so ive got a tilt 2 and up until about last week, "no problems". right around thursday/friday marketplace starts hanging up on the sign in screen. the app is working fine. i can navigate around it and close it, but once the sign in screen pops up it hangs. also if i put in the wrong password it attempts to sign in and tells me i have the incorrect info in there. any thoughts on whats causing this.
just to clarify, its the stock rom, ive already tried reinstalling it and im not talking about the issue where it hangs up on the update screen...it gets past that and just wont sign in.
Hey guys,
First post on this forum so be gentle
I've had an HTC desire for several weeks now and have to say what a great bit of kit! Does everything you could ever think of so far!
I have had one issue that seems to have started up last night however! It seems that every so often when I return to the home screen a loading box appears briefly and then goes away. If I then check my friend stream etc it shows up as loading. This seems to happen randomly after around ten mins or so. I have tried switching phone off and taking battery out but it still comes up. I even tried the "Magic keys" of vol down, power and trackpad but it still shows up? Does anyone know what this could be that is causing it? It gets a bit annoying having it pop up saying loading after a short length of time!
Thanks in advance for any advice to this noob!
I had it happen a couple of times, no idea why. It eventually stopped happening though.
I also have Loading message sometimes and when it disappears there is also an empty browser window shown for a moment...
I think it try to the home screen again. But I don't know why.

Well I had a look through all my apps and removed one that was called "Toggle settings" and so far it aint done anything for the last hour! Will keep you guys updated if this has solved my problem!
Now, it's not a bootloop. Thought I'd clear that up first.
Sometimes when I reboot my phone, it'll loop the splash maybe 2, 3 or even more times and then get to the CM7 image and start up.
I noticed this after activating Wifi. I don't know if it's the cause, though. I'm actually gonna test that after this post... Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this.
Started on CM7 RC...4, I think. Still doing it on Final as well.
Also, my Wifi stopped working. D: It was working the first time I turned it on, rebooted and then it was borked.

Hi everyone,
So last night I got a software update for my beloved LG G3, it mentioned something about fixes or improvements trough google patch.
After this update it booted up and while my simcard was still in there, the screen said: "No sim No service" at the bottom of the lockscreen. Yes, the simcard was still in and yes, i tried re installing the simcard into the phone, rebooting as well.
Now to further explain my problem, i have a certain feeling this is a software problem because of the following:
My phone had another update a few months ago, this went all well but apparently the battery was done while the 'Optimizing apps to the new android' (Or so) part was busy. After i booted my phone again on the charger it kept going with optimizing the remaining apps (which were about 80). It stopped updating after around 10 apps. I pulled my battery out and in and it continued for a bit again.
I went trough this process for a couple of times until all the apps were updated and came up with some apps that were just closing themselves after trying to boot these, but it were only a few (Soundcloud, Facebook, Instagram, and some games) Even downloading new games got me the same problem.
I updated all these apps and after that nothing was wrong, even downloading new apps again was no problem.
While this update that i got yesterday was going, it got stuck at update 2/2 at 48%, i thought that this might had to do with my really bad previous update. So with pain in my eyes i ripped the battery out again and put it in and it went over the 48% but got stuck somewhere at 57%. So i repeated that process until the software was updated and then with anxious feelings the 'Android is optimizing apps' started. And yes it got stuck again after a few apps. So i repeated again the whole unhealthy process of getting the battery out until every app was updated.
After THAT, i immediately checked if some apps were closing themselves again but i only found out my simcard wasn't active. So no 4g/3g, not even bars of connection.
I know i did bad things to my phone while updating, i'm completely aware. But PLEASE can anyone help me out getting my simcard work again?
Many thanks in advance!
Is your phone rooted? Verify your variant is still listed correctly.

Downgrade to the version before this happend. So before the software update. Do this by flashing the firmware by the lg flash tool

This won't require root?
And considering my history of updates that went so rough as i explained, will this make a difference? I mean, if i would go back and then update again, won't the same thing happen again?
No u dont have to be rooted to restore. And not nessicarily might have been a bad download mightve been somethin u had goin on interfered
so I made a similar post a couple of days ago. I'm on verizon and was on stock 5.0.1. I got a new sim card which fixed it for a day or 2, then my phone did the 5.1.1. update and the sim went kaput again. I got it working for a short period, but since then my 2nd sim is completely dead.
How about you are you on verizon? are you stock? what version are you on?
