Lg eve rooting

Im really new to this android os can someone please give me like a step by step rooting procedure for dummies for lg eve with rogers or explain how some of this adb and sdk stuff works the more help the better.

[Q] Request: Ubuntu or Like on Desire HD

Hi to all the desire hd's community, first of all i have to say Thank you to all the devs and the community for your hard work!
my question is:
is possible to get a working linux distribution on desire hd?
today i see a backtrack 5 working on SE xperia...so why not on dhd ?
i don't ask a specific distribution but a working linux distro with instruction for execute it...
if it's possible , answer me! Thanks

[Q] Ubuntu Touch

Do we have anyone working on Ubuntu Touch for our phones?
I saw where they had released the porting information. I would love to be able to build these however I am lost when it comes to building roms( I know I need to change my Ubuntu to do so). Thanks for any responses. Also sorry if this is the wrong section or an inappropriate question.

Hello,
I am using Linux Kubuntu 12.04. as OS on my computer and I am trying to root my LG P936 True HD (Nitro HD) with Android 4.0.4.
How can I install correct drivers for this device so it will be recognised by my OS and which is the best method to get root on an easy way?
My english is not so good and an easy description would help me a lot.

There are tons of rooting guides on here, and you should be able to find everything you need via google as far as drivers go..

Any good Tutorial for porting/building a rom?

Hi,
Iam looking for a noob-friendly and a newer Tutorial to build a rom for DHD (should be only for dhd)
I found some Tutorials but theyre for Linux. Iam using Windows, so only TuTs for Windows
Will try my best to build / port a rom for Desire HD
