never mind i wiped that too. now it just goes back to clockworkmod.
You might need to restore from a backup, then you can try again. I'm not sure what this zip is that you're talking about.
You did make a backup before flashing, I hope?
yes, i backed up and restored every thing im just having trouble leaving the clockworkmod recovery now. ill try backing it up and restoring it again though

Can anyone help me?
I am running SkyRaider 3.1 with the Hydra SSUV kernel.
I ran ClockworkMod through Rom Manager, selected wipe cache, then wiped dalvik cache and the phone is now stuck in the boot sequence at the Droid eye screen. It's now been about 20 minutes, so I assume it has had enough time to rebuild itself.
Any ideas? I have a nandroid backup from a few days ago, but I would like to avoid doing that.

It should have completed by now, I hate to say pull the battery.... but if you are really stuck.
go back to recovery wipe Dalvik and Cache Partition, try booting again, it will take quite a bit of time to reboot this time.
If that does not work use your nandroid backup.
BTW always nandroid before making any changes to your phone that way you lose nothing, even if you think they are quick, easy or minor. Hardware has a way of keeping us humble.
Thanks for the recommendation. I had pulled the battery and figured I would try booting to recovery and wiping the cache again to see what happened. Did that and booted in a minute.
Currently doing a new Nandroid backup...
H'okay. So. I had Myn's 2.2 and I wanted to try out something different so I decided on CM7 RC2.
I do a nandroid backup (ofcourse) and then proceed to wipe my cache/factory reset. I then flash CM7 and then do a partial restore of my data for my apps/contacts.
I then proceed to the boot screen and it just loops, over and over again. Without loading my data, CM7 boots just fine... so what in my data is preventing me from being able to boot into CM7?
Thanks in advance!
Boot into recovery, wipe dalvik cache, reboot system.
Try not restoring the data part of the applications. I've heard sometimes issues can arise from that.

What am I supposed to restore to get apps/contacts back then? :3
What you should do is backup your apps with titanium, backup your rom, then wipe factory/data, cache, dalvik cache, flash the rom. on the first boot, it may take an extra couple of minutes. After you sign in, blah blah, open titanium backup, then restore apps with data, NOT system settings.
What you have to do is flash Calkulin's Format All zip. This will delete everything except for the SD card. While still in recovery reflash CM7 and then while STILL in recovery flash the proper Gaaps. You follow these tlstwps I guarantee it will work without a problem. FYI, in terms of restoring your apps with data more than likely it wont work. I have always had trouble restoring AP data when going from Sense to AOSP (CM) Hope this helped.
Just did a clean install of Anthem v2.1 and everything booted up fine. I went into recovery, wiped data, dalvik, and cache, and installed the latest gingertiny kernel. When I reboot from recovery, I get bootloop. What's wrong?

Thats because you wiped data. You should only wipe dalvik-cache and the cache partition.

Just to add to this. NEVER wipe data after flashing a Sense 3 or Sense 3.5 ROM. Actually even some Sense 2.1 ROMs that is a bad idea.
This is because the way these ROMS are built as the storage in /system cannot hold the whole ROM so they have to build part of it in /data. So wiping data will clear the ROM components as well as the user data. If you have to wipe data, plan to reflash the ROM again. So I say don't wipe data AFTER flashing the ROM unless you plan on reflashing the ROM. You can and will probably need to wipe data before flashing the ROM though.
Is there a reason why Titanium Backup isn't working? When I try to restore the progress bar just doesn't do anything...I had this problem with my Galaxy Tab and I had to change the app processing mode but is there a different issue?

Make sure USB debuggging is on. If it is, I don't know.
I think the problem is that I ran out of internal memory, I have a huge sd card so I think I can solve this problem. Thank you for replying though. I would've posted something on the actual rom page but I don't have enough thumbs up
Ok so I downloaded a JB rom rebooted in CWM touch I then
wipe data /factory reset
Wipe cache partitions
Wipe dalvik cache
Format system
Format cache
Format data
And flashed the rom
I reboot and it gets stuck sometimes in the Google screen or the X screen
I have left it booting for 1hr and nothing
Due system/cache /data have to be unmounted?
hi there, only thing you must do is to wipe factory, and wipe cache, dont wipe and format other things there.. if you have a back up of your prevoius stock rom, restore it again to restore all you had been formated, to restore your phone to normal, and install again your jelly bean rom but this time just wipe cache and wipe facetory thats all you need to do. sorry for the english

CMW Touch usually does not play well with JB.
Try flashing with an older CMW.
Alright thanks for the help restoring back to aopk 40 and going to flash a older cwm then rebooting into cwm wipe factory and cache then JB v3 then rebooting it hope fully it works
Good luck, hope it works out for you.
Okay so I tried flashing a new rom and the wipe data got stuck at formatting cache. then it rebooted randomly and got stuck on a boot loop. Pulled the battery and tried to restore but to no avail. Cannot find file. I am new to rooting and this is not my phone so I am definitely starting to sweat. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Don't sweat, just use ur PC download another rom and mount SD card to PC, transfer ROM to SD card and flash, and did u say u wiped data and cache after flashing a ROM? Noooo wiped everything 3x BEFORE u flash, sooo boot to recovery, wipe data, system, cache and dalvik cache, then flash ROM and reboot, or if asop ROM flash ROM then flash gapps then reboot, and as far as ur backup, what recovery are u using? U should just be able to push restore and the recovery should find the backup by itself, I can help u if need be, pm me

Sorry I wasn't specific enough. The wipe data/cache was not working. It would get stuck at formatting cache.
