i've been reading here for a long time now and i have my DHD with RCmixHD 6.1.0.1 and newest Radio/RIL etc ... working very well.
But i can't solve the problem, that my OpenVPN doesnt work as it should. (On CM7 my ovpn-config file worked fine)
So, i flashed the latest MDJ's Kernel onto RCmixHD to get the tun.ko ... After that i did this tutorial: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=848939 to get OpenVPN.
I can connect to my server, i get an ovpn-ip but i can't reach my samba share or even ping that ovpn-ip.
Writing ifconfig in terminal emulator on the DHD , there is a tun0 device with correct client ip.
Is there a solution to get OpenVPN working on newest RCMixHD ??

I have a problelm whit activesync when im using the latest froyo rom. At the moment i use the rom from firerizn_r3, and when im try to configure activesync, i allways get a message, that the the server cant open. If i install a normal stock rom r3 from modaco.com, the activesync works normal.
My server is accessable from outside over the activesync/pushmail adress, but it didnt work in combination whit the froyo rom. I have the problem whit all froyo roms 91.. ..is here anybody whit the same problem, any idea what the problem can be?

Hello All,
Is there a possibility to add outlook htc-sync to a custom rom like Opendesire or Cyagogen rom?
Because i can only sync my calender and mail via htc-sync with my work, there is no other possibility to get my calender synced at work.
I hope that somebody can help me, maybe by adding additional APK files to the custom roms?.

Thanks for your reply, but i don't want to setup one or multiple exchange accounts, because our exchange server isn't reachable directly to my desire. I really need the HTC-Sync program on my office computer.
Because Opendesire and Cyanogen doen'st have sense, is there a possibility to add htc-sync to that roms?

i'm currently using defrost 3.6
no issues with emails sync to exchange.
have tested od4.0.4 but it crashed, cynaogen 6.0 activesync to exchange works fine too.
both testing using 3G and wifi, no issues on froyo roms

But i mean the USB cable HTC-Sync, because i cannot have connection with my company's exchange server via wifi nor 3g. I really need HTC-Sync USB cable and the HTC-Sync program set up on my office computer.
The option HTC-Sync is missing in custom AOSP rom's like Opendesire and Cyanogen, so i find a solution to add the missing HTC-Sync to these roms?.

On my CM7 RC1 désire HD, since 4 days, when I activate wifi, he find wifis, but he can't obtain the Ip adress in any wifi spot .....
I tryed a nadroid backup, but nothing change
not realy usefull ..

and no traffic flows through the vpn.
So my question is which ROMs have a working pptp client?

first i've to say, that the new Runnymede Rom is very nice.
I installed it yesterday and it almost runs very good, but I've one (little) problem.
When i activate OpenVPN I got the message "Failed to load tun module. Device node/dev/tun or dev/net/tun did not show up.
I configured it as i did in a old Runnymede version (3.5), where it was working good.
Has anyone a hint to get started with OpenVPN?
