Tapatalk does not remember log in details - Galaxy S I9000 Themes and Apps

Hi,
Just today I've purchased Tapatalk, straight from the Android Market.
I've added a few forums to my favs list, but after some time (30-60mins, not sure) when I open tapatalk application, I see the forums (in favourites) as "guest" ... in another words I need to re-log in.
It happened twice today already.
What's going on ??
Thnx

All done. Clean wipe was the only solution but have all apps up and running in no time.

Looking for Tapatalk

I keep seeing in the footer of people's messages in this forum that they sent it using the xda mobile app powered by Tapatalk. Well I've spent a long time trying to find this app with no success! I know it's listed in the market but like many apps there, once you select it from the search results, it says it cannot find it. Is it restricted to people outside the UK maybe? Is there anywhere else I can download it from and is it really worth having?
Thanks for any help.
What you are looking for is the 'XDA-Developers' App in the Market.
Great, I finally have it. Thanks for your help. I don't think much of the search in the market as it didn't even find it when searching on xda!

I was looking for the same thing last night (eventually found the XDA specific version), but I did find out that the reason the full version doesn't appear is because Google haven't authorized the Desire ROM as "legitimate" yet. This means that any apps that the developers flags as copy protected won't show up, such as Tapatalk, ShapeWriter and a bunch of others.
They did the same thing with the Hero when it was first released and took them some time to fix it. Unfortunately the ball is in Google's court so there's nothing we can do but wait. :-/
That's quite frustrating but it's nice to know the reason for it anyway.

anyone got a link to tapatalk?
like the posts above say, search the market for XDA-developers.....
is that xda forum specific? is there a taptalk application that can be used with other forums?
it's not XDA specific.
For some hard to understand reason though, the generic TapaTalk is not available on the market (tried with both Desire and Liquid, hence android 2.1 and 1.6).
I solved by "finding" it from other sources, sources I obviously cannot link here
Does someone have archives of older versions of the XDA tapatalk app? I just updated to 1.3.2 (and I don't remember what version I was running previously) and it runs extremely slowly on my G1. I'd like to go back to an older version. Maybe 1.3.0, maybe older, dunno yet.
I can find the tapatalk just fine in market. It's a paid app.

Google play

Is anyone else having this issue in google play.
You scroll down as you look at apps.
You select one to look at it then go back to the app list.
Once back to the list you are started back at the top.
Pretty annoying if you are pretty far down.
Anyone know of a fix

It works like that for everyone. I have not seen a fix for it.

It will probably be fixed in a newer version, it is annoying but its no biggie

I have actually contacted Google about this. It happens when viewing the "My Apps" and is especially annoying in the "All" tab. It also happens in the "Top New Free" apps section. Google emailed me back and said they can't promise anything, but my concern had been forwarded to their developers. I really hope they fix this.
Good deal. Yeah it's not a huge deal but gets annoying when you are searching for apps and have to scroll through a couple hundred apps to get back to where you left off. Seems like it would be an easy fix for Google I wonder why they don't fix it.

It would be great if they fix it soon... and also give us the possibility to clean the chronology of the google play, i've an endless list of apps it's pretty useless...

Yes, now that you mention it the app history of every app you downloaded in the last 5 years is worse. I download and try a ton of free apps as well as paid. Most free apps are deleted within the day, so I have a gazillion apps in the my apps list

I agree these issues are annoying. I'll sign any petition!
Furthermore, they need to bring back a way of filtering purchased apps. All of our purchased apps should be in one convenient place.

I heard there was an apk called "play legend"that allows you to see all purchased apps, still haven't found + installed it yet though

Theres legacy play store by Paul O'brien on MoDaCo.
An update to the Playstore is being rolled out to address some of these issues. You can now remove apps from the all apps list and it appears to keep your place when you scroll.

This new Play Store is sweet! You can delete historical apps and it remembers your position when navigating backward!
I downloaded from the article link, cleared market data, pushed to system (rooted), and rebooted. Works great.

XDA Advanced Search / Participated Threads

XDA Advanced Search (the one for which you click the little gears icon) and related functionality like "find posts by user" and "my participated threads" is offline while we rebuild the cache for the search indexes. They appear to have become corrupted so we are rebuilding them, and these features will remain offline until that has been completed. I would estimate they will be completed in about 10 hours, or midnight UTC.
Apologies for the inconvenience, this happens occasionally and the only way to repair them is to do a rebuild.

Search is back up. Thanks all.
Yeah everything is working fine again. Thanks a lot.

I think there are still problems with the cache or something like that?!
All automatic created Links don't work.
For example when I want to look for the originale Thread, somebody quoted, I click on the arrow in the Quote-Box but come to a different page in this Thread.
When I use the search inside a Thread and clicks on a post it is the same way.
In this way the Thread-Search seems very useless to me.

Unofficial COM 10.1 broken apps thread

**IF ANY DEVS HAVE AN ISSUE WITH THIS THREAD. PLEASE PM ME**
I have noticed with running CM10.1 Some Google Play apps do not work.
Installing these apps can cause ROM instabity and Random Reboots. I want you to list apps you find aswell!
findings
-Facebook (the app is broken. Messenger works fine)
-Titanium Backup
-Any facebook enabled game
Post more as you find them!
It also includes FUN Run, as I am unable to login using Facebook.
Actually, Any game that uses Facebook as a sign in causes an issue.
Why is FB broken?

YouTube DogBone APK

Some of you might have noticed for about an hour we had a special edition youtube app. It was pushed ota to general when it should have only went to beta team. Well they fixed that super quick. But I already backed up the app. This youtube has a few beta feature's which are interesting.
See screen shot's below. Youtube will automatically try to update this so turn off auto update's. Install apk manually/copy to data app/set perms/reboot. If its doesn't show up go to data/app click on app to install it.

YouTube keeps closing after I start the app. Any ideas? I did all the steps you described.

The dev knows about that. I saw it mentioned after the newest update.

I'm not sure really. Android police wrote an article on this today. But I didn't read it.
