The other day I dropped my phone in some bushes face down. When I recovered it, it was hot from sun exposure. It was hot enough that CPU tuner entered extreme powersaver for the battery hot trigger. Now my display has this strange tealish cyan color where light colors, especially white, should be. It makes everything look screwed up. Otherwise, the phone works perfectly. I reflashed cm twice, however, even the screen with HTC in the center that shows before the cm splash screen on boot is all teal-ish. So I don't think its the rom. Any ideas? This is reply obnoxious.

Yeah just looked again not much help though. One guy sent sent his phone to HTC but I'd like to try and fix it myself and I can't go two weeks with no phone. Im just looking for opinions as to whether or not it is an LCD screen issue or a cable issue etc. If its one of those, I'll just fix it myself.

I have a tmobile g2 that was dropped from about 3 ft, the screen had to be replaced, but now the accelerometer, proximity sensor, and light sensor do not work at all. I've tried wiping, factory data reset, and even dismantled it to see any obvious damage..and there's none. I'm on cm6.1 now and have used the stock rom also. Any suggestions???

Try going to cyanogenmod settings--user interface--automatic backlight--use custom--edit other levels
Then look at the raw value at the top of the screen and see if you can make it change by putting it under different lighting.

If T-Mobile replaced the screen on the phone, why not inform them of all these problems so they replace the phone completely?
I had the screen replaced by a repair shop...good idea I'll chk the cm settings...does anyone know where the accelerometer is in the phone? I don't see how it could be damaged and it not be obvious when I look inside of the phone.

I checked in cm settings-ui-auto backlight-edit and the raw values at the raw values don't change with the light conditions..is that most likely hardware or software related?

The level shows at -1

Im looking for someone to help me pull a picture from you do the 2.3 RRU install.
It has a black background, and says HTC in white with a gradient.
Odd request I know, I've got a few recreations but there just not high enough quality imo.

You could root it and install a screenshot app.
Impossible, The phone is being wiped and reloaded with a rom, Sorta like in recovery so can't even do that, I'm guessing the image is tucked away deep down in the rru

Uh oh. My replacement HOX (first one replaced due to WIFI fault) has started to flash when opening or refreshing apps.
So far I have only noticed it when doing the first refresh on the official Twitter app and on opening the xda app!
Is this a software/programming issue or is it another hardware fault?
What are other people's experiences?

Correct. At the moment I can't reproduce the problem consistently but I will try to keep this thread updated with what I find.

PS Can a mod please verify my account to remove the 5 minute rule? Ta.
I had a similar problem when using the camera app. I was walking down the street and pulled my phone out to snap a picture and as I was getting ready to take a picture I noticed the screen kept flickering. Only happened once thought

That sounds like the screen corruption issue. Was 99% fixed in 1.28 and completely gone in 1.29. What software are you on?
Running 1.29.206.11 and the updater doesn't say there are any updayes available. Since I first posted I have ve only noticed once. So maybe it is a random glitch that I lucky to have noticed

you screen is back to flash? I since I have it never happened
I've noticed this as well, in 1.29.401.11. Seems to just be displaying some uninitialized data for a frame until the texture/etc. is fully uploaded... has yet to cause any problems, but it seems to just be annoying?
Hi guys,
Anyone having issues with screen turning off "blacked out" but the device is still working?
I can still unlock my phone, raise and decrease volume. But screen is off...
Is this problem similar to the initial stages of releases from htc where an overheating core shuts off the screen?
And the only way around it is to hold the power for 10s to restart?

Yes, there are quite a few forums of that around here
one for starters : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1859339
search and you shall find more
Went through that before, but the problem occurred after switching to custom rom.
Didn't have this problem pre root and post root

Alright guys, I have a bit of a problem here. So I own the international HOX. I'm running stock ROM with the s2w kernel. The problem isn't with the kernel that was happening to me also on faux kernel and ncx.... So I was just playing pokemons on My Boy emulator and e just went dead like someone pulled the battery. This happens really often when I am gaming and when that happens my battery drops to 0%. Can somebody help me I'm desperate I can't use my phone in full and I paid him that much that he must get legs and dance if I told him to :silly:
This is the ss, I can give some logs just tell me how

you can turn on fast boot option which will save the phone's state like hibernating on windows, other than that, don't let the charge drop down to 0
Fastboot was on when this happen but that happens to me when the fastboot is off and on so that doesn't have to do anything with this. Please help my I am desperate
