I need to find a new rom. The rom I have has been working really well until lately (Inc re-engineered v2.30) I use my phone for work ( directv) and rely on it for everything. It has been crashing alot. Rebooting while taking on the phone
GPS is a must. I'm looking into cm7 rc2 herd alot of good things #and a few bad.
Any suggestion on what might be best for my everyday hard use?
Your help is appreciated

I use incredibly re-enginered 2.3.2 almost flawlessly. Try updating from 2.3.0.

Trying to find a ROM to flash on my wife's inc2, with a 2.3.4 base that has video chat working in Google Talk. Have tried one or two so fast with no luck, and i'm too short on time to research or test much.
Can anyone point me at a solution?
Thanks in advance.

Flash any Rom and download the talk 1.3 installer from market.
Sent from my Incredible 2 using XDA Premium App
I tried to get talk 1.3 running on the stock rom (2.3.3) but could never get it to work. MIUI has it stock, though, and it works perfectly. It's actually the reason I switched to MIUI.
Hi guys I just want to know most comforting custom Rom for my hanheld???

My favorite is condemnedsouls sabotage sense.
Sent from my Sabotaged Droid Incredible 2.
My favorite is the ICS one with the full working camera, front/back and camcorder, and that unlocks 4G capabilities. I forgot the name of the Rom.

Well that would be expected. That's how most devs start.

I've never quite thought of a ROM as being "comforting", but my goto is usually CM7 for now.
I like Liquid GB a lot. It isn't as flashy as some of the other Roms I've been running lately, but it's stable, quick, and seems to be very kind to my battery. I always leave a prepared backup of it on my phone in case I'm ever going to be travelling for a couple days. I load it up and all my worries will be abated until I get back home to flash the newest ICS Rom in it's place and deal with all the quirks.
The most comforting to me is Miui. I love when I get a call and the embarrassing hi res fullscreen pictures that I choose comes up of the particular contact.
I have looked around and tried just about anything. I am trying to do the car o dope tweaks on my Evo 4G running RemixICS 1.3.1 and the settings are just not sticking. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Again, I have searched around and could not find a solution. Again, any help will be greatly appreciated.
Most likely not sticking because tweaks are already applied.
This is my signature.
I did a clean install and checked the forums to find something on removing left over files from old tweaks. Couldn't really find anything.

Why apply tweaks when the system is already smooth as butter? The tweaks he provided are used on most of his ICS Roms and are the best for those circumstances. I'd suggest leaving it be. Its really good, I would know. I ran this Rom for a good month with great performance.

I had lag issues with it after a couple of weeks of use. I love the rom. Gonna do a fresh install again and give it another go. Thanks for the info. What are you running now?

The problem is with the services.jar on ICS and JB. Its very possible to overcome this. My suggestion would be to use this- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1719408

I cannot post over on the Synergy thread that I located as it is developers only and I completely understand. I am hoping the Synergy folks see my post here and my thanks.
I've had my SGN2 for a few months and have pretty much played with JB Domination. I finally had enough of what I felt was the blue everything being shoved down my throat and went back to stock. I think it is one of the best ROM's out there but not if it forces you to accept all of it's programming and colors much like the SGN2 itself. This is my opinion.
Synergy is nice!! It gets ride of a lot of crap on the phone, it is very, very quick, it gives me the tether that I need. No complaints. I liked it so much that I actually sent in a small donation, something I typically do not do often on things like this.
I will say I am running V14 as it that seemed the heaviest in use. There is a v32 version but my phone kept turning off and had to have a battery pull to get it back online.
If you liked r14, upgrade to r47...its what i am running now (ziggy kernal and all). platt continues to outdo himself with each update!

I do have 1 question tho. Im running LJC and it seems yo be performing great, should I upgrade to MA7? I just don't want to brick my phone. Thanks for the hardwork guys!

I upgraded from Synergy LJC to Synergy MA7 easily with no problems at all. I would say the biggest upgrade is being able to use Ziggys kernal. There were some hiccups with his kernal on LJC, but it runs smooth on MA7. I say make a nandroid, and take the plunge!

Hey guys,
First off, thanks for the forum, you guys are great!
I just picked up my LGOG about a week ago, and its FANTASTIC. I am coming from many years of using an Optimus G, fully rooted and ROM'd, so Im not quite a noob, just a noob with this phone.
Anyways, Im currently unlocked and rooted, and flashed v14 of Lifeless on my phone. Its great, however, I do not have any data connection at all. Ive tried the tricks, toggle airplane mode, toggle data, reboot, wipe dalvik/cache, none of it seems to work.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Again, thanks!
Did you update your radios?

I just rooted my phone last night. I was stock ZVB and as well. I didn't flash any radios and everything is fine so far with my phone. Also running the same ROM. I would try re downloading and flashing again with a clean wipe.

i just reflashed, and update prl. I now have data! thank you guys so much!
on a side note....is the stock kernel fine on the OG or should I look into one of the other ones? from my reading, it seems that the roms based on JB have solved a lot of the heat issues. will the other kernels improve battery as well? im open to suggestions, and I want to learn!
thanks again guys
