How Do I flash to stock 2.2

Hello everyone,
Just need a little advice.
A while ago, I rooted using the gold card and flashed to the stock 2.1.
I now want to flash to the official stock 2.2.
Just wondering whether I need to create a new gold card, is the process difference as I have already rooted. Do I need to re-root and flash, if so, how ?

Right, I've done a little searching. I think I need the generic 2.2 rom with super user access. I currently have generic 1.15.405.4 with 0.75 HBOOT. I can't any link to generic 2.2 super user access rom ?

Update: I have downloaded r6 from modaco, there it said I need to be able to launch custom recovery image. Fine, I downloaded fake flash, I'm able to launch fake flash but what next. I can't have two files with the name update.zip on the sd card (one fro fake flash and the other the actual rom) or am I missing something?

Ok, I have managed to locate the zipdate. I think it flasshed it, but when I reboot it's stuck on a black screen with "android" in blue.
Any help!

[Q] Can´t upgrade my DHD from 1.32

hey guys, i had a rooted phone and downgraded it to 2.2 (1.32.405.6) stockrom.
but i can´t upgrade from that.
want to sell my phone and got stuck at stockrom without being able to upgrade.
any ideas?

Attempting an OTA upgrade, or can't you flash the latest RUU?

i kept it rooted, was easier for me

Shouldn't flashing one of these reset everything to factory default and get you updated to 2.3.3?
Just to be clear I've never done this and I don't know if the site is trustworthy.

[Q] Rooting Desire HD

Hey all,
Just want to know if someone can point me in the right direction.
I am following this guide guide but when it comes round to using the Visionary app it freezes and wont do anything.
I have tried temp rooting from boot and also with the phone fully running but still nothing.
I have not updated it, it is showing as ver. 2.2 despite the notice that the update is available to download.
If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

Have you downgraded the ROM? Visionary only works on build 1.32 Froyo. If you are already on 1.32 then a factory reset normally fixes most Visionary problems.

I take it you mean the ROM that comes with the phone? The android version I have showing is ver. 2.2.1.
If I need to downgrade to ver. 1.32 how would be the best way to go about it?

I was trying to root my Desire Z (originally running 2.3.3) and managed to downgrade in order to try and install Android Revolution.

Hello Guys ,
I am new to android world and not really expert at installing roms , rooting and stuff.
Can u guys guide me how to step by step install the latest Cyanogen Mod on my Unlocked HTC ONE M8 and how to freeze or have a recovery copy of my original software that is already installed incase I need to get back to it.
