I'm just curious if anyone is having issues with the Opera Mini browser lately. It seems that within the past week it just plain sucks. Little to no connection or very very slow... I have no issues with other browsers. Cant even back my bookmarks with OperaLink cause it wont connect to anything all of a sudden.

While using Opera Mini 5 or Mobile10 often times when I click, type, or follow to a new web page, it begins to load the new page, then stops and gives up. This is a frustrating issue that I have had with both of these programs and the issue is independent of any ROM.
Does anyone know of a fix for this? I love Opera Mini5, but this issue is ALWAYS a problem and I have no desire to use Internet Explorer.

What version of opera do you use? I mean, did you try the opera version from ninja?
Also, is your data connection stable? Maybe it has something to do with the radio that you are using. I had a radio version once where the connection would just drop when using it for 30 seconds.

It is not a problem with the data connection. Wifi, good reception or not the problem has always persisted. & Mobile9.7 does not have the speed nor the same features as Mini5 or Mobile10 :/
I had this same problem when I had an Excalibur and Opera Mini3 and 4.
A couple of weeks ago I chose LauncherPro as my default home screen, I started noticing some issues with internet browsing. Pages wouldnt load up completely and clicking on links would register on the screen but nothing would happen.
No matter what site I would go to the loading bar would ALWAYS stop half way through and not load the page at all. The only solution I have found was to download a task killer and use that right before I need to surf the net. It will make the internet work a few moments but then it will go back to not working completely.
So after a few days of frustration I uninstalled LauncherPro and started switching back and forth from Sense and ADW. Internet was working FLAWLESSLY.
I recently rooted and flashed Fresh 1.0.1 and tried to use LauncherPro again but the same issues started.....anybody experiencing the same? Any suggestions?

I have a desire z on bell network. I have tried all the miui roms and for some reason i never have internet through the browser. tried searching and seems no one has the same problem.
I can download from the market get all my emails. just no internet.
I like the miui interface but i like internet to. Any help?

Dont know how to fix the problem as i have the same one. So far firefox is working for me. Also u could try skyfire or any other browser
Had the same problem and didn't see anyone else with the issue, so went back to CM 7...too bad, because I really like MIUI.
i thought the problem was specific to chrome so i installed dophin browser but my issue persists. every time try and open xda on my tablet it starts to loads then refreshes and continues on this loop until i give up. im on my laptop right now.
anyone having this issue?

I have the same problem and it's quite annoying, and it isn't just android/tablet browsers, it's also iPhone's browser (safari and chrome).
I recommend you to download the xda-developers app from the play store

Has anyone else noticed how slow web browsing is on this phone? I can't stand it! Connected to 50 mbps wifi and it takes 15-20 sec minimum to fully load a mobile version webpage. Tried chrome, chrome beta, dolphin, stock browsers and all are similar. It's like the pages load half way then stop for 10 sec and the continue loading. I ran a test vs my wifes lg g3 and I was able to load cnn.com, yahoo.com and half load aol.com before my note 4 loaded just cnn!! Love everything about this phone but can't live with this. Any ideas what is causing this?
