heres the problem,
i cannot browse the internet using any browser installed in my phone, but other applications like weather, plurk, facebook, twitter, etc. works just fine so i guess theres no problem with my APN settings.
BTW, when connected on wi-fi it works fine.. the browsers are working properly.
are there someone here who encountered the same problem before and solved it? please help me because it quite irritating..
i already tried wiping the phone, restoring to default, formatting the card but still cannot browse using the default/other browsers!

The same is happening to me with LG Optimus 2X!...
No problem with stock ROM so it's not the carrier.
No problem with other apps (Gmail, Twitter, Market) over 3G/HSDPA so it's not the carrier.
No problem with browser over WiFi, so it must be some problem related only to the browser and only over 3G/HSDPA.
ROM is CyanogenMod-7-06202011-NIGHTLY-Optimus2X

I've had my Desire HD for quite some time and I havent had any problems with it so far. About 2 days ago, I noticed that no webpages would load when I was on the Mobile network.
Everything works on WiFi.
When using 3G i can only check my Email and play some online games.
Web browsing doesnt work in either the stock browser or Dolphin HD.
I cant access the Android market or use the Playstation application.
Does anyone know what the problem may be? A hard reset doesnt help!

maybe try to clear the cach on the programs that is causing problems

Might I add that the Dolphin HD was a fresh install and it didnt work....
Do you have the correct APN settings? It does seem like a carrier issue.
I manually configured the settings now and it still doesnt work.
One day it worked, they then it just suddenly stopped!
anyone else have any ideas? ;(
i had a similar issue on CM7. I was messing with settings and still don't know what i changed that affected Internet on 3G.
Turns out that as soon as i changed the APN Type to 'default,supl,mms' it worked again.

I'm using the CyanogenMod 7 for Motorola Defy, everything worked good until last week or so. Suddenly all my Google Apps (Market, Mail, Maps...) don't receive or send any data via 3G. I can browse the web and user other internet related apps, but not the Google Apps. They just work via WiFi.
Does anybody know a solution for that?

I had this before . It was due to my under voltage settings and/or due to wrong ggaps version installed.

Just flashed the Blackout ICS ROM on my phone and I'z loving it.
Problem though is my Whatsapp doesn't send or receive msgs though other apps do.
i have uninstalled and reinstalled it; removed my data manager etc yet it's still the same.

First of all, if you are trying this over 3G, try it over WiFi.
Second, try clearing the data and cache of Whatsapp.
Third, if you are using a firewall app on your phone (such as droidwall), you might be blocking connections to whatsapp.

Everything works via Wifi. the Whatsapp recently connected but twitter failed to connect. seems all of the applications cannot connect simultaneously over 3G. Would habe posted the problem directly in the Balckout ICS DHD thread but i do not have enough posts to make any input in the development section.

So im running the latest leedroid version on my tmobile m9, and im having a weird problem with my wifi connection. Its able to connect with no problem, but everything i try to do with the wifi connection the connection times out. Images wont load in the play store, and when i try to browse the web the connection times out and its the same for all my apps (except the speed test app apparently, because everything is fine when i run it) The problem started when i was running leedroid 7.5.0 out of the blue, so i assume its something i installed or an app gone haywire, but for the life of me i cant find the problem. Hey guys, I already spoke to T-Mobile tech support and they no idea why this is happening to me. I'm experiencing connection time outs when I try to go to reddit.com or 4chan.org, or use apps that browse these websites. YikYak isn't working either. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, CNN, and Gmail are all working fine on LTE.
This problem does't occur when I'm on WiFi. I've checked APNs, reinserted my SIM card, and toggled airplane mode yet this problem still exists. Background data restriction is also disabled.
I am currently using GPE 10.21.2015 5.1 rom as my daily driver, this hasn't happened a month ago. Can anyone help, please?
