[Q] Best Gingerbread Rom - Desire HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey Guys, at the moment i´m using leedroid 2.X (Froyo). Now i´d like to upgrade to gingerbread, which rom is the best? I want a stable version with a good batteryperformance and general performance without many bugs.

sind so gut wie alle schrott.. die meisten sind verbuggt, langsam oder haben zu hohen energieverbrauch
//
if u want the best gingerbread rom with sense:
not existing yet, wait for htc to release 2.3.3 for DHD
if u dont care about sense i could rec. u MIUI or CM7

this gets my vote

MrGaraks MIUI 1.41
Its not the latest version (1.48) but in my opinion its better. Not many bugs either.
Other than that, Rey-619's MIUI (1.48) build is good. CyanogenMod 7 has just been released as stable.
Spike_M's Pure Gingerbread is also worth a look.
Try a few out, only you know what you'll like.

There is Coredroid too. 2.3.3 with sense 2.1 and I like it, no bugs for me.

u must always provide an english translation, well i made some other experiences with 2.3 roms

I love this one and its smooth, saying that I haven't tried many.
It doesn't have sense which is upsetting for me

ah ok thx i will do it next time

I'd recommend CyanogenMod 7 definitely, I'm not really a big fan of sense any more after using the pure android experience.

I agree, CM7 is awesome! There's so many little things running in background on a Sense ROM and I feel like CM7 is a lot more efficient. Battery life is also excellent.

Have used a few of the custom roms mentioned in this thread, but love Mr Garak's MIUI - always found CM to be quite cold and sterile lol

Can't be done as it requires HTC framework files and drivers to work right.

Is there a stable custom-rom for Wildfire S with Sense and ICS ? I kinda like HTC Sense and want to keep it. Or is there any other stable rom`s with Sense ?

Here, just released:

It's nothing cutting-edge (it's Sense 2.1 on GB 2.3.5) but if you like Sense 2.1, give it a try. It's very stable (since you were asking).
Or you could put a few widgets or themes ? There are quite a few Sense-based themes and widgets on Play Store.

Sorry if i'm wrong but couldn't someone just port some of the system apps off the Desire C and make a themed CM9 rom?

[Q] Sense camera

Hi
I've flashed several times pure jb. rom on my hox, (4.2.2) It works very well, but i came allways back to sense, because of camera. The 4.2.2 camera don't works wery well, the panorama, 16:9 ratio, and so on.
Das anybody know such a solution, put sense camera into 4.2.2 rom?

Touchscreen not working

Just flashed MIUI V5 4.4.25 Developer ROM. I'm at the language selection screen and the touch isn't working (hardware keys working)
Install another rom, it's probably because the hboot is to high to support the old touch panel drivers !
If you want the sense 5 based on or just a sense based Miui rom, go to the forum where also some devices are listed in a list then take the first HTC one x one which should be android 4.2 ...that should be the sense 5 based one which also have to work

Fixed it by choosing ported rom instead of developer rom

Best kernel for most effective battery life

any suggestions?
Which rom? For stock its the stock kernel, for AOSP there isn't mich choice ?
