Downgrade Artemis back to WM5

Hello to all
i've tried different WM6 Roms but i'm noct convinced to use it yet.
That's why i'm trying to find a way to downgrade to WM5.
I know that there are several how-tos but none worked yet.
I already tried the opposite way via uspl to downgrade. no success yet.
WM5 Rom is here, when trying to downgrade i get the error message 260 which means no connection to the device. i'm using the same machine for downgrading as for upgrading, nothing but the Rom on the phone has changed.
Currently i'm using the o2-xda-orbit german rom.
If anybody has a clue what to do to get the old stuff back, thx in advance

You can downgrade your O2 Orbit successfully if you have Original German ROM (WM5) which is available somewhere in this forum. I can't remember which thread but if you do some search I am sure that you will find it.

I own a HTC P3300 Artemis.
Using USPL and the original o2 german wm6 rom i flashed it with WM6.
I already downloaded a german wm5 rom, my problem right now is that i cannot by any unknown circumstances get this rom on my phone.
No matter whether i use uspl before trying to flash the original rom or if i don't use uspl the result remains the same.
The update utility keeps telling me that it is not possible to connect to my smartphone.
Active Sync/ Mobile devices center connection is working fine though.

Main problem seemed to be my os!
even though i already flashed using vista as os this time it didn't work out.
I used my other computer running xp and it worked on the first run!

i recognize that problem... even though i always sync with my laptop (Vista) i use another com (XP) to flash..
Don´t know why but it seems alot have experienced this prob.

I have bought a htc3300 from a dealer that i find at skroutz but after 1 day i had lost the 2nd language keyboard so i took it back to the dealer to fix the problem he said that wm6 is free to upgrade so let passed it but he put the touch htc software that don't work good how can i downgrade to wm5 again please help it's only 2 days mobile !!!!

well after many pockets of tobaccos i fix it with the Original HTC Artemis WM5 ROM here : http://rapidshare.com/files/19322112...0_WWE_SHIP.rar thanxs very much it finds the image version of htc touch and make a downgrade that was that the upsl cannot do ,the upls reload the same version that had before maybe because it didn't know the previus

The UPLS is not a ROM??
When you run UPLS it sets the CID registration, so you can flash any ROM you want - but offcouse you still have to get the ROM

you 're right after upsl you can downgrade or upgrade... many tnx for info...

failed ROM Flash error 260

Hello,
I've tried to flash my Rom but the connection crashed. Now the trinity(P3600) can't connect any more, so i can't flash the ROM to default and I can't acces the trinity. I would like to flash my ROM so that I can use the Trinity.
Can someone help me please.

By the way are u using xp or vista?
Many people has this problem with vista but not with xp...
With xp try to update/reinstall active sync 4.5

Rom's working with sync to outlook?

Hi all
I need to be able to sync my disire with my pc and outlook. I have tryed a lot of rom, and the only one i can get working is "Amer_Bravox". I like the rom and right nou I am using Amer_Bravox_V5_red_Tech-OVUC ON 1113MHZ.
But I like to be able to try others rom.
Can anyboddy tell me the withs rom is able to sync to outlook????

Is there a possibility to add outlook htc-sync to a custom rom like Opendesire or Cyagogen rom?
Because i can only sync my calender and mail via htc-sync with my work, there is no other possibility to get my calender synced at work.
I hope that somebody can help me, maybe by adding additional APK files to the custom roms?.

Thanks for your reply, but i don't want to setup one or multiple exchange accounts, because our exchange server isn't reachable directly to my desire. I really need the HTC-Sync program on my office computer.
Because Opendesire and Cyanogen doen'st have sense, is there a possibility to add htc-sync to that roms?

i'm currently using defrost 3.6
no issues with emails sync to exchange.
have tested od4.0.4 but it crashed, cynaogen 6.0 activesync to exchange works fine too.
both testing using 3G and wifi, no issues on froyo roms

But i mean the USB cable HTC-Sync, because i cannot have connection with my company's exchange server via wifi nor 3g. I really need HTC-Sync USB cable and the HTC-Sync program set up on my office computer.
The option HTC-Sync is missing in custom AOSP rom's like Opendesire and Cyanogen, so i find a solution to add the missing HTC-Sync to these roms?.

i try to install android from this ROM (dnbtommy_s1.RLS)
the set up can not finish successful in the end
whn i rest my device there is no wm rom , no boot screen
just load linux... i dnt know how to handle it....
i try to install Wm Rom bak on kaiser but there is no atcive sync connetion or nthing else

You used right procedure for installing Android?!
...use another build...i'm not sure how good dnbtommy works...

if you started procedure of installing Android (flashin kernel, build etc.) you will not be able to connect device over activesync. Get WinMO .NBH file ~60MB+ put on SDCard and flash it like you are flashing kernel for Android [Camera + Power button]...after that everything will work normal...

buddy i need some important information about my kaiser
my kaiser is working fine but suddenly its gona turn off... whn i opend camera and make a video my kaiser .. and second thing batry drains so much fast....
and can u tell me the best wm6.5 rom for kaiser

rom version is kaiser touch wwe
radio version is 1.70.18.02
no doubt room is gud but it has many bugs... like some time key pressing not responding like etc...
