I use ziggy's latest kernel. It works great for me. Chads kernels are great too. Just go to the development forum. Find the Kernels thread it has a whole list to choose from.
If I've helped you out.....hit that thank you button.

I use chads kernel and love it! Even with gps, bluetooth, and wiring enabled, i get about 12-18 hours of moderate use... 8-10 hours of heavy use. I'd suggest trying it.

Best battery saving kernel?

Any one have ideas for battery saving kernels?
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA Premium App
Well... everyone is different, and all phones take each kernel different. It all depends in your usage and what things you're running. You have to try out different kernels and see. You can try SBC type kernels they work great on my phone. Give that a try. Search and look for kernels in the search box. Hope this helps

kernel
might want to try netarchys kernels they are great....hes the best
Savaged Savaged Savaged!!
Savaged-zen is an amazing kernel, plus it has SBC which I love. Great battery life, quick. What more could you want?
I personally have good battery with the Tiamat kernel; sbc available if you want it.
OK...first post so here we go. Been using the destroyer rom and the latest sav-zen kernal (v.0.2.0 cfs) for the last two days. My phone responds pretty smooth even being underclocked. The battery life is great compared to stock...yesterday with light-moderate use I was at 17 hours with 30% left. Today over 12 hours of light use but jumping in and out of roaming for about four hours and I'm at 64%. Great job to all the devs

It all varies from phone to phone. Since that one didn't work out so well for ya, I'd recommend trying out other AOSP kernels and finding whats best for your phone. Invisiblek and Cayniarb are two alternatives that just came to mind.

But people say that incredikernal is great for droid incredible... Do you have links for those 2 ? THanks.

Just saying usually people who report super amazing battery life have their screen off 99% of the time. Chads kernels have really really good screen off battery life and good screen on performance (Thus not so great screen on battery life.).
Thanks lee. I just read something about that. Thanks a ton!

What's the best sense 3.0 rom out here?

I'm just wondering what's the best 3.0 rom for speed and batter life? Also one with Apps 2 sd built in
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA Premium App
Kings hateslinger Rom is very good. But i would also say sacs23 rom pretty good. Most 3.0 Roms are stable enough to be daily drivers and are fast in my opinion

Thanks man. It's working fine for me

I am running [Kings-Rom]Kinged SHOOTER E3D [sense3.0] and it works magnificently for me. It is faster than stock GB and has great battery life with moderate to heavy usage. It has a2sd baked in and is very easy to use.
[Kings-Rom]Kinged SHOOTER E3D [sense3.0]
That new Shooter E3D is a great rom, I just keep losing "Market" everytime for some reason.
That's odd. I have not had that issue at all. Did you try re-flashing?

the synergy roms arent full 3.0 but they are very good i have also tried all or the kingsroms ports and roms and all are solid also lots out there for you to try... everyone has there preferences and they all run slightly different on each phone
I like MikG's 2.45 ROM. It's snappy and has most, if not all the 3.0 features except the carousel. However, there is beta ROM that includes it!
im running EVOlved which is based off of MikG. All i can say is awesome

Kernel/Sense ROM question.

Hey guys, sorry if this has been asked before, I usually don't hang around the Evo 4G forums since I have a 3D. However, my wife has and Evo 4G and uses it quite a bit. Is there a kernel and or Sense ROM out that significantly increases battery life over stock? It doesn't need overclock or anything. Just stable with better battery life.
Thanks in advance!

There are many different roms and great kernels that fits great for some. I use (an example) EVOlvedroms. With that I use either more freedom kernel or chopsuey 9. Both work great for me and had excellent battery life plus stability. Check those out. Hope that helps.

Read up on and try each one and see what other people are saying till you find the one that your phone likes
I agree with penny. You have to try them out yourself.
I'd recommend sticking with the default MikG 3.1 kernel (which is the latest HTC kernel) for a couple weeks so you get used to it. Then jump to lionfish and see if you notice a difference in battery life and responsiveness. Personally I don't notice a difference in those areas, but others have been wowed by the latest HTC kernel. Some people say it takes a couple days for a ROM / kernel combo to "settle in." Your phone will have to rebuild the cache and dalvik, and it does that over time as you do different things on your phone.
Lionfish is not based on the latest HTC kernel since they haven't released the open source yet, but it has other features of course, like HDMI mirroring.
Thanks guy ill check them out
