Dangit Oh well. Ill finish the write up so people can do it themselves. I need to work faster. Next challenge is the nexus s 4g Of course im low on monies after the inc 2 but I will see what I can do
Nexus S 4g Sprint
I have the drivers on my computer, but the phone will not show up on any com port. what do I need to do to get the Nexus S to show on an com port so I can use CDMA workshop
Data should be easy. Its the same for all HTC phones that you flash over to cricket. Just use Ryan Mogul's Cricket pst settings on the link I provided here. Dial ##778 and hit send and enter in your spc to access your epst settings, you should know what to do by following instructions on Ryan's page.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=492824
Waiting for your updates buddy
If you get even temp root you should be able to push everything you need.
Same as any other htc.

I'm looking to flash my Incredible 2 to MetroPcs as well, where can i get step by step info to do so? I have searched everywhere but you are the first person I heard that has it flashed to MetroPcs, please help.
So has anybody had luck in fully flashing the DINC2 to cricket? I have talk and text but when I try to change settings in either cdma workshop or QPST they don't stick. How can I fix that?
Incredible 2 to Cricket w everything working
I just did a Dinc 2 to Cricket, Using the standard Verizon Software (Android 2.2.1),
Once the PST settings where right, I got 3G & WAP/Market & incoming MMS.
I used QPST & ##778# to program the pst and had no problem with the settings reverting to VZW except of course if you do *228 (will wipe many cricket settings)
Note: while most PSt settings for Cricket are documented by referring to the HTC 6800 PST setup, there are some additional settings necessary to get 3G. I have provided those below.
I Had to update the apn with following to get outgoing MMS.
<?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8' standalone='yes' ?>
<apns count="1">
<apn name="CDMA-MMS" numeric="46605" mcc="466" mnc="05" apn="mms" user="Your10Digit#@mycricket.com" server="NA" password="cricket" proxy="wap.mycricket.com" port="8080" mmsproxy="null" mmsport="null" mmsprotocol="null" mmsc="http://mms.mycricket.com/mycricket/mms.php" type="mms" />

We have two people asking for guides on how to flash the Dinc 2 to Cricket, yet I believe my solution (above) provides the complete answer (other than how to use/ install Qpst and the original 6800 Cricket PST settings.
The cricket 6800 PST settings can be found on numerous forums, I believe they where originally written by Ryan mogul, you can find them on this forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=492824
I would think that anybody who has flashed a few Qualcomm chipeset based phones could extrapolate and interpolate and minor differences between QPST/##778 on those two phones.
Please let me know what is unclear and I will add it to my advice.
And Thanks for everybodys help.

Hey, I got an Incredible and I am trying to figure out which roms support MMS
All of the roms I have tried either are 0% or half ass work.
So I was wondering if any of you guys knew any
roms for the incredible that support MMS 100% Send and Recieve.
Thanks
I've never used a rom that didn't have mms have you tried *22899?

Direct dial to *228 option 2 for updating roaming list
You also need to define 100%. Some ROM's have a hard time sending MMS when WiFi is on but they all seem to work fine otherwise
yeah thats what i mean. I want an 100% fully working wifi and 3g functionally.

yeah but stock defeats the purpose I rooted my phone...im looking for a rom...a custom stock rom would be fine but im diffidently not going back to stock.
Why not just use virtuous then? Its stock basically but better.
latest leak from our friends to the north .. HTC Panache_videotron edition .. don't ask me... (thank you 911 Sniper and JoelZ9614)
like the last one, all i've done is taken the raw RUU and turned it into something you can flash and have fun with right away ...
rooted, busybox, deodexed, zipaligned .. and uploaded
already been talking to Drew and I think he's gonna work in anything that may be newer in this one but it looks pretty darn similar to the other to me ..
the previous leak showed a rom version: 2.09.1800.1
this one is: 2.10.1530.1
the previous leak was built on: 4-27-11
this one: 4-28-11
they're both built on 2.3.3

I love how everyone is asking questions like has this or that been added. Hows the xxx. Cmon peeps, he states in the op he didn't do anything but cook the leak. So the answer to everyones questions. Exactly the reason i didn't want to release this leak on its own... I got it since last night and I thought about having too many leaked ROMs with just a name change would lead to mass confusion and Q&A nightmare. We should merge all the Panache Leaked ROM under 1 unified thread, this would help users with the same questions for all these Panache clones.

Hi all Got a little issue here running cm10 just flashed from ics looks great runs smooth great job guys but here is the problem no data? I have my epic 4g touch flashed to metro pcs I went thru the instructions several times have wiped everything started over numerous times but still no data. The icons don't come on or anything. At this point I am stuck I have pretty good knowledge on how things work around here if someone can take a moment and point me in the right direction I would be very grateful. I saw another post on no data on cm9 and claims doing a nandroid back up from previous rom then flashing the restoring works but that did not work either was very brief in what he had done so description wasn't very clear. So that I can get a good reply this is exactly what I have at this point: SPH-d710 phone Android ver.4.1.1 Baseband Fh23 Kernel ver. #.).15-cm-g4471ee1 [email protected]#1 CyanogenMod 10-20120901-unofficial-d710 Flashed metro pcs with everything working talk txt web mms. Again Thank you all for any help in this matter these guys do some great stuff and would like to use this software. Keep up the great work guys.
To get data working on non-TW ROMs you have to replace a few files in the ppp folder. I don't have the Metro PCS files though, I only have the Cricket files

Sorry for the REALLY late reply.
This is the thread that lead me in the right direction: http://www.cricketusers.com/sprint-samsung-galaxy-sii-epic-4g-touch/32209-web-cm9.html
And this is the post with the flashable zip: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=22162851&postcount=10
It says it works for "alternate carriers" but I'm on Cricket so I'm not sure if it'll work for Metro PCS. You can give it a shot though. Let me know how it goes.
Trying it now thanks will keep you posted on what my findings are thanks again for the pointer fingers crossed.
Was a no go thanks tho hopefully one of the developers will be able to point me in the right direction. Thanks again
Maybe look through this thread? (http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all...-evo-all-info-here-rom-metrogenmod-7-1-a.html)
Edit: You could try the AOSP web script from this thread also (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=795182)
I have the exact same problem but am now on blue kuban for the same reason... if you find a solution let us know i might try cm10 again
I will do some research and update you all on the outcome thanks again for the info
Ok looks like I may have to go into qpst and edit my internet settings but have ran into a snag on cm10 cant get the program to recognize the phone if I could get it to pick up the phone then I can reedit the settings for my data to work but like I said at a snag. Will update as soon as I can figure it out or something changes on the rom to access the modem. Any help would be appreciated.

SOLVED flashed the zip on Paranoidandorid 4.1.1 works like a charm thank you your awsome have a nice day
Found a answer
Ok boys and girls I found the stepping stones to how to make this work now mind you I am still working on it. This is what I have done thus far I went to playstore downloaded apn shortcut as soon as it hits your home screen you can click on it and change your apn settings to whatever carrier you are on then I went to my dialer and typed as follows *#*#4636#*#* this opens a window if you scroll down some you will see it say something other than cdma what you want there is auto cdma (prl) as soon as I did this the data came on now Im not in a good signal area but it came on it only showed 1x tho I do not know if that is because of my area. If anyone can test that and let me know we might have made progress and if I am doing something wrong feel free to tell me what it is. Again any help in this matter is greatly appreciated and if this helps don't forget to say thanks lots of long nights trying to figure this out. :good:
Ok figured out
Finally success the only issue is I'm only getting 1x I flashed the alternative carrier fix then I went to the dailer and typed in *#*#4636#*#* then scrolled down and changed the setting to cdma prl auto and data started working so now Im trying to get answers on 3g coming on sorry took so long to figure out Im still learning myself if you guys need the link I can post it if necessary. Also when you go in and change the setting to cdma prl auto you mayhave to click it a couple times for it to stick it may change itself to unknown just click it againg to cdma prl auto again til you get the data going and then it will stick. If this helps don't forget to say thanks

FWIW this may be an issue of the past. Let me look again at FK23 contents and see if they're supporting something...
I have an HTC EVO 4g flashed to Straight Talk. I need to be able to plug the phone into CDMA Workshop or DFS CDMA so I can save the NAM Programming to a file. The problem is, my EVO's USB port is bad, it will not charge or connect to the PC in anyway so I can put it ##Diag# for the programs.I recently purchased a new EVO and I am needing to write the NAM files to it so the phone will work.. As of right now, the only thing that will work on the new EVO is texting. Once I get the new EVO working, I am going to destroy the old one (It has had a very long fulfilling life!).
Thanks in advance for the help!
Without a usb connection you can not access it in either program. Although all the needed info should be accessible VIA epst (##data#) write down needed info and then follow a guide for flashing to your provider.

Thanks for response! I haven't found a guide to flashing an EVO to Straight Talk. Only way I have ever done it was through reading/writing the numbers... I looked at ##DATA# and the names of the numbers didn't match up to the programs, but I will try to decipher it. Thanks for letting me know that I will not be able to back up the NAM files using the 2 programs I listed. Thanks given!

Congrats. Welcome to one of the old but great phones. Fyi only gingerbread roms have all the drivers for the phone to work properly. Ics/jb have no 4g, front camera, hdmi out or fm tuner. I recommend the sense 3.5 roms they have super battery life and work very well. Also the amon ra style recovery is rock solid good backups and restores and it will install every Rom except the new 4.3 evervolv.

Awesome, thanks for the tip on the ROM, I am currently using a MikRom with Sense 2.1 rom.. but I have been watching vids of the 3.5 and I like and am searching right now for a good rom. I am not new to the EVO, I got an EVO the same day it came out with Sprint, but upgraded to a galaxy later without doing my homework on it. I bought the EVO Shift 4g and put it on straight talk, My phone history is Samsung Rant < Samsung Moment < HTC EVO 4g < Samsung Galaxy sII < HTC EVO Shift < HTC EVO 4g... I am in love with HTCs products... my next phone is going to be the HTC ONE.. that thing is a beauty! Thanks again for the ROM Tip.
