Hi. I heard froyo has been released for nexus. Does that mean it will soon be available for desire as custom Rom?
just read the other posts befor starting a new thread...
And post this in the general section, you are polluting what could otherwise be a productive development space.
FroYo to Desire port - Status
Best to make a thread now... When anyone hears any news of a Desire FroYo port being made please post in this thread.

Duplicate ideas/requests?
This isn't a duplicate of anything on the Desire forum so please stop clogging my thread with your self-righteousness.

self-righteousness? nah pal, i'm not stupid, that what it boils down to. read previous posts regarding froyo before asking such stupid questions.
failing that buy a nexus son

Get off your high horse and get out of this thread.
This isn't a request thread, merely a place for people to post news of FroYo ports.
On a side note...
Paul has given an ETA for a Desire port! Next week according to his twitter.
lmao - another helpful thread.

What exactly do you want from me? You seem to be stalking my posts just to make self righteous comments.
Please, leave me alone.
I know you are all excited about 2.2, I am too.
I was about to start porting Paul's Nexus version but decided to come here first in order to know if it has been done and end up reading lots of non-sense.
You can have threads like this in the general section and when there is a port it will be published in its own thread, can we stick to development relevant posts here? There aren't many desire developers, we don't want to push them away with misplaced content.

Can this really have been ported only 12 hours after release, paul at Modaco has already said next week for a Desire port.
Posting links to files that are for the wrong phone is going to pi$$ off an awfull lot of people when they start bricking their phones.
Pretty certain that link is not to a Desire port.

Why would you want to keep the questions and answers to yourself? Thats going directly the other way as this forum was ment to be used.
Put your questions here as that is what this forum is ment for. If anyone else has the same question they can find it too.
And you could also search for your questions, but i guess you already know that.
Yea, thats what i should do
I will update my op with questions \m/

Hi,
I'm trying to install the new Android HD 11.1 on my VZW HTC ONE M8, but wifi isn't working.
There's a post on the development forum relating to repacking the AHD.zip with older verizon kernel modules, but since I've posted less than ten posts elsewhere, I'm not allowed to reply in the thread.
Is anyone else trying to install this ROM on their VZW M8?

Why not pm the dev or any user there who can help you ?
You have to use the new boot.img from the Ota because the one on the rom is the old one and I can say once you do that it should work
And you have to post questions in the Q&A section, that's what it's made for !
Edit :
Fixed....thread = moved

I don't know, I've seen a lot of devs with signatures that state "Don't PM me asking for solutions..." Generally they stick to a simple "If you PM me with a problem then others won't see the solution to it either". So it needs to be discussed in forums... Understandable perhaps, if it's in the forums others could help as well and they won't have thousands of PMs with the same ridiculous questions.

Maybe make a thread in the Verizon Q&A section asking for help? You can then perhaps just give a shout out to the developer in question and maybe he'll head over there to read and help out. @dangerweenie << @ whatever the developers name is.
They don't really want a lot of questions and troubleshooting related problems to be discussed in the developer sections, that's what the Q&A sections are for. Those forums are strictly for discussing developer related issues.
