me to Zio posts where I found all my OG Android buddies. I pull up Spz0s started by. I have my phone unlocked and still get a dialer crash on stock rom after end call.
Good to know you got a flagship man. These are a step up from the last phones we shared. 4+ years ago. LoL.
