I bought a bag for my Xoom from Amazon, and it works great. The xoom fits almost perfectly, even though the bag is made for an iPad. The build quality is great, and it feels like a quality product. Just thought I'd share

wow, i like the looks of this thanks
I ordered the black one a few weeks ago for when I travel for work. It houses my xoom, DX, and EVO with no issues. Going through security at airports was pleasant. I took the xoom out but few the charger, standard dock, both phones and chargers for phones in the case and had no issues. The xoom and this case was much more portable and lighter than the crappy dell laptop work has graciously given me.
This is well worth the price.

With a bit of Dremel work, you can cut out a portion of the bottom for the ports, and hey presto - you get an $11 stand. It was on sale this morning for $3.50 (with free shipping), but sadly they expired that coupon before i could post it here.
Only downside is having to reach behind the xoom to turn it on.
I've got this one coming with my Wifi Xoom... great reviews and price

Thanks, guys! Both are wonderful choices... Now, which to choose?
I got this same one last week and really lke it.
Very portable, works great, folds up to a nice size and it fits great in my Xoom case.
I picked it up at BB, it's an Incase Nylon Sling Sleeve for MacBook Pro 13". I like that it has room for not only my Xoom, but also the keyboard, a few cables, and even a few file folders. It has handles that tuck away if you want to, as well as a nice padded shoulder strap. Just got it yesterday, but I think it will work out great!
Now tied in with Sugarsync and the new Quickoffice Pro HD, I have ALL my work files everywhere I go!
How much was it looks great
Great job. You took all the right pictures. Incase makes fantastic products. Their only problem is they mostly cater to apple.

Just bought the bag. Best buy online has it on sale for 47.99. Had to make the store price match it.

I feel like there's too much room in that bag for the Xoom. Is that true? Like... will the Xoom slide around or anything inside of it? Also, what kind of case do you have on the Xoom?
The pocket where you'd put the Xoom is a little bigger, but not much. It does not slide around cause of the thick felt padding it has. Feels very secure.
The way the bag is made keeps it from "sliding" around, it is larger than the xoom (a file folder fits in there perfectly), but no excessively so. I think it works, for now, until something Xoom specific hits the market!
Nice Find atoy74! I paid like $60 for mine, but had some Reward Zone money so didn't pay that much out of pocket. I know they have it on Amazon too.
Oh yeah the shoulder strap is long enough to use the bag like a messenger bag too!

Do you guys think that this case would fit the xoom? The iPad 2 dimensions are 241.3 mm(h) x 185.67mm (w) and the xoom is 249.1mm (h) x 167.1mm (w). The case is made for the iPad 2 camera to fit in the right places, but do you guys think that the xoom would fit in like an iPad 2 sleeve? Let me know your ideas.

I bought it in store, for 30 but will be going back today to get my 15 dollar refund, it is super nice to get me by until a good portfolio case comes out.
i got the $15 HP case in store at Best Buy Tuesday night. Not bad, little too big for my taste (I used to have a very snug iPad case that I LOVED)
Do any of you have a case for the lapdock to recommend?
I travel a lot and use my lapdock everyday and I want to prevent it be scratched up.
Cheers
I just searched "Atrix Laptop Dock Case" on amazon. I ordered the one at this link because I liked the color scheme (slime green on black). It's your standard neoprene case with a zipper pouch, a bit overpriced, with no handle. It makes me comfortable stuffing the Lapdock into a backpack though (which is all I really wanted). I'd buy it again if I lost it, but not if I could find (a cheaper) one with a handle. Good luck.

might consider getting this.
There's the official one, but it's pricey.

Try this company for the OEM case, I found their price and service to be excellent

I haven't checked the exact dimensions, but you could also try a neoprene sleeve for the 13" macbook air (the laptop dock has that extra bar at the back, which may add the extra couple inches) or even the 11" air.
I got the motorola one, looks and works a treat, cost more than the rest but worth the money.
I bought a Kenneth Cole Reaction bag from Fry's. Below is a link to what the bag looks like.

I have the motorola one. It works great and looks very nice.

I have a Roocase for my Apple MacBook and I quite like it, so I jumped on this case.
I got it for less than $5 on a preorder but it's about $8 now: http://www.amazon.com/rooCASE-Google-Nexus-Tablet-Dual-View/dp/B00E3ZYWUM
Pros:
Magnet works perfectly
Stylus included isn't terrible, pen is weak though
Provides a level of protection I'm comfortable with
Versatile positioning options
Works perfectly with my Nokia DT-800 wireless charger Qi
Velcro helps keep the tablet stable at all times in both orientations
Tablet detaches from the unit to provide a second viewing angle or a smaller device to grasp (very nice!)
Side buttons easy to access
Price
Cons:
Heft, but considering the features and detachable tablet it makes sense
Enjoy!
I have a similar one, made by them, and it doesn't detach but overall its pretty decent for five bucks. Ive heard of people getting mad because the smell and what not, but I don't see why it bothers them that much.

Both are on Amazon. The wired goes for $50, and the wireless goes for $70 (contrary to what the article states). It shows $90, but that's from a third party seller. You have to choose Amazon as the seller under "More Buying Options" if you want it for $70. Ships in 2-4 weeks.
Seems to be US only for now, despite the fact that it's an international device. I'll just stick with my Nokia Qi charger.

Agreed, while I like the idea of docks they are just always over priced and never work if you have a case. I have a nokia qi charger on my nightstand for my nexus 5, might as well just pick up another one for around $25 for my desk. So nice not having to plug in the charger anymore.
I have both the docks, they are available in the UK through the Asus Shop.
The wireless dock is a lot smaller than you might expect. It comes with a charger which has a very big suppression core at one end. It will charge the Nexus 7 with a case fitted or even with the case open (doubled up) to expose the screen. It only works with the Nexus 7 in landscape mode and does not have any magnets to hold the Nexus 7 in place. It is far less fussy than the Google official Qi charger which requires almost millimeter precise positioning and barely works with most cases.
The wired dock is made of a semi transparent grey plastic that attracts grease marks like a neodymium magnet. You need to remove the case from your Nexus 7 for it to connect, it is a very snug fit. The base has a micro HDMI connector and a micro USB for charging. Unlike an MHL adaptor it does not need power to work. This is really most suitable for semi permanent use, if you use a case to protect your Nexus 7 you would probably be better off buying a slim port display lead instead.

Cool. I ordered the wireless one from Amazon (for $70) after I made this thread. Even though it said "2 to 4 weeks" to ship, I actually just got the notification that it shipped today. Should be getting it by Tuesday. I was looking for a second standing Qi Charger (for work) since I use my Nexus 4 Orb at home. I'll see how it works with my N7 2013 as well as my N5. Do you have any experience using the wireless one with a N5?

I don't have a Nexus 5 around to try it but recently read a review that said it worked well with the N5.

I just ordered the corded one and it said I'll get it between march 25th and April 1st. Looking forward to it.

Welp... Just received the wireless charger. First off, let me say, it works wonderfully with the N7 2013, which one would hope considering this Qi charger was made specifically for it. It does look pretty slick and is A LOT smaller than I was anticipating. However, I'm sad to say that it's going back to Amazon. The main reason is that it doesn't work with my Nexus 5 like I was hoping it would. I have my N5 in a Diztronic TPU case, and the bottom lip of the case apparently raises it just high enough to be out of range of the charging coils. It will charge without a case, but I'm not about to commit to taking it out of the case every single time I want to use this charger for my N5. The only reason I could justify paying this price was if I would be able to use it on my N7 AND N5. I guess I'll just wait for the Tylt Vu to go back on sale again and pick that up instead. Pretty disappointed.
It is surprisingly smaller than you expect, whoever took the promo pictures should give Tom Cruise a call.
Shame it's not compatible with your N5 in it's case, that is a little surprising as this is the most unfussy Qi charger I have used to date.

Yeah I just got mine last week and I think I might be sending it back as well. The bottom lip isn't big enough to secure the N7 2013 while its in my poetic case so it doesn't really work as the "plot-and-charge-grab-and-go" solution that I hoped it would.
Bummer :crying:
