Cool, check mine out, we need all the cheap options we can get.

Red Green would be proud. I just might have to do this as I need a gooseneck type mount for my car and I cannot find one like the one you got (ECdOc) in a gooseneck style.
Why not use epoxy or JB Weld? No tape to come loose and you can file it down and paint it to look factory.

Here's my Thunderbolt car mount. I am using a Breffo Spiderpodium which allows you to hook up the phone to the vents or any other part of the car you want.

It's not a permanent mount, but it is nice for trips.

I picked one up last week, I really like its versatility. I use it on my desk at work and if I take a company car I simply take it and use it as a mount in the car.
I used to have that exact head unit.
Just bought two after seeing this. One for my Thunderbolt and one for my G Tablet. Nice find.

Use a suction cup and a piece of object that is just enough to fit through the hole for it, you get a kick stand for cheap
Works in portrait and landscape of course!

You make my day, terrific!
Awesome
Awesome idea haha thanks
So i made one of these to use and then just the other night i was at bad bath and beyond and they had something really similar to it for $0.99 ROFL
That, is ingenious! :highfive:
amazing li'l hack. S**w those $20 cases..
I'm in Germany on vacation and I've been picking up every case that I can for my s3. So far this belkin dual layer bumper is really nice for the level of protection it offers. It comes two in a pack for $18 euros. The case is a two piece rubber and plastic outer. I usually hate everything belkin but I think they made a good case for someone who wants good protection but wants to show off their phone.

GIF showing rotation: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v313/genejo/IGG_8_HoldPhoneVideo3_3277_zps1a015d9a.gif
Watch the video--it's such a seamless product. It uses a rare earth magnet--won't interfere with radio, BT, NFC, or Qi charging. The piece on your phone is just thin piece of steel--the magnet is in the mount. The mount slips into your CD slot or can be dismounted and used as a stand, or use the blades to wedge between a thin space, or remove the blades and it attaches to a standard tripod mount!
Just got two on Indiegogo--way excited!
If you travel on trains, busses, or planes with Seatback trays, this is for you.
Now on Delta it fits perfectly. On united I had to use extra force. Basically the wire hangs on the securing mechanism for the Seatback tray.
Anything bigger than a n7 won't fit. It works great with my moko case on too.
The rotating part works well and will tighten up.
Confirmed compatible on Delta, Amtrak, and United Airlines.
