If you are talking about what I think you are - there is a thread located here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=872222
It is obviously a little more work than just changing what it says, but it can be done.
Yup I used mystery's guide to change mine.
If you have the AOSP Lock screen mod it also shows up on there.

no the SlideMeRoot 5r1 but you mighty need ubuntu that's what i used. first rename the rom i just added 2 at the end
in ubuntu i deleted a fie in the bin folder (logwarpper) from SMR5r1 rom
flash the rom (renamed) then flash the regular rom (no wipe)
note: download the regular rom and put on SD first
EX: slideMeRood5r1 regular
SlideMeRoot5r2 renamed
hope im clear sorry
Eh, don't do all of that. Just change your Theme (press your menu key at the desktop screen, then select "MyModes", then "Change my Theme") to Nest. It already has the bubbles removed on the latest Slidemeroot5, but the theme has to be Nest. You can change the background after you change to that theme.
I only removed it on the Default theme, as I knew people was going to say ( But, I liked the Bubbles!! )

I'm not sure how anyone can like the bubbles... they're so obnoxious. Makes the screen too cluttered-like, but what do I know - all personal preference I guess.

the stock nest theme is in system/framework its com.htc.resources.apk.. you can pull this from one of his slidemeroms and push it to your rom and itll have them removed. If you want to do it the hard way, you pull that file from your phone, open it up, all the png files in it that say container in the name are the bubbles. replace bubbles with a blank icon named the same.

Is there a flashable zip to return the rosie back to STOCK? The Rosie I have is "expresso" with modifications (far left button being remapped to Internet). Can anyone point me in the right direction as to how to revert this back?
thanks in advance

Might want to check the original thread for that particular mod:

Yes...I'm aware of that mod---but how do u disable it?--I also dont want the expresso Rosie---I want the stock Rosie

The reason I cited that thread is that (I'm fairly certain) I saw a stock Rosie available for flashing. It was posted somewhere in the in the middle of the thread.

Hmmm, sorry about that. I know I've seen a stock Rosie flash on one of those threads. If I run across it, I'll let you know.
You could always roll-your-own pretty easily. Just download one of the mods from the thread I posted, download a ROM with a stock Rosie, unpack and switch the Rosie from the ROM for the one in the mod. Flash and should be good (Nandroid first just in case, of course).
I too would like a flashable zip that would revert to stock rosie.
i.e. from myn's warm rosie to stock rosie.

Wow...ok---can someone at least tell me then how to pull a stock Rosie from another ROM and then insert it in the ROM I have now? (step by step please---I am willing to learn---but maybe unfamiliar with the terms)
thanks

Peace HoneyBfly,
sent you a PM---question tho---do you know if it will change the ROM that I have? I currently am trying out Calk's ROM and its so heavily modded that I'm worried it will change the mods that he already has on there.

Does Calk's ROM uses color menus? If so, yes...it changes the MENU where it reads all apps, scenes, wallpaper, notifications, settings & Add to Home to the standard gray other than that no. This is strictly the Stock Rosie APK all zipped up so that it can be flashed.
I would suggest you do a NAND Backup 1st of your ROM and then flash the ZIP, see if there were any changes and if not...YIPEEEE!! But if you don't like it, you can always restore.

Hey J...I can definitely say it works because I have flashed this myself. The only thing that will change is the color menu on the main screen if you are on one of the ROMS that has it. Color icons are easy to put back in though. I'm a NOOB but figured out most of this stuff on my own.
Still waiting to TEST this---I think before I flash this I need to UNHACK the mod Calk placed on his Rosie---to avoid my phone going into bootloops. He has modded the far right key modded to be the internet. Does anyone know if there is a way to remove this mod ?

I really need help to know how to change the mobile-work name T-Mobile to other words.
Could anyone know the way plz?
Think you change the build prop file in the main file system.
You need root to edit this.

You mean in your lockscreen and status bar, there reads "T-Mobile" and you wanna change it to something else? Sure! As said above you need to be rooted, if you are, download this app and your ready to go.
Also there is an option in CyanogenMod rom(7.2 and later I believe) to change the carrier name.

Well,I wanna make it work via rooted stock rom.
Thx sir!
Okay so i am wondering is there a way to change the carrier name on a stock or custom ROM, Ive already tried the QPST, and CDMA WS Methods and neither work weather it be the stock ROM or a custom ROM.
.
On the stock ROM the carrier name is blank when in CDMA Mode, except when i switch to GSM only it shows T-Mobile, and on all of the custom roms it only shows my MCC and MNC ie 310012.... is there a way to modify this that i haven't thought of?
Do you want to change the banner?
Or do you want to change your network provider?

yes i am looking to change the carrier name on the lock screen and notification curtain, i've already Provisioned the Device to Cricket....seeing how their 3G is faster than VZW in my area...

yea i would prefer to do it on a stock ROM, due to the fact that most of the custom roms Ive tried don't have the ability to switch to GSM on the fly

It depends on your ROM. With CM7 access is under
Settings - CyanogenMod settings - interface - status bar tweaks
I found a way to do it in terminal emulator on my old OG Droid a long time ago. Good keyword for your search is "carrier banner"
Good luck!

As the title suggests, is there anyway to change what the carrier name says on the lock screen and on the drop down notification window? I've searched around but can't find a lot.
Thanks.

No I don't think so mate.
The carrier name is set by your network values.
So if your on "Orange" for example, there is no way for you to change it to say "O2".
I'm using Leedroid V6.4.0, and in the Tweaks section I can change the carrier caption or hide the carrier name
yeah you can on viper rom as well, just use venom tweaks to change it
can even add the carrier logo if you wanted
