Help.. revoked3 not detecting device

Guys I am trying to re root my device using the revoked method, however I am having a great deal of issues with it. I have the drivers installed when it the HBOOT it can see its using the android 1.0 driver... perfect. Reboot and then nothing it just wont detect my phone... I have USB debbuging on but nothing.
I have read so many threads... I just cant see what I am doing wrong... While I am rooted I am really just trying to reflash my phone... if anyone has any handy tips I am all ears.
Erm.... Reflash using unrevoked .... Fail.
Unrevoked is a rooting program and once your rooted you can't use it on a rooted rom. You need an unrooted rom.
What are you trying to do?

Just install the latest OTA- Update for your Phone. Root should be removed then.

Just pick the right one from here, that should work:

Get Recovery manager from the market and use it to install ClockworkMod.
You can then boot to recovery and use ClockworkMod to flash the rom of your choice
welll lot of answers...
did you only check if the command adb devices gives you a reply ???
it should be otherwise would let heard that there is some other issue by the way.

Cwm only flashsble through adb? Rom manager Supported?

I have a new hox came rooted from guy I got from but looks like he didn't finish inatalling cwm. On htc I'm useD to flashin cwm through rom man .. is it complicated? ARE we gonna see rom manager Support for cwm soon?
I used reboot app to try recovery mode and it took me to android with red triangle .. assuming means no cwm?

ROM Manager is a crap program, you're better off learning how to do it yourself via fastboot

Download the latest version of Clockword and use the fasboot command fastboot flash recovery recovery.img To ensure it's correctly installed. You then have the option to flash a custom rom.
Alternatively if you want to revert to stock then boot into fastboot-usb and run the RUU.
Ya I'm familiar with adb
One other idea if anyone is familiar with term emulator, I remember rooting and all that via term emulator on my old htc mytouch 4g
Is it possible the command strings could be done that way via terminal emulator to get the cwm on the phone and if so
What would the command be
That would be cool for people who don't have access to a pc

[Q]

Hi...I'm new to this forum...so before asking my question...
Recently just S-Off my HTC Wildfire S A510e "Marvel"...just install CWM ad after Flashing CWM, turn off phone to go into recovery to do install CWM....just when I enter Bootloader...go down to go onto Recovery when I press the power button to select it...the phone goes to the White HTC Screen....and my screen goes black after that....and the 4 navigation keys are light up...
So does it means that the phone entered Recovery Mode and how do I solve that problem with that black screen....??
Would really appreciate help from someone....:fingers-crossed:

Can I use it to install custom roms as when I flash it with CWM 5.0.2.8 that's when my screen turns black so after getting this I flashed it with the
OTA_Marvel_S_HTC_Europe_2.26.401.3-2.13.401.3_release_2617117
extracted the Firmware.zip and renamed it to PG76IMG.zip and it updated my HBoot to 1.09.0099 which was previously 1.08.0000.

Phone is already S-Off and bootloader unlocked...it only when I flash with CWM 5.0.2.8 that I get a black screen...but the 4 navigation keys are still lighted up..what does it means?? and when I revert back to stock I can then access recovery but not with all the functions...:crying:
Try relocking (using rezo609's all in one tool) then try flash CWM using the same tool. If it works then test it but if it doesn't flash try reunlock using the tool and flash again. Let me know the results

Lol!
I'm still on clockworkmod myself, I've gotta give 4ext a go sooner or later as everyone says it's better. I've left my recovery as is since I first rooted the phone and its always done everything I need. I just avoid using things like sd partitioning as I know it has issues.

Try to go to recovery manually instead of going through the recovery via the menu on rom manager. You will probably boot with the new recovery. But yeah go with 4EXT Recovery its time you use something way better.

It does not really let me do anything it just asks if I want to continue with the update or not I cant do anything else.
Have you flashed a recovery? It sounds like you aren't in a recovery but are in the bootloader.

No custom rom, cant boot into cwm recovery, and i believe the zip is still on my sd card
this may be a stupid question but did I need to do anything with the vhwk files like I did on my first dinc2? I never used those files this time because I was thinking the process was different with the taco root method.
If you've gone through Tacoroot and Revolutionary (which it appears you have) and have installed CWM, you still need to install SU. You can't select Recovery from HBoot? You may need to move the P32IMG.zip files from the root of your SD card and reboot. It should allow you into Recovery to flash SU.
