I purchased my GS3 almost a month ago and recently ran into some topics that describe different firmware versions. I have baseband version T999UVLEM and the Kernal version looks to say May 22 2012. Is there an update available???

I haven't seen anyone able to update if stock but if you rooted you can flash the new firmware on development section

They did minor bug fixes and a new radio. You can get the radio from the forums here. It's not a problem of being outdated.
I just thought I'd post this since there is no convenient source for this information.
This plugin works well with Firefox.

He said, what is new when the file you posted is the one that was being used for Flash in ICS? Therefore, no need for you to create another thread for your file.
I think that's what he meant.
yes i mean what "aleemz" sad, sorry for how i elaborate the question!
Oh, well what I meant was the latest version of the Flash Player is this at the moment. I just posted this topic for the newbies who wanted to find the latest version easily

I don't understand this whole flash thing & its dissapearance of its support around the interwebs. What will replace it, HTML 5? Is there more HTML 5 on the web than flash at this moment in time, thus the reason for the abandonment.? Wouldn't it have mad sense for continued support until a later date when its replacement was more mainstream & in use.?

Hey guys,
I've read that many of the software features from the S4 are to be ported to the S3 by Samsung as part of an update.
Does anyone have information on when that might happen and if it might be included in custom ROMs?
I'm most interested in AOKP. Thanks

It's still up in the air as far as I know. Individual S4 features have already been ported though.
If your more interested in AOKP then your more interested in AOSP and if that's the case then these TW features being "ported" shouldn't concern you really..

Check the first post of the thread in my sig. It has a list of the current ported S4 features. There are two different section, one for touchwiz and one for aosp roms. Keep in my most are only for touchwiz roms since they require the Touchwiz framework. Also, read the linked post at the beginning for what is fully functioning or not. Yes, the thread is updated frequently so it is accurate.
Edit: just realized that you are on tapatalk so probably cant view my sig, here is the link.. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2206668
Hey guys, ive read in the description on the playstore that gmaps 7 is for 4.0.3+

I am currently downloading it.
If you can not download it yet, just wait. The app is being released step-by-step during the next 2-3 weeks to different regions - Some get earlier than others.
EDIT: Never mind, I got version 6.14.4.
Ive got it.

Any rumors that Samsung is working on an update?
Would be nice if they also implemented floating windows like the S6 and S6 Edge.

The TAB 4 LTE has got 5.1..1 yesterday
So what REAL, verifiable bugs does 5.0.2 have? I'm not talking about YOUR issues with it but what has actually been verified as an issue....
Or is there a thread I missed....

From what I read versions of Lollipop prior to 5.1.1 have the stagefright security bug and a memory leak. There maybe other ones which I just can't remember. I do feel that my T800 on 5.0.2 rooted stock is very stable.
