im not sure y m,y phone is doing this but it is. i flashed rcmixhd 6.1.0.1 and after about 5 hours, i stopped recieving calls. reflashingn the radio fixed this issue. 5 hours later, same thing. i tried android revolution and same issues. i can only recive calls but cannot make them and i cant recive a text until i reboot my phone and they all popup oince it connects to my network. any1 know how to fix this or am i stuck on android 2.2?
could me not flashing the ril be the issue?? i casnt figure this out.. driving me crazy. find a rom i like and i cant use it longer then 1 day

I'm not sure what happened to my Droid Inc but it won't make or receive phone calls. I can download stuff, sync with the market, send texts, ect. It shows I have full 3g, but as soon as I try to make a call, it drops all signal to nothing. Then, it'll bounce the signal indicator around, but won't ever connect. Tried *228, *22899, calling other phones, ect.
The only thing I did recently, and not sure if I've used my phone since was I upgraded my hboot to 0.92, it was 0.7x. I did a nadroid restore and everything seemed normal. I tried flashing the 11.19 radio and the EVO radio and it doesn't seem to matter. Did I screw something up when I flashed hboot 0.92?
What else can I try? If in a sense rom, and dialing ##3282#, I get the options to change the EREC stuff around. I have it set to EVRC-B enabled, but Home and Roam are both set to EVRC. I'm gonna put a sense rom back on there and disable EVRC-B and see if that does anything, but I've had it that way for over a week now.
I've tried CM7 final and nighlty 40 and a 2.2 Warm Z. Is there anything else I can do to this to get it up and working again?
Using Oxygen ROM 1.0.4 right now with latest radio 32.56, but had the same problem with previous radio and 2.03 versions (and the ROM versions before as well).
Some calls (seemingly only from other mobile phones) don't get through to me. My provider sends an SMS for missed calls, which is awkward, because the SMS tells me, that just a minute ago someone tried calling me. Even when the phone is still in the exact same position on my desk.
Anybody else noticing this issue? Any suggestions? Can this even be related to the radio or is it the ROM? Or even the provider?
As a next step I'm gonna try another radio and/or ROM, but really like Oxygen...

I have/had a similar issue. callers sometimes go straight to voicemail, but also making calls could be 2 or 3 attempts before a successful connection. Currently set the phone to gsm/2g and the situation appears to have greatly improved

OK, so I'm not new to rooting and flashing roms. I've never had problems before now. I have flashed ics-deck and preludedrew's Ics roms after updating to the correct superuser. both roms were the most current releases at the time and I am currently preludedrew's. now, when I start streaming music or radio over my 3G or turn on my wifi hotspot and stream through my notebook or Xoom my evo won't receive calls or texts. previously, while using cm7 and other gb roms, even when streaming or being tethered, calls and texts would come through. when I stop streaming, all my texts finally come through and the only way to know I missed a call is if they leave a voicemail.
does anyone have any ideas if this is common or if there is a fix? I have searched and come up with nothing.

If not I would personally wipe davik and cache by doing a system reset and then try re flashing it, did you flash gapps?
A few days ago my texts and calling stopped working on my phone. It is weird because if some people text me I will get all of them at once maybe once or twice a day and I can sometimes respond but it takes many attempts and usually doesn't work. I'm running JBSourcery 5.0 but this did not start until a few days after I installed it and after wiping everything then re-installing the rom it did not fix it. I've tried dialing *228 which took a lot of attempts for the call to go through and when it finally did it still did not fix it. I can still connect to 4g though, just no texting and calling. Anyone know anything else I can do to fix this?
Hello everyone, What would be the problem and possibly the solution if there's no audio on a regular phone call? Skype and Viber works well , signal is strong and I can send and receive sms but every time I make/receive a regular phone calls , we cant hear each other (completely silent) . Im running cm10 , and I tried PAC , rooted stock and Jedi mind trick. I always wipe before flashing any roms but with no success. I even flashed 3 different kinds of radios but still nothing . Please advise on what should be my next move or if you encounter this problem before. Thanks
