what case/skins/covers do you have on your ARC?
mines naked but its so fragile im scared to even put it down on certain surfaces, it really really needs protection, would love to see what you guys have on it

Cheers, not really a fan of flip cases tho, more looking at leather slide in pouch mines like what I have on my berry atm.
It's more like what do you prefer, i always used hard cases en moste of the time a soft pouch.

TPU Gel cases worked great for my X10 and I have ordered one for the Arc that should be arriving tomorrow
Did someone find a soft pouch like the one from Nexus One? i like that one
I ordered a white/transparent gel case from ebay and it fits nice, but the flash of the camera is unusable because the photo's with flash will have a white layer..
I guess it's the same problem like the white iphone 4.

I don't use any protective skins on the screen even though SE bundles one as it reduces reponsiveness (or so I've experienced with my GFs X8, my Nexus One and others). It also adds too much resistance for my liking.
I don't use a case or pouch either. It's just too much of a hassle to drag it in and out. Some semi-hard cases scratch the phone after many inserts and pull outs and then you're back to square one.
If it gets a ding or a scratch, who cares? It's may be worth a bit less when I sell but I can't be bothered about that. It's more important that when I use it it both looks it's best (and that means no skins) and that its ready to go the second it's out of my pocket, and that means no case or pouch.

i got this 1 too, maaaan its bad, sent a message to the seller - the phone doesnt fit, its too saggy, phone falls out of it - id ask for a refund but too much hassle for 2quid lol

Well, I just got this case today. It comes in black or white. I got the black one. I'd post pictures but my grandkids are here and I won't be able to do it until tomorrow.
My mini-review:
Pros:
Fit and Finish is beautiful.
Very light. Case and Tablet weighs 1lb 12.6ozs
Very thin.
(Added) The edges of the screen are not covered. Like the Samsung case there are 3 clips to hold the TAB. I don't like the way most ofthe other cases cover the border of the screen with "PU" or leather.
Cons:
TOO EXPENSIVE. It may be "worth" $85 + shipping for it's quality but for what it is it's just too much money
TOO EXPENSIVE
"Stand" is only a single position and the way it works is you have to unsnap the bottom half of the tablet from it's perfectly fitting snap on cover and rest it on the "latch" that holds locks the case closed. I have to believe that eventually the snaps will lose their tension and not tightly hold the Tablet. May be wrong there but it seems to be.
Must be opened to access USB connection.
TOO EXPENSIVE
I have six months to return it so I'm not worried.

I looked at that case but since it was seemingly 2x as thick and made from "synthetic leather" (either plastic or "PU" not sure which) I chose the other. I probably would prefer the Samsung over that one since the Samsung is very thin and lite. Also don't like the "hand strap" since it reminds me of a ping-pong paddle.
However if the quality is just as good it would be a good alternate choice for those who don't mind the thicker vinyl case.
Cut the price in half and I'll buy.

I sent it back for a refund. Too expensive and required "unsnapping" the bottom 2 clips holding the TAB to "stand" it.
Well made and excellent fit and VERY light .... but not worth it to me.

Aw, that's kinda upsetting. It sure looked like a nice case, and for some reason I'm a sucker for carbon fiber styling, but it's sad to hear about those downsides.
If nothing else, thanks for being a guinea pig on that! It was hard enough to justify that kind of money on a simple case even if it was perfect. The USB slot issue is the killer, really.

How did you go about sending it back for a refund. I'm about to do the same with mine. My initial impressions were that it was a good case but after having it a couple days I'm ready to return it and get something cheaper that is probably a better quality.

I purchased through Amazon. I went into my Amazon account and sent the "seller" a message, They have a 14 day return policy. You can also contact them through their website but if you purchased from Amazon you should email through there as Amazon keeps records of the contacts and you are protected.

BTW, it was NOT carbon fiber, it's a vinyl fabric.
These Zenus cases look pretty slick, but also very pricey. What other cases do you all recommend?

Doesn`t look tight I love super slim and tight cases which do not increase overall size too much.
They seem to do a pure suede one, a pure nappa one, and a Alcantara one too.
You probably can't say much for the Alcantara one, but having got your half suede half Nappa one, whats your opinion of what might be the best? Pure Nappa, Pure Suede or half n half like yours?

I like the mix one because it isn't shiny on the top side when it's on a surface and the suede has a lovely feel to it.
I got the alcantara version of the pouch and it fits perfectly like a glove around my Nexus.

I'll definitely post some when it arrives, shipped a coupla days ago. I'm ordered the suede one, but after receiving the GN i'm thinking full leather might have been better. Its so thin that the slight extra thickness vs the extra protection is probably worth it.
Yeah, the full leather or at least the fusion one would probably be more protective than the full suede one. I really don't know why people need cases when there are great pouches like these. I'd never change the experience of a bare naked phone to one with a case.

Just purchased this plastic case from china costing me less than USD 0.50, this case look very similar to the samsung original slim case posted in other threads.
Some members actually say cheap stuff is never good, I think otherwise, I think this is better than the samsung version, as the samsung one does not cover the whole rim of the phone.
Anyway this case has a perfect fit that protects the whole rim of the SGS3 apart from the bottom part as seen in the photo's which is need to insert and remove the phone from the case.

Same here; looked on ebay and I didn't find the same.
As stated in the first post I got it fom china, there is no link.
This is the very type of case I usually end up leaving on my phone, it's scratch protection, super minimalist.
Grip is usually nice, it's snug, form fitting. Judging by your pictures, it's cut out are precise.
One doubt is the sudden missing bottom front portion, wonder what for.. Is there actually a piece of the case going into the usb port?
I would definitely buy these at even twice their price
EDIT: ebay search "i9300 tpu ultra slim or thin" comes up with 2 similar styles.
The material is flexi plastic, and the fit is like perfect, so without the bottom part rim removed it's not possible to put and remove the phone from the case.
The samsung version doesn't have this, but the case only covers only half of the rim on all sides, members with the samsung case will know what I mean.

I bought the white one but have since decided to sell it away because I've finally decided to use my HTC One with a pouch instead of hiding its beauty behind a cover =)

Well, I guess we just have different preferences :laugh:
I've got one in black and its an awesome case, i'd say a better fit and more durable than the casemate cases too.
Two questions before I buy this case:
1) Is there a cut out for the power button or is there an actual button on the case for it?
2) Do these hard shells not damage the phone at all?
Absolutely love this case. Almost looks like the phone was made that way. Doesn't offer the best protection, but if you just care about protecting the back, this is of the best and best looking.

1. its a cut out, look at the ebay post to see more photos
2. i THINK these are high quality plastic, it should not damage the phone
I too have a white nillkin case and their grey flip.
Only problem with the flip is the case is too close to the headphone port, so I have a kld oscar 2 on back order to fix this.
Plus I love the black monolith look, reminds me of the film 2002 a space odyssey.

Hey there guys Cruzerlite is back! They had awesome cases for the Nexus 4 and I plan on getting the black one for my (soon to ship) Nexus 5

I got a few of the bugdroid cases ordered. Can't wait. I have loved my evo lte case since it dropped, dropping it hundreds of times. Cheap and good basic protection.
I ordered a teal bugdroid one. It shipped yesterday from Hong Kong. I wonder how long it'll take to get here.
Ordered a green Androidified for the wifey and a Spi case for me.
I ordered the clear bug droid. I have yet to be disappointed with a Cruzerlite case:good:.

I got a Bugdroid for my N5. Fits like a glove. Love it. Been using Cruzerlite since my Galaxy Nexus.

How well do these cases protect the front?
How about a drop that lands on an edge?
They only show the back of the phone, not any front pics.
Anyone have a pic of the front with the case on?
Edit: Since its buy 2 get one free I ordered one of the armor ones and two different color smaller ones. Lots of choices now. The phone kinda ugly and looks fragile so having a case or three is important to me.

There's a video review on Amazon. The guy seems to think it will "definitely" protect the phone from a fall... not sure how definite that is, but it seems well built albeit very thin.

I ordered the tpu in teal yesterday and plan on getting the spigen screen protector. I love my nexus 5 but I do not trust myself until its behind a case and screen protector
Ordered the green androidfied. First time using Cruz elite so hoping it'll be thin and nice.
