Flashed New Official Rom but bricked (2.03.456.2) [Release Date: 2009-01-16]

Hi,
I download the new rom from http://www.htc.com/www/SupportDownload.aspx?p_id=133&cat=2&dl_id=483 but after upgrading rom the utility says:
Code:
ERROR [270]: UPDATE EROR.
The image file is corrupted. Please check your Update Utility.
I re-download couple of times and re-upgrade but always the same...
The 4 Coloured screen has some text on it:
Code:
DIAM100 64M
SPL-1.93.OliNex
MicroP-Diam (LED) v11
PSOC-Diam STAGE_PVT v0x30
Upgrade ROM code error
Please try again
Before the new official rom i have another cooked rom as you can see i have Olinex Hard-SPL...
Can someone help me about this? I have bootloader screen (4 coloured screen) but after trying times and times always the same. After completing the %100 the error occurs...
Code:
ERROR [270]: UPDATE EROR.
The image file is corrupted. Please check your Update Utility.
Thanks for your helps...

I have the same problem after update new fw.
I can downgrade to 1.93xx, but the new fw doesn't work.
Many people were having this problem , and it was answered a lot of times , is faster to search/read than making a new topic and waiting answers .. just my opinion , anyway here is your answer .
To avoid the 270 error , that 2.03 official wwe gives at the time follow this flashing method:
1. open from your PC the rar or zip archive and extract only the BIG .nbh file
2. rename as DIAMIMG.NBH
3. copy the renamed file into the root dir of your "Storage Card" or "Internal Storage" (the one of 4Gb... NOT to the internal phone memory!)
4. reset your device and within 3 seconds push together the Vol_Down + Back button (the one on the right above the hangup button) and keep pressed until the boot loader appears (the one with the color stripes)
5. soon as you see the bootloader stop to press those poor buttons
6. a very simple gray menu will appear asking you what to do, simple press the power button to perform the ROM/Radio upgrade
7. while the upgrade runs be patient and don't press again the power button, reset the device or play with it until it finishes, when finished a message "UPDATE SUCCESS" will appear, now you can safely reset your device
8. who prefer can perform a hard reset after the fresh cook (soon after reset simply press Vol_Down + Circle button, then when you see another simple gray menu choose Vol_Up to confirm format), even if this has no-sense because internal memory is pre-formatted during flash, but... there is always a but... for some unknown "scientific" reason sometimes an hard-reset can save time & headache

OK. May I ask what to do AFTER I am receiving the error? Unfortunately I didn't read this post above BEFORE trying to update. Now the phone is stuck in bootloader mode and I don't know how to copy the .nbh file to it's internal memory since that memory is not accesible from PC. Should I try to update to a previous firmware, make de steps above ad retry?
Later Edit: I did it as I said before. Flashed another ROM (that went OK), now I'm copying the DIAMIMG.NBH on the Internal Memory and try as described above. Hope this time is working.
Later Edit 2: The update succeded, now the phone is setting up. Thank you. Though, I'm wondering if there was another metod of copying the NBH file without flashing another ROM
I have the same problem with a Windows Vista, i install the same rom update with Windows XP and works
I fixed this problem yesterday!
Hello all,
i decided to update, as all of us and i got the 270 EROR
So i was stuck and the device was not responding.
What i did was to switch it off by taking the batery out...
When i started it again i got the same preloader colour screen. I hoocked it on the USB cable again and started the update yet again.
Everithing was perfect this time, so i suggest you do the same as i did.
btw, i think its working slower now...
best regards

RUU Error code 110

Hello,
I've had some strange issues with my phone lately, random reboots, hangs etc.
I was s-off by Alpharev and running Oxygen!
Trying to sort of this issues I wanted to reset the phone completely by installing the default RUU and start over again.
I downloaded all European RUUs as I didn't know which one to use. The problem is, I have tried them all now, but they all fail with error code 110. The code appears when copying the system files, at about 70 percent.
All I've got now is the silver HTC logo and some icons in each corner when I try to start it. I have lost both fastboot and recovery meny it seems.
Anyone have any suggestions? Hope I didn't f*** my phone completely!
Thanks in advance.

need to have the right ruu and then flash some nice tut on above links.
another way to do is to use PB99IMG file extracted from ruu (be sure you got the right one)
depend on the stock firmware was on device. U do need to remember.
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/22152187/How to Extract the ROM from an RUU.doc
hope this help
Use this.. and do a MD5 check with below for donwloaded file
http://shipped-roms.com/download.ph...9.00.32U_5.11.05.27_release_151783_signed.exe
MD5 14d740a8ec68bd8cc830ff7c0905df72
Coz I think you are flashing OTA files and not the full ROM.. Try above
I have downloaded and tried the Rom you suggested but still no luck. This are the numbers described in the updater: 2.29.405.5 to 2.29.405.2.
Now I got another error message at the end; Error 152 (rom error) Says it can't update the phone!
Any other suggestions?
As I've said, can't get into either fastboot or recovery!
After I disconnect the usb cable the white "fastboot" screen appear with the installation info:
Stops at (6) system - Fail-PU - Partition update fail!

The phone then went into the white screen with the green htc logo, but nothing else happened! When I restarted the phone it went straight into the silver logo screen again...

Broken download mode and bootloop

Hey guys i have an uncommon prob i think
My M9 just random rebooted and was stuck in bootloop, so I tried to flash a RUU via SD Card (already worked this way some weeks ago
1st prob here is i can get into download mode via boot loader but not with vul down + power , it shows the htc logo for a sec and turns black , tries to get into the mode and turn black again and again and again
Same problem when i start the 0PJsth zip , it shows startupdating-ui and then it turns black and so on
When i try to get into recovery it shows the red triangle
Somebody has an idea what to do next ? Flash other RUU via SD card ? Or do i have to flash twrp in some way to Flash new OS ?
OS: 3. XX.401.12
S-ON
Status Modified
Unlocked Bootloader
If you know for a fact the firmware is good then it'll be a dead nand.
Double check the md5 for the firmware file because it could have corrupted in transfer.
A broken SD card can cause issues, as well. You should try more than one SD card.
