Is there a flashable zip to return the rosie back to STOCK? The Rosie I have is "expresso" with modifications (far left button being remapped to Internet). Can anyone point me in the right direction as to how to revert this back?
thanks in advance

Yes...I'm aware of that mod---but how do u disable it?--I also dont want the expresso Rosie---I want the stock Rosie

The reason I cited that thread is that (I'm fairly certain) I saw a stock Rosie available for flashing. It was posted somewhere in the in the middle of the thread.

Hmmm, sorry about that. I know I've seen a stock Rosie flash on one of those threads. If I run across it, I'll let you know.
You could always roll-your-own pretty easily. Just download one of the mods from the thread I posted, download a ROM with a stock Rosie, unpack and switch the Rosie from the ROM for the one in the mod. Flash and should be good (Nandroid first just in case, of course).
I too would like a flashable zip that would revert to stock rosie.
i.e. from myn's warm rosie to stock rosie.

I'd like to know as well.
Wow...ok---can someone at least tell me then how to pull a stock Rosie from another ROM and then insert it in the ROM I have now? (step by step please---I am willing to learn---but maybe unfamiliar with the terms)
thanks

Peace HoneyBfly,
sent you a PM---question tho---do you know if it will change the ROM that I have? I currently am trying out Calk's ROM and its so heavily modded that I'm worried it will change the mods that he already has on there.

Does Calk's ROM uses color menus? If so, yes...it changes the MENU where it reads all apps, scenes, wallpaper, notifications, settings & Add to Home to the standard gray other than that no. This is strictly the Stock Rosie APK all zipped up so that it can be flashed.
I would suggest you do a NAND Backup 1st of your ROM and then flash the ZIP, see if there were any changes and if not...YIPEEEE!! But if you don't like it, you can always restore.

Hey J...I can definitely say it works because I have flashed this myself. The only thing that will change is the color menu on the main screen if you are on one of the ROMS that has it. Color icons are easy to put back in though. I'm a NOOB but figured out most of this stuff on my own.
Still waiting to TEST this---I think before I flash this I need to UNHACK the mod Calk placed on his Rosie---to avoid my phone going into bootloops. He has modded the far right key modded to be the internet. Does anyone know if there is a way to remove this mod ?

Looks awesome!! Exactly what I was looking for, but I don't understand how to 'apply using CWM'..
Do I need to replace the original files with your files using root explorer for example?
Well done buddy, looks so clean.

CWM is a custom recovery image that you can use to 'Flash' roms/themes/mods etc. Check out the dev section for a howto and more info. Awesome theme btw, it's got the stock look but with a much more refined feel, great work
Forgive me for this, i did search but in my experience forum searches somehow miss out what im looking for, can I just install clockworkmod through rom manager or is it more complicated than that? Im on rooted stock ke7 so I understand I'd need a deodexed rom such as lightening rom before I did this, although I don't know what deodexed means lol
Awesome! I love the whole look and feel of it. Amazing, keep on the good work and for all your Launcher Pro / ADW users, you really have to try this Go Launcher EX. It has the same customisation. However the screen transistions are a lot smoother!
Just what ive been waiting for, lol this will be the reason i actually bother to flash a custom rom.

Clockwork is installed via Chainfires kernel for KE7 or KE2 roms, flash this for clockwork mod but if you want to use this theme first flash Villainrom and deodexed just means the rom can be themed really.
Hi together, I'm new on this forum and I have a question about this theme. Do I need to root my phone or not. If yes, then where can I find some theme without rooting my phone, because I dont want to lose my warranty! And sry for my bad english!
Changelog 01-06-2011:
- Shadow added on my icons inside my go launcher theme, see screenshots!
Didn't work for me on Lightening 1.1, everything force close and the phone wouldn't respond. All is well though as I have just flashed VillainRom and flashed this theme as well, this theme is exactly my style. Not all flashy and glowy. Its perfect! Thanks.

Use this kernel and it should work: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1103399
But I dont get it.. Installed Villain 1.1 and still no luck.
The lockscreen is all messed up. I have the pattern lock and the dots are not within the circels but outside. Also Im not getting the awesome lockscreen you have.
I do and did have widgetlocker installed, but even if i disable or delete it Im not getting the lockscreen.
After flashing the zip i still have the touchwiz interface. Only thing that changed is messing up my pattern lock and changing the battery icon etc.
Also the messages are still rounded and not sqare as shown.
Or should I install your modified Go Launcher to get the phone like shown on the pictures in first post?
Could you please make a step by step how-to?
Changelog 02-06-2011:
- Some icons updated
Great Job. Can you please change network, Data and Wifi notifications to blue color like battery color (so all notifications will be consistent).
Thanks again.
carnt i just install via odin?, im on stock ke7 at the mo and will have to install villian rom to get this right?

Question...using ROM Toolbox I tried to install the transparent status bar it requested reboot but nothing changed. Is this app not compatible with our phone? Stock ROM rooted. Do I need deodexed stock for this to work?

I believe you need a de-odexed ROM. I use StrongSteve's Odexed EL29. Using ROM toolbox I can change the battery meter and the wi-fi meter, but even so, I can see the 'defaults' every now and again 'hiding' under the updates. Since one of the limitations of an Odexed ROM is that you can't flash themes, I think it's safe to say that most of the ROM Toolbox tools under 'Interface' are not going to work for you.
If it matters enough to you, you could always flash a de-odexed stock: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1429243

Well running a complete de-odexed ROM and none of the icon themes are working...I miss me EVO lol

Does anyone do themes for stock ICS? i notice all themes are for any other rom. Soon, one i get some bravery i will flash a rom, but in the meantime, i was wondering if i can change the theme. Like the way the notification bar looks, different battery and stuff. Or is this wishful thinking?

this isnt going to work for stock rooted.
OP: For a theme you will need a deodexed ROM. Even if its a stock deodexed, but you need deodexed.
Thank you blackangst.
I will read more into deodexed rom and get myself familiar with it before doing anything.
does Rom Toolbox theme work for stock? i noticed that app on the market and all that it does, including Icon changing, themes and other stuff. Would this work with Stock ICS or do i still have to have a custom rom?

Yea i am rooted. What should i back up? i have already one a nanbackup on the 16 of this month. If it screws up, i can retore with such backup correct?
Well nevermind, with official ICS this app wont. I was close to buy it, but no need to. The framework on original ICS is odexed, so i need a deodexed rom to mod any of the framework.
Since there was not one posted i decided to post a Remove Location Icon flashable zip file for those who just decide to stay stock de-bloated.
The update script is by andybones, and i modified the apk.
This will work with stock, and deodex, roms as long as you have no other modifications are made in the systemUI.apk
I also included the stock file as well.
Flash in recovery and wipe the dalvik-cache, reboot, SUCCESS !
There are Three files. The Remove_Location.zip will work for both odex and deodex roms.
For odex roms it deletes the odex file and replaced it with a deodex version. It will work just fine don't stress out about it....
The other two are stock deodex and stock odex. If you want to go back make sure you use the right one!

so this doens't actually remove the icon. it just makes it a clear icon. now my Beats logo is floating in space. I'm gonna undo this

I corrected this problem, and the code is now fixed !
Is it still a blank icon that just now AFTER the Beats icon, or is it really space freed up for other notifications?
I don't have that behavior myself on my device after flashing as seen in the posted screenshot. Anyone else ?
Sent from my HTC6500LVW using xda app-developers app
Edit:
Note that even though the modification to the systemUI.apk smali code should set the icon to a with of zero, the actual location of those icons are in the same file
Those were technically removed on my first attempt, which yielded the blank space between the beats icon and 4G symbol or whatever else. That b/c I didn't take into account the smali code in systemUI.apk
Now on my device theI just applied the systemUI.apk modification which just set the width of the ' clear ' location icon to zero which made the space disappear. I have tested this several times by replacing the original systemUI.apk and systemUI.odex files and then re-flashing the modified one and it functions as shown in the OP screenshot.
I also compared the MD5 checksum with the one I flashed vs the one I downloaded from here in case i accidentally messed up and they are identical.

I was going to say, that those status bar mods are not stock
The SystemUI.apk holds some of the icons for the statusbar, and the systemUI.apk hold the codes that control the blank space between the 4G icon and the beats icon that is where the blank space was.
Those are the files that were modified by me, the first being accidental leaving the space between the beats icon and the 4G symbol, and the later resolved the space
Either way, I had the space previously with your first mod and flashed the updated zip and the space is gone. Thanks for the fix!

I like the clcok and battery mods there. I wish there was an easy way to do that while keeping the stock ROM. there's no custom ROMs for this phone yet that I've fallen in love with. Bone Stock was good for a While, but even that one I found myself going back to true stock ROM and just debloating it myself.

I would have to agree with you here.
Now IF Verizon would get the message about bloatware maybe some of us might not need to root!
May I also request a WiFi notification removal mod ? Thanks !
