The same way you flash a rom. Place it on your sdcard, boot into recovery, wipe you cache and dalvik, and flash the kernel. You should backup prior to, just in case. Also, use only sense kernels on sense roms, and the same for aosp, don't mix them.
so for the nightly i jus flashed...what would b the best kernal...

So, can the latest Radio 2.15, be flashed with other ROM's, like CyanogenMod?
~Jasecloud4
I flashed the latest radio with Ava's froyo rom, then did a nandroid back to my baked snack 2.1 rom. Its running fine with the latest radio.
Froyo is nice, but i'm waiting for an updated kernel that breaks the fps cap. Or until one of the other dev's get everything working on their froyo roms.

do i have to have a froyo rom to flash the radio and wimax? because i have a stock 1.47 rom and i tried to flash them and i thought it would work but no, im still on 2.15 radio...soooo

check your 4g by going into adb and typing
Wimax_mtd
look through it and it'll tell you your version number

Not sure what you mean by 'check' ...
But you can try this and see if it answers your question.
Hey guys and gals
I'm having a lot issues with roms that are being developed. From my understanding hardware versions 0004 are phones who seem to be having issues with the camera. That's not my case. I'm currently running 0003 and experiencing issues with my camera with just about every Rom I load that doesn't use a certain kernel.
For example - earlier today I loaded frost aosp Rom and really wanted to run it, but it uses a custom kernel which my phone doesn't like. I tried flashing the OTA kernel which is in the wiki and that too didn't work.
From what it seems and what I have tested is that the following kernel is about the only one that works for me.

I know people have been able to solve this by removing their battery for a while and I don't understand how that works for people. Upon trying it and rebooting my phone still has a broken cam.
If I can get any input on this I would greatly appreciate it.

I know that I have read somewhere that even some of the late 003 Hardware version EVO's have the same issue you have. Just a stab in the dark but have you tried the special version of Amon for 004 Hardware users. This supposedly fixes problems people were having flashing custom roms and kernels.
Stab in the dark but it may help you
I have not. I mean I'm running recovery 1.8 what else should I be doing? Would you be able to point me in the right direction?

Clear market data, if that doesn't work, factory reset, if THAT doesn't work, reflash, if THAT TOO doesn't work, flash other firmware.

if u flash icecold ur kernel alrdy will get changed to the one included ind lordmods rom. no need to worry
Just to clarify: all ROMs include kernels, not just IceCold. So even if you switch to another ROM, you don't have to worry about the kernel. Sometimes other kernels are downloadable, but those are usually available so people can test them out for the next release of a ROM.
Got it

Don't worry about Quadrant scores, they really don't mean anything to actual performance and are completely theoretical... You're welcome for the help
