I was running on eb01 then flashed to ec16 because I was trying to fix a problem I was having with my google browser only when my wifi was on. Now Im stuck on the blue screen that says "Android system recovery<2e>" at the top with "Samsung Recovery Utils -for BML-" below it. With the green Android Dude along with a caution sign in a triangle in the middle of the screen. And # MANUAL MODE # in written in yellow letters at the bottom. I can't get back to the CWM recovery screen. Can you please help I'm new if you couldn't tell. I'm trying to flash ec10 with Frankenclean and a good Honeycomb theme. I will donate via paypayl to someone who can walk me through to that setup.

I try updating my Galaxy Nexus phone running ICS (4.0.4) to the new Jelly Bean (4.1.1).
When looking for new updates it finds the new version, downloads it and checks it. Afterwards I pressed "Restart & Install", the phone shuts down and restarts. I see the Android mascot with a blue shape spinning in front of it and a progress bar below it.
It fills up until about one third and then disappears. The Android mascot appears again this time lying on its back with a red triangle containing a black exclamation mark (!) above its torso (refer screen shot error.jpg).
Afterwards the phone restarts and the Android version is still the old one.
I have attached a screen shot of my system info (Screenshot_2012-07-28-20-14-29.jpg).
Request guidance to do this update. Thanks in advance.

It is failing because something on your device is not stock. Kernel? Radio? Some file you changed? Some file one of your root apps changed? You will either need to look through your logcat to see where it failed, OR, use CWM to install it and it will tell you where it is failing.
Hi all, today I used cw to load a screen rotation mod from Calkulin.... Everything seemed fine after that so I tired to boot into clockwork again to do a backup and it brings up a screen with a green android and under that it says "Downloading... Do not shut off device" It just hangs on that screen until I reboot the phone!
Any ideas what I can do to fix this?
Thanks in advance,
Mike

Hi,
My sister has a acer a100 tablet for some time now, and suddenly it won't boot, it's just stuck on the acer logo. The device is not rooted.
I've tried just about everything I could find on the internets. When I go into stock recovery, an android with a red triangle appears together with some yellow text mostly saying it couldn't mount anything, after a while I get the recovery option, but am unable to select anything, I can toggle between them, but pressing the power button doesn't do anything.
I've also tried some fastboot tricks I found, but no luck.
I don't know if she was installing some firmware update and then shut it off (she says no), so I don't really know which android version she has.
I hope someone can help me figure this.
thanks in advance!

Take a look at the brick thread, sounds like a perfect example of the brick bug.

First off a little background I downloaded and installed the collective rom from the dev section earlier today and was absolutely loving it. I went into the over the air settings, and downloaded the avengers theme bc I thought it would make a cool edition to show my nephew ( loves the avengers) upon rebooting after successfully flashing I get the avengers A boot logo but it just sits there flashing, and the phone never boots. After waiting a solid 15 minutes for it to boot I held down the power button to power down the phone, and now I can not get it into recovery to reinstall the rom, or install a backup that I made. Clockwork will not come up for some reason, and whenever I try to boot the phone again it gets stuck on the avengers A??? What should I do? What did I do wrong? Thanks in advance
P.S. whenever I plug the phone in it does bring up the battery icon that shows that it is charging, and it will also allow me into download mode.

that is rather wierd. i also use the collective rom its great! but was the avengers theme a flashable theme? or one from theme choooser... if it was flashabble are you sure you did it to the right device.. honestly if i were you and there were no way going into recovery i would unroot and reroot and install ur custom recovery again and restore ur collective rom before this problem happened...

Thank you for the quick response. Yes I am sure it was a flashable theme, if you are running the collective rom and go to the over the air settings there are themes you can download, and the instructions just say to reboot into recovery, flash the theme, then reboot. after doing that I am now experiencing these problems.
A little more info. Sorry bear with me I'm a noob. whenever I try to reboot (not recovery) it says samsung first then it say samsung galaxy s3 like normal then the next screen is the avengers A and this is where it gets stuck. When I try to reboot into recovery all i get is the first black screen with samsung and then after that the phone turns off and the battery icon comes back up. I don't get the second samsung galaxy s3 screen where you are supposed to release the power button, it just dies and goes to the battery logo.

I think I bricked my phone and it is not turning on. I can see the LG logo coming up on the screen but it doesn't go beyond that.
I see some small error message on the Top left corner of the LG Logo screen. Once the that screen is off I see Blue and Red LED light blinking.
Someone please help me.

I will spare myself from answering the question for the third or fourth time? and just quote myself.

jerimynal wiley the error you get "secure boot error" is caused by image you are trying to boot not being bumped or not properly flashed. I assume you get this error both while trying to access recovery and OS. If that is the case you should use this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785089&nocache=1
to flash stock firmware on your device.
But if you have a case where you are able to access your recovery (TWRP I assume) you could use one of the custom images provided here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development (assuming you have D855 version) . Flash them and use them as OS.
