Hello everyone, I have been researching on how to activate an HTC Evo 4G on the Boost network for a week now and I've been making some headway. I am stuck trying to write the NV files for it. I am using the guide linked below; I'm at 7:45 and just unlocked the phone with the SPC. I don't know where to get the NV files to write to.
I have tried not to post any questions here because everyone on the forums is very helpful, but I have reached a wall and need some expert help. I have an active Boost account (Galaxy Prevail).
Well, it won't let me link to the video but it's "Flash HTC Evo to Boost Mobile" by Flashed phones on youtube.
You have to extract the NV files from your donor phone. Use CDMA workshop under the Memory Tab. Remember to save each one as a separate txt file. Then you'll need to write them into your Evo.
Hello!
I was wondering if someone could provide me with step by step instructions on how to change my htc evo 4g to virgin mobile service.
I have downloaded a few things already :
1. EVO FLASHING TOOLS. rar
2. VM MMS ROMS.rar
3. VM-official-cm-7.2.0-RC1_Patcher.zip
Will I be able to use the data and internet?
But I have NO IDEA what to do with them. Also, I apologize if this is a repost of a forum already stated. I searched and couldn't find any solutions.
Anywho, any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you root your phone yet? You probably need to start with that so that you can start flashing other images on to your phone. I've never seen those files ( I just started looking because I'm trying to do the same thing ). But a few Google searches wised me up. If you haven't rooted your phone yet, do that first.
Good luck.
Hi all, I've never been to this side of the forums, I'm usually in the AT&T s3 threads. So heres whats going on my cousin has VM and a friend of his gave him a Sprint S3 thinking he could activate on VM since they use the sprint network. Well he found out he couldn't do it directly. but after a quick search on google we found that it could be done. Ive been searching here and google and got a lot of info on the procedure but couldn't find a step by step tutorial. Ive already rooted the S3 and flashed a TWRP recovery, Downloaded Conquest rom for it.
I also have downloaded the CDMA tools DFS tools, how to use it i'm clueless. IS there a video or tutorial on this?
After reading this thread several times :

The donor phone is a LG optimus V
I know that 4g isnt going to happen, unless he had a 4g donor.
Do I need to root the LG phone to get the MSL info via apk like MYMSL Reader?
Is DIAG mode ##DIAG# from the phone dialer?
What is the samsung password and how do I get it?
Any help will be GREATLY appreciated....
I know the only way you used to be able to get the msl on the optimus v was to use CDMA workshop. Its been years since I have had one, so there might be an easier way now.
