Hi there,
Is the charger for the i9100 the same as the i9000? I have a i9000 charger lying around in work that might suffice as a back up charger.
Before some suggests it: I also have the USB cable for charging as well in case anyone boycotts this thread. ;P
Regards.
Anyone? I know that some peeps have both 'phone.
I think you can charge with anything as long as its comes with micro usb port

I have both and yes the cable & wall charger are the same in my eyes.
I saw some 1500mA car chargers in various shops. Isn't such a high current harmful for the battery?

It's the exact same down to model number.
Hi,
this week I'll get my HTC One X and I'm looking for accessories for this wonderful phone... Can you suggest me a good external micro-usb charger? I'm concerned about not damaging the battery of the phone, since I don't know if the external chargers charge the battery at a proper speed (maybe they give too much power or too few to the phone .. )...
Any idea and/or suggestion?
Thank you!
Hey,
there is already a discussion regarding this in the accessories section pal

However, I recommend a powermonkey charger or a pebble charger, they have done me well in the past.
Hi Geeks
I have one simple question
i am using htc sensation and my wife is htc one V.
is there any problem when i charge htc one V with my sensation charger or, vice versa?
just want to make sure this.
thanks in advance!
:silly:
Should'nt be, I've used a sony ericson charger and it worked fine
cool, thanks!
I would suggest you first check out the ratings on the charger before trying it anything.
Like the charger if one v has got an output voltage of 5V and output current of 1A. If the charger you want to use had these same ratings, I would say no harm done.

No problem as long as it is a mini usb cable and ask questions in the Q and A thread please

Just check if the charger you are usinng as the same power output, then it won't harm.
I used a samsung charger for a while, it had different output, and it messed up my battery backup!
I'm looking an external battery charger, I've seen SO many of them advertised the options are dizzying. I was looking at this model, but I wondered if anyone had any experience. Share what you've had and like, share what you've had and hate, just tell me about your personal experience. Thanks!
Are you wanting something to charge batteries outside your phone or something to bring with you to charge your phone? I got two slim extended batteries and an external charger for $20 from Q-Cell on Amazon.

For what it's worth i got an external battery charger made by anker off of amazon for 6 bucks. Used it over a year with no issues. Fits every phone battery I've tried also, even camera batteries

I have this PowerGen PGMPP6000 White External Battery Pack
I like it because it was a built in micro usb cable. I don't have to carry an extra cable with me. I always keeps spare USB cables in my car anyway in case I need to use my phone while its charging. The battery pack slips into my pocket easily and charges my phone twice.

I agree. I originally bought a super cheap no-name charger & 2 batteries on eBay for $10. They work, but the batteries don't last quite as long as my originals did.
I then bought an "Anker" charger + 2 batteries on Amazon for ~$20, and have never looked back. Batteries work -much- better than the no name ones. The charger is a bit odd tho. It's universal, so you can use it with almost ANY small Lithium Ion battery. Pins slide back and forth to connect to any type, they sense the proper polarity, and it's spring-loaded to fit any size pack.
The Anker charger with the extended batteries are fantastic. My charging port broke, but my life has only become more convenient with one in the phone, one in my bag, and one charging at home. Days of battery!
Hi All,
While looking through the Q&A section for the Find 7(a) I found that the battery charging has one or two snags (apparently mostly CM based custom roms http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=54542576&postcount=4).
But
Does anyone have problems with non VOOC chargers?
My phone doesn't charge on some (my girlfriends LG and my external power bank are confirmed not to work) and on some it does (mostly usb chargers where you put in your usb cable).
Anyone else have this issue... and anyone have a solution?
