[Q] savaged-zen???

I have spent some time looking for an answer. to no avail....
Can someone please tell me or point to the thread... Someone please tell me what has happend to Savaged-zen and all of his Rom goodness... Has he moved on?

His website is still up, but nothing has been updated in months

I don't know if any of them have EVO 4Gs anymore; the development has sorta split up because they have different phones

I've seen replays in the kernel thread that they r working on a 3.0 release of the kernel but from what I've heard mist of them have moved onto other phones. To bad cause the kernel was incredible. I never used the rom. No eta on the updated kernel as of yet either

I tried going to their forums just the other day but all of the links I tried are no longer writing ): I was looking forward to downloading their latest stable rom as well as kernel, but no dice ): can anyone help me out?? I loved their rom but I wiped my computer and didn't back anything up because I couldn't. Someone help me out please lol

Agreed I was trying to get the latest rom. And the forum and mirror were down. I flashed it before and loved the rom kernal combo. But had a GPS issue that I could not figure out. But now that I fixed that I wanted to go back to it. If anyone has the rom/kernal please share.....

Rom suggestions

I just rooted my wife's phone for her. only reason being she wants it to run smooth again. recently has been freezing up allot and just acting funky. I want to remove Bloat and install v6 supercharger and some other tweaks to help it run smoother. anyone have any suggestions for a smooth, easy to use, stable Rom. That I might be able to convince her to try out for a bit. Generally I wasn't planning on flashing any custom roms for her unless something easy is out there. I am an chronic EVO flasher and she does not understand.

Since it is her phone and I am sure you love peace in your household, you may want something basic like the EC05plus ROM or ReRFS.

The v6 script is a trickier mod on a stockish rom. I swear by the latest sfr. Flash it twice. Be sure to flash a kernel also. In your case I'd recommend the ec05 plus kernel- nice and plain with no oc. Don't forget the hotspots hack. No sfr user should go without that freebee.

The first one requires Odin so back up first and then you can restore the data back. (of course ALWAYS back up a wife's phone first before doing ANYTHING!)----Great Advice!

Do not give her a GingerBread leak rom. My biggest recommendation.
My EC05 Froyo rom has the latest features like 6 Lockscreen mod and the free hotspot mod. You can try it here. If you don't need anything fancy, go with stockish as recommended by kenny.

Thanks for the links and suggestions.. one other question i found MIUI on this forum i was running that on my EVO for a while. She seemed to enjoy it anyone have any experience with it for the Epic

Ha, when I first rooted and put on Bonsai and showed my GF the Quadrant score and then showed her the stock score on hers, she simply handed me her Epic and said "do it"!

reloaded runs fine on the epic, but you won't have 4g, and Bluetooth is sorta messed up

New To The Gnex Help wanted

Hi , Just left my HTC Sensation for this Bad boy
I Need Help with going about Rooting and updating i would like to Keep Nexus Pure, no Cyanogenmods , my Nexus is currently on ICS 4.0.1 with the update in the status bar, I havent yet updated but wanted to know does the root stick when updating also.

[Q] ICS please help

There is a link that dose not work , you clk on it to download ICS and i get a server not forund..
I have an htc evo 4g 36000
IM looking for ICS with out being rooted , ill root it later on...
thank you for the help, you all have a great website keep up the good work and fix some links lol...

All roms here require u to be rooted for ics. Evo never got an ota ics update.

well im rooted and i have recovery on it to do the frash installs i put muiu on and tryed a few others but dont like them..
so is there a way we can find ics for the evo and being the evo still has a 4.5 star rating it funny that they did not come out with a ics for it.

did they ever come out with jb for evo?? do u think ics will work fine for it?? you all know better them me i just love the phone it a bad ass phone.. lol

Slow down tiger, We have a large abundance of ICS and JB roms available to everyone. Go into the evo 4g development section and look for some. For a nice organized catalog of all roms, check out the roms and kernel list in the stickies and find something you like.
Ics is almost fully working anyway. Minus 4G, FFC and some choppy video recording, its quite interesting. Best of luck to you!

Not to mention the extra lag on JB. I've heard that it settles after a few days, but I'm not patient enough.

how is this one Energy_7.4.2012.EVO4G i have it on AND I SEEM TO LOVE IT sorry for caps all there are some errors in the personalizing your back ground with the pictures or the live htc wall papers, u cant see them in in panel you can only see them in grid.. can anyone tell me if there is any other problems with the rom??? can anyone tell me if there is isues with the camra or any thing elce??

We don't do opinions on specific roms so that's not allowed. Try them for yourself and form ur own opinion.

The issues with ICS and JB are similar. No 4G/FFC and maybe some I am not aware of. Although there is 4G where I live, it's spotty and horrendous and I have moved to ICS as JB is still pretty laggy.

What is the most stable ROM? I got a new phone and gave my e4g to my daughter. She is 10. She will not be using it as a phone or 3g. She lost her iPod touch. We have WiFi and she has a Google account so its perfect for her. It was on the latest cm10.1 nightly. She doesn't need or care about the latest version of android. I am just wanting opinions on what is the most stable best battery ROM out there for her. Please and thank you.

WTH , you are from Galaxy S III and talking sh1t in Epic 4G forum... That's a ROM nonexistent here When can forum gurus stop random people coming in here...
Anyway about the stable ROM query, I think you can go with stock FC09 or The People's ROM (never tried this but seems everyone around likes it). All in the dev section

As far as a stable ROM that jus works I would recommend The Peoples ROM or CM7 but the Peoples ROM seems to be the best gingerbread ROM around
