Any Roms as solid as CM6 for the EVO?

The only 2 I've tried are MIUI and CM. Any recomendations

If you don't want Sense, probably not. I'm currently running the CM6 + Wimax alpha, which I really like.
As far as Sense ROMs go, Calkulin's EViO is my favorite.
FWIW, you're probably better off asking these kinds of questions in the Q&A forum.

I am also running alpha2. Mikfroyo is my fav sense rom. Sooperfast feel.

CM7 Nightlies are coming out tonight. You could try one of those once the first EVO build drops.

I seemed to have nothing but problems with CM6. There was a lot of churn with the different versions of ClockWork recovery, but even when I used RA Recovery I still had issues. I finally gave up and switched to VaelPak 3.0 with the netarchy 4.1.9.1 Kernel and all is well. Seems to be a solid combo for me at least.

On a semi related note will cm6 themes be compatible with cm7?

I seriously doubt it. There have been a lot of changes to framework.res

Caulkins roms are ungodly stable

I doubt it's been incorporated into the new kernel(s) yet.

Agree that Calkulin's ROMs are very stable. He cooks some very nice ROMs. He is pretty reliable about updates and addressing issues. EViO line of ROMs are quick and they are stable. Have had the pleasure of using Cal's kitchens back in the WinMo days...he is one of the best!!

First off, wrong forum. This belongs in Q&A.
Second, this is all but insulting. There are at least 5 good ROMs on every page. Click on some and look at them. Are you too lazy to do the work yourself?
Finally, here are a list of ROMs that are all very good ROMs in my opinion. I hate to even respond to someone who's too lazy to do their own work, but I think the devs deserve credit for making other VERY GOOD ROMs:
Salvage 0.9.6 <-- My current, 2.3, most stable ROM I've ever used
Myn's Warm RLS5
MIUI
Evervolv is ok
Frost is great, but needs to be updated

stock sense 2.0 roms?

hey i was wondering if there are any 2.0 roms with a stock look? all of them have themeing and custom functions. custom functions arent a big deal to me because some of them are nice. i was just mainly wondering if there are any 2.0 roms that look stock.

Only problem with that is that it hasn't been updated for a long time with all of the fixes. I for one would love to see a stock sense 2.0 ROM. As I like the stock HTC theme. One reason I love the Incredible S port. It's not 100% functional yet, but it hasn't been modified like crazy.
It wouldn't be so bad if we could reinstall the HTC Skin, but the ROM's themes are always based on it. So you can change the skin to others, but not the stock HTC one.

i tried that desire z rom but i couldnt get connected to a mobile network. tried to flash it a couple times with no luck

So do any of these desire z rom have option to remove most of sense llike some of the evo and incredible roms? or is there a desensitize script somewhere I missed.

I have a droid incredible and i love it. I have used cyanogenmod for longest time and i miss the htc sense. I have tried some Sense 2.0 roms and i love them... Anybody know about any new and current sense 2.0 roms? say with frequent updates and lots of support? tired of looking for roms that are over a year old. Thanks!

I'm on Uber Z right now. It's pretty sweet. The only things I would change are part of the notification toggles and the gradient effects. Otherwise..... one of the best ROMs I've tried

well it's ready stability wise not aesthetic wise though and i don't want to release until i get you some surprise in aesthetics i have some pretty sick plans but they are all surprises lol.

thats not a sense 2.0 rom but it works well

Best and most stable sense 2.0 Rom is optimized Z. Defiantly worth checking out.

optimized z try it you'll love it

optimized z forsure unless someone gets sense 3.0 working or alot of new things start showing up im probably just gonna stick with optimized z.. this is honestly one of the best, smooth, fast ROm i have used

i tried it and after a while it kept rebooting on me so i uninstalled...

I had several issues with Optimized Z, but Incredibly Re-Engineered Z has been rock solid the last two days.

I just installed Stock Sense 2.0 after getting tired of bugs in MIUI, I love it so far. It seems really smooth and stable, way better than the stock ROM for Incredible. I don't understand why people think the original is faster, so many conflicting opinions!
The other Sense 2.0 ROMs look good but I always dislike other people's theming choices, currently using the slate HTC skin and I think it looks great.

[Q] Incredible 2 Broken and Rooted

Hey all, my incredible 2 got damaged by a car running over it, but is still slightly functional. I have to send it back now that they sent me a new one. is there anything special I need to do so they wont know I rooted it like factory reset or is it something more? Also, I am looking for a ROM of either Sense or Sense with little alteration, anyone got any suggestions?
Scratch that I found how to unroot but anyone know of a good Sense ROM?

My favorite ROM. I try new ROMs often, but they can't pull me off of SkyRaider. Virtuous Affinity is awesome for people who like Sense 3.5. You also can't beat nitsuj17's ROMs.

[Q] Which fast Sense ROM for incredible 2?

So,
My GF has an Incredible 2 and she wanted to use WIFI tethering (without paying extra, of course). So, being new to the whole Android thing (I actually don't have an Android phone yet.. in LL3 waiting for my Nexus 4, but that's a different story) I put CM7 on the phone as I had heard good things about it. Problem was, she didn't like the looks of it as she was really used to the HTC Sense theme. So, I then looked for a sense themed ROM, and finally installed "CM9 Kang" (I think). While she is happy with the looks and features, the phone is terribly slow. I guess the hardware is just too old to handle an ICS based ROM..
So I'm asking you, what ROM do you suggest for the Incredible 2 that is stable, fast, and has a "sense-like" theme?

Thanks, I assume you are referring to this ROM? As it is also ICS based, is it not laggy on the Incredible 2? I don't feel like installing another ROM and then my GF complaining again
