If your phone is rootet, flashing a new Radio is no prob. Just download it an use Rom Manager to flash it.
new CWM can be flashed with unrevoked. Or you have to go s-off

BTW, Wildfire's Files are always PC49IMG. (Although this is not required for Radio Flashing, Just letting you know. Each device has its specific code)

i used radio version 3.35.20.10 ... don't know if the older version work or not..
what kind of errors you are facing ?? i hope its about script .. if so .. then you must download "Radio_13.55.55.24H_3.35.20.10" from the wildfire index page (this package is by default amend scripted) . i hope you are using clockworkmod 3.xx or later which doesn't support "amend scripting" that why you have to use CWM 2.xx .. for that purpose you must have "ROM Manager" installed. comes with CM7 By Default ..
so from ROM manager.... flash the old version 2.xx ( will be temporary).. choose the "rebooot into recovery" option .. when in recovery (with green menu text) .. choose the zip to install .. and here you go ... a working GPS ..
Ok!!!I firstly flashed the update1.zip,CWM temporary changed and then i flashed regularly like i was flashing a ROM.I flashed them successfully to 3.35.19.25 because i already had the 3.35.20.10.The installation went perfect and now i have my GPS running and some GSM improvements!!!Thanks to all Guys!

You need to be s-off. Are you?
2.5.0.7 is the best IMHO.
Are you S-OFF? If so, just use android flasher to flash your recovery.
oh! s-off needed didnt know that

[Q] Can I flash an old build ?

Hello,
My Wildfire S is with the stock rom 2.3.5, Sense 2.1, Build : 2.26.496.1
Locked, S_ON, HBOOT : 1.09.0099, Radio : 7.57.39.10M
I have some app with rom, I can't delete them.
I don't find a stock rom with the same build, so can I install another rom with an older build like 2.26.401.3 ?
Thanx

1st You must have unlocked bootloader of your device. Visit the http://www.htcdev.com/ website to do so.
2nd. Since the procedure will take some good time, you should have charged your device to have at least 60% of battery life left.
Read about how to Root your wildfire s! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1195275
Hit Thanks if I Helped :good:
Hello,
Without unlocking and no rooting my Wildfire S.
Only using my GoldCard and install an old RUU*.exe ?
no risk to brick WildfireFS ?

possibly you can.
but you need exact ruu as your original one.
like you can use eu 2.26 but it has to be your original ruu.
no brick i guess but i never tried this without bl-tool.because old ruu might not installed because of updated hboot version.so not sure it ll work or not.
but if you want just older version.
root your phone and install custom recovery.
then use bl-tool to lock ur bootloader and set supervision.
then make goldcard of your old ruu.
then put on sdcard and it ll flash that ruu and also remove your root & custom recovery(meaning factory reset state)
Hello,
I hope replace the original stock rom 2.26.496.1 by one of these previous originals versions RUU_Marvel_S_HTC_Europe_2.26.401.3*.exe or by RUU_Marvel_S_HTC_ARA_2.26.415.2*.exe.
Thanx

you can try.
i told you to root because without it you couldnt set your hboot version to supervision..so might ruu won't work.
anyways use gold card and try..good luck
I'll try their.
Thank you
Do you have a link for the stock rom with build 2.26.496.1 ?
thanx

Hi! What cwm you installed? And from where?
Put that file on your SD Card and the HBOOT should detect it and install it. Tell me if it worked or not.

This is the tool i used to gain S-Off (http://revolutionary.io/) Its a further developed version of unrevoked3 for the HTC Wildfire and AlphaRevX for the HTC Desire. This tool should work pretty similiar to unrevoked (but i don't remember very well) so maybe you should have a look in the unrevoked3 thread, which you can find in the Wildfire Development forum at the top of the page.
Also read the revolutionary guide carefully :http://unrevoked.com/rootwiki/doku.php/public/revolutionary
And dont forget to install htc fastboot drivers!
I found a very good tutorial for revolutionary and the HTC Wildfire

my Bootloader status can be seen in screenshot...

You don't need to update anything, your hboot supports all roms.
Unlock the bootloader, flash a custom recovery and install super user.zip
