Hey guys i'm from India
and i have done lots of flashing to my Samsung wave S8500.
now i'm facing a problem...
My Problem is that the camera is not focusing properly in the Auto Focus Mode...
I guess this problem came up to me when i flashed to S8500XXJL2.
After that i have flashed my phone several times but the problem isn't resolved.
Now i have returned back to indian firmware so that i can use the official Indian firmware and see if my problem is solved or not, but i am unable to update firmware through KIES.
IT says"This version of device cannot be updated"
is there any solution
please reply me soon..

well, i have a galaxy note 2 (GT-N7100) and i tried to unlock it, as it was in 4.1.2 android version i had to downgrade it and unlock it after
the operation to install 4.1.1 android version hasn't succeeded, since then the screen is like "firmware upgrade encountered an issue. please select recovery mode in kies and try again"
i tried to resolve the problem by kies but in vain
I just want my phone back guys if you have a method to help me
and when i wan't to install a new firmware using odin v3, it's failing in every time and i'm downloading this firmware version : N7100XXALJ1 from the samsung updates website

1-ALJ or any lower than 4.1.2 require you not to just Flash a ROM, downgrade requires a full Wipe. (VolUp+Power+Middle Button , then wipe data/cache).
2-make sure your model is N7100 , and not N7100T or SGH.
3-KIES MUST BE NOT RUNNING IN BACKGROUND OR RUNNING AT ALL! You can simply uninstall it.
4-try installing the drivers again, and use a different USB Port.

I also have same problem pleae help me.Odin cant recognize my phone,I receave message that firmare upgrade an issue please connect kies.I also try to recover my phone via kies but after complete downloading it stuck at cant transfer to my phone.Pleaes help me Guys.

I tried all sorts to get this working but after returning to stock after unrooting and repairing the N7100 via kies back to stock 4.1.2 india rom..
Now it does not check for update as it says the above msg mentioned in the subject. I cannot check for update OTA. It just goes on and on.. no result..
Dr. Ketan mentioned the reason behind it but still no solution. He is definitely working on it but still no results.
I can connect to kies and sync or backup but cannot update firmware.
Does anyone has the same problem and have found any solution for the same.

your status is modified so you can not update with kies or OTA..do your research first mate..read this thread,you will find the solution.
I upgraded my Note 2 from 4.1.2 to 4.4.2 (Official French Rom downloaded from sammobile) yesterday and facing Not Registered on Network Error when I try to make call. My phone is already modified before I buy. This originally came from UAE and modified in Pakistan. I faced same problem when I upgrade to 4.3 which I could not resolve myself after trying so hard. I got it fixed by moving back to 4.1.2 with help of a technician (spent money).
Now again, I tried this latest firmware out of my curiosity. But same problem again? Please help me what to do?

I have a big problem with my S4 mini Duos i9192, so I´ll try to explain everything as better as I can:
The phone is NEW, i bought it a week ago in Chile and I bring it to Argentina. It was working fine (both sim cards, wi fi, camera, etc..) until it started to reboot like crazy.
I discovered that it could be solved with a simple factory wipe, but I did it without any success. After that I found somewhere that sometimes this could be solved with an update of the firmware. I dont know what my factory firmware was (Yes, I´m a newbie), but I downloaded I9192XXUCNG2 from SamMobile and flashed it with Odin3 following all the steps. It wasn´t any update available in KIES, so I decided to try that russian Kit Kat version.
It didn´t solve my problem, so I flashed it several times, like 10 times.. and until now I still stuck like before. Then I tryed to flash other Jelly Bean versions (I9192UBUBND1, I9192UBUBNA2, I9192UBUBND2, I9192UBUBMK5), but I wasn't allowed to proceed so I am now stuck in Kit Kat and dont know how to do a downgrade to solve my problem someway.
KNOX KERNEL LOCK: 0x0
KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 0x0
Dont know what to do.. could it be a hardware problem? The moments when the phone is working without rebooting everything looks fine.

you are now stock into kitkat you cant go back ... try to flash kitkat through odin several times is the only solution
..and next time please read before proceding any upgrade :fingers-crossed:

I´m worried because the problem emerged in JB and in KK it keeps bothering...
Now I dont know if the guys of the service will reject my phone alluding that I modified the firmware :crying:

If I were in your shoes I'd try:
1. root the phone
2. install CWM recovery
3. install CyanogenMod 11, KitKat 4.4.4
All this is available for I9192. You can find proper procedures on XDA.

did anything help you to solve it ? I'm from ARG as you are and I brought my I9192 from Panama and I have exactly the same problem even with CM12 (lollipop).

Dear friends, it's the first time that I write a thread seeking your help.
I purchased my note 4 N910H 5.1.1 few weeks ago and I discovered that battery drains in a horrible fast way even if it is turned off (6 to 7 hours max). I read that many people had the same problem and that after a downgrade to kitkat this issue was solved. So I decided to do so.
I tried all methods I found on forums; all files I found on sammobile. No success.
I only could install 2 files..
1- N910HXXU2COJ4_N910HOLB2COJ2_N910HXXU1COJ2_HOME.tar is a 5.1.1 with CSC from Cambodia (CAM). I don't think it is the good one coz after installing it I could not do an update with kies (shows an unknown error).
2- N910HXXU2COJ4_N910HOJV2COJ1_N910HXXU1COJ2_HOME.tar is also a 5.1.1 with CSC from Iraq (MID). With it, kies accepted to update firmware without problems, so I think it's the good one.
I also found a 4 files ROM N910HXXU1ANJ4_OLB1ANJ4 it is a kitkat ROM but can not be flashed (Odin shows nand writing error). I tries to flash this rom without loading Bootloader file.. it worked but phone was stuck on a bootloop and could start again only after flashing 5.1.1 ROM.
I think that bootloader is locked or secured somehow and refuses all roms.
What is the solution? is there an other kitkat ROM with same actual bootloader maybe? is there a way to change bootloader version?
