Hello all,
I can't seem to find anyone with my problem here.
I'm running LeeDrOiD HD v2.3.3 on my Desire HD and recently I noticed that whenever I'm listening to the radio (using stock HTC radio fm application/widget and stock HTC headphones) and I get incoming call I don't hear the ringtone in my headphones. I know it was working fine when I was using Revolution HD (froyo) and RCMix (gingerbread) ROMs.
Funny thing is that when I'm listening to music using standard HTC music player I can hear the ringtone, it just doesn't work with radio. It's really annoying cause my phone is just vibrating in my pocket and I have to guess what's happening.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix it? Just please don't tell me to flash a different ROM as I really like LeeDrOiD
Thanks a lot.

Here is my problem
I am using stock HTC desire Stock ROM (rooted) . Still yesterday I was using built-in Music player (customized by HTC) and everything was working perfectly. I mostly use headphones to listen to songs ( with next/prev/pause from it)
Today I installed the new app Android Music (claimed to be from AOSP 2.3 build) and after installed I realized that it doesn't have lock screen control and headphones control and i uninstalled it.
Now my headphone controls are not working with default Music player. Is there any way that I can get it back ?
Thanks,
UKanth

I had a similar issue. Just uninstalled cubed and that fixed it. May be an issue with having more than one music player trying to use the headphone controls in their own way.
Hope this helps.
cheers.
Hello everyone, I will be short : after few months using my DHD I was using the stock headphones with no problems to answer calls, skip tracks in music player etc...
But since a few days the buttons worked randomly and now even the mic does'nt work so I can hear but we can't hear me.
Of course I did'nt let them fall in my coffe or under a car or whatever, and I tried with many custom rom (full wipe etc..)and also with stock, thats why I ask some help from you.
I looked for few hours in many threads, and found that some users had this after they rooted their phones, I found that HD2 users had this too !! when using android in dual boot so Im 99% sure its a software and not hardware fault, unfornatunaly I did'nt tried to use the headphones on another DHD yet...If I can I give you the results.
THX for your help !
There is a app in the market called headset blocker (widget). Check it out and see if it may be of use.

thx I already tried it it does'nt fix the problem.
Little up for this annoying issue...
I have the same problem with my headphones. they suddenly stoped working. however, my problem is a hardware fault, because the headphones of a friends DHD are working as intended.
I think that yours is a hardware fault too.
I have the same problem, and it's NOT a hardware fault. I don't think yours is either.
The reason for this is that I exchanged and got a fresh pair today. They didn't work! As in, I can listen to music, but not pause or change songs, or talk with the mic. Extremely frustrating.
All this just using the default music player etc.
Yea, mine doesnt work too!!!, it happened as soon as i rooted my phone!!!
the buttons randomly work (i.e. sometimes when i press the buttons, it works, and some times it doesnt. The FF you Rewind the track, the Play could FF the track, etc...) its all random!
I posted a thread before and got no replies!, but its something got to do with the rooting i think. Its not H/W for sure!
I've flashed some ROMs too. It's good (and bad ) to know what im not alone!!
Doesnt anyone have a FIX for this?!
I faced this problem even I did not root my Desire HD. The problem seemed to be solved after I rooted it and flashed the rom ARHD 6.1.5. Unfortunately, I face this problem again now when I tried to flash the rom RCMix3D Runny v4.0. I think this is not a problem of HW but SW tho.
anyone have a FIX for this?!
Damaged pin? That's whats wrong with mine

up for issue! somebody fix it?
I'm wondering if any HTC G2 owners, running CM7 have experienced the same problem as I have.
So I have the most up to date version of CM7 stable.
My G2 runs at 1.3 ghz max. 200mhz minimum.
I have noticed an issue with the speaker, sometimes when I am using the FM radio, sometimes it goes out. The speaker doesn't play the FM radio anymore. I try running the built in music player to play some of my music, and it doesn't play through the speaker. I haven't tried testing the earphones. I toggle with the volume up and down and it works. You hear sound through the speaker, but the radio and mp3 player won't play sound. The only solution that I have found, is to restart/reboot the phone, which can be annoying.
Anyone experiencing this?
Hi All.
I have problem with any headphones, stock from htc, creative etc. When i'm using internet via wifi in left ear i have some quiet noise. Od wifi is turned off everything is fine. I have stock 2.3.3. Someone could check this at own Desire? Any ideas to fix this problem? Thx.
is your headphone working fine with other devices with wifi? (another phone etc)
Yes, and i tested 4 headphones with my Desire, always little noises in left ear.
The same problem here with my desire stock rom 2.3
might be something wrong in hardware. Have you flashed any custom from yet?

Hi, thx for reply. No, didn't flashed, always stock 2.3.3
What rom do You have? Could You test this problem on your Desire?
I've found this on all ROMS I've tried; LeeDroid, MildWild, the various ICS builds (CM9/Sandvold/MIUI-AU) and stock Sense. I also find that I get a very slight popping noise.
To test - in a silent room, play a music track, but turn media volume right down. Pause, and wait for the audio to deactivate; you'll hear the slight hiss stop. Press play, and it'll hiss, then start regular little clicks/ticks/pops.
Happens on all headphones that I've tried, obviously the more sound insulating, the more annoying it is. It's not a problem 90% of the time, but if I'm listening to classical music (most of the time) and there's a pause or a particularly quiet passage, then I can hear it. A disappointment, having come from an iPhone which is just invisible as a music player. Oh well, the Desire has other benefits...
Recently my phone cannot play any sound (notifications, calls, music, *every* sound) thru any of the speakers. When I play a song for example, the audio app still make indication that some music is playing but I cannot get any sound through the back/front speakers or headphones.
I cannot record any sound either. Making a call and the other side hears nothing. Recording app fails to start or it would record nothing.
Anyone knows a fix for this, or any information if this is a hardware or software problem? Thank you!
My HOX is a 3UK branded with HBOOT 1.39, SID H3G__001, RADIO 5.1204.164.30H. I did not put my phone into any silence/vibration/car mode. I did not use any sound mod. I've tried Stock Rom (4.1.1), CM 10.1.2 stable and Sense-based Android Revolution HD 22 but still audio I/O did not work on all of these ROMs.
