Hi,
GPS worked fine with the stock ROM. I flashed revolution 2.0.16 and 3.0 and GPS worked, but my phone kept rebooting. So I switched to Raidroid Stockify 1.84 and the GPS doesn't work. It tunrns on, but then doesn't find any satellite (in the open of course).
I tried cold boot, I tried GPS Status, nada.
Could it be the ROM not matching my country? Or should I flash a newer radio also (which one?)? Any other reason?
Regards

i cant turn on bluetooht it thinks and then doesnt start.
i had been running CM7 rc1 when i noticed so i nandroided back to villain rom 0.9 where it also didnt work, i flashed starburst rom still no bluetooth
tried flashing different kernels from the villain rom i had. -- no luck,
then realised that its down to radios so i tried reflashing the latest radio and RIL, still no bluetooth.
i have now flash a radio which is a few older but still no bluetooth.
could this be to do with the data2ext which i have recently started using?
anyone know how to rectify this?
I started out with a Vodafone AU
Firmware 1.85.861.3 CL331649
Radio 12.28.h.60.140fU_26.06.02.27_M
Then I flashed CM7 - didn't take not of the radio version but location stopped being found on google maps etc.
so flashed Virtuous 1.0.2 which uses radio 12.28b.60.140eP_26.03.02.26_M
still no location found.....
I tried flashing radio 12.28h.60.140fP+26.06.02.27_M and leaving Virtuous 1.0.2 on, still nothing...
Don't have a backup of my original vodaphone stock firmware but I guess I could flash a 1.34 stock or something... I'm on my ~5th flash today though and I'm running out of patience. is there something I'm missing that stops the location function working?

I ended up putting CM7 back on (which uses 12.28.h.60.140fU_26.06.02.27_M by the way, didn't know that until the 2nd time I flashed it) and it works fine now, I guess wiping the phone enough times got rid of the EFS data?
I was running the new cm7.1 rc1 rom, and I suddenly noticed the gps had stopped working. Just says "searching for gps", and the gps icon blinking.
I then tried to wipe all, and I flashed with the latest nightly of cm7. Still not working.
Today I tried flashing another radio and ril, still not working.
Currently I`m running Cyanogenmod 7-08202011-nightly desire with radio 32.54.00.32U_5.14.05.17
Can anyone help me?
I can't get gps to work on any custom roms I install on my HTC DESIRE HD. The symbol comes on at the top when I enable and gps status ap shows that it is on, but it will just wont lock onto any satelites no matter how long i leave it on. Gps only seems to works on stock rom. I have tried loads of different gps.configs from this forum, even tried the stock rom config, Cleared AGPS updated AGPS without any luck.
Phone is rooted with bootloader unlocked.
current rom - CyanogenMod 11 by Mustaavalkosta
hboot 2. 00.0029
radio - 26.14.04.28.m
flashing with clockworkmod 5.8.0
S-on
stock rom DHD WWE 3.12.405.1 running android 2.35
I don't want to revert back to the stock rom, but I need my gps. Also the CyanogenMod seems to work best on my handset.
My first post so go easy on me
Any help much appreciated

Hi
My tablet is Galaxy SM-P605 (Note 10.1 2014 edition 4G)
In order to go back to a StockROM (4.4.2) from the custom ROM (4.4.4),
I flashed the stockrom (XSA-P605XXUCNJ2 ROM) via Odin,
but it failed at the point of hidden.img.ext4.
Tried again to flash with another StockROM (BTU-P605XXUCNL1),
It went on well and passed successfully.
All other functions working perfect
(even fixing some malfunction or bugs with the custom rom 4.4.4),
but unfortunately with GPS it's not since experiencing the failure of flash.
GPS Status & Toolbox App proves that my GPS doesn't get any tracing of satellites.
I wish to know whether the GPS is dead or locked.
Is there a possibility to revive it if not damaged.
I've done to re-flash into the original stockrom in order to restore the original state,
but it also didn't help at all.
Any help or suggestion would be welcomed.
N.B.:
I've just installed Schischu's Android Lollipop 5.02 ROM.
Hooray!
GPS function began to work, though its signal still weak.
Not tested for Navigation driving, yet
but hope it could good enough to run.
N.B. 2:
I've re-flashed back to StockROM (BTU-P605XXUCNL1),
now my GPS function is fully working!!!
With Lollipop ROM, GPS function was restored to find 2-3 satellites,
but now 12 - 15 satellites with Samsung StockROM.
