Hi!
Is there any way I can edit tabs in htc sense? I mean not just show/hide, but add my own app. Using Resco contact manager and I would really like to use its Sms inbox instead of Htc sms tab... Done quite a lot of search but didnt find anything
Thanks for any help!
Also - how can I edit Start menu - if I hold finger on screen, it allows me only to move items. How can i add folder and move eg. favourite apps in there...?
Go to File Explorer app, then go to My Device/Windows.
It takes a long time for the file explorer to finish loading all the files in the Windows folder, but be patient. Did I mention it takes a long time? But it will get there. Don't turn off your phone or reset.
Once it is done, go to Start Menu folder and you can delete shortcut you don't want or edit as your please.
Just gonna post this here because im confused of where to post in the main forums because i never use them......but im wondering......with the latest Launcher Pro.......where in the helllll do you install a downloaded icon pack to be able to select it from the theme menu in preferences? I cant find the location anywhere in root explorer.........i cant even find anything about launcher pro in general in there
Once you download a pack from the market(I guess), the pack(s) should be in
/data/app and it should be in Preferences>Themes>Icon packs

Yep = once you download a compatible Theme / Icons , they will show up under Theme Settings > Icon Pack
You can find tons of free icon / text packs as zip files searching with google. Download, unzip, transfer the png / image files to your sd card and long press anything on the app drawer or press the default icon when adding a shortcut and choose "custom icon" and pick anything from the gallery or whatever file explorer you use.......
You can find a quite large selection of files at launcherpro.droidicon.com also

That's what I have done. I have probably about 2000 different icons on my sdcard.

Can I rename apps without rooting?
Try using a custom launcher such as Nova. Hold the icon on the home screen and choose the edit option.

What CamFlawless said is correct, however, this changes it in the Home Screen only, not the app drawer. For the app drawer you have to decompile the app, change the name in one of the files, then recompile the APK. If you Google it I'm sure you can find details on it.
Hello. Coming from Touchwiz I like the ZenUI quite enough, but...
Is there a way to create folders (with a custom name) in the app drawer and put inside them the apps I do will, not based upon the approximate built-in categorization, which put almost all of them together ?
Stuff like AppZorter for TW would be sci-fi on this kind of UI, isn't it ?
Thanks for any trick
Easy, in the apps menu up on the right site, touch the edit option.

And how could I create custom folders, this way ?
I see the "smart folder" (automatic) option only, which isn't too smart, as I said above
Thanks
You have to choose edit and creat manually over posted.

Sorry but I can't get your point.
If I choose "Edit" in the top-right menu, the drawer automatically switches to "custom mode", with those self-distributed smart folders.
How could I create new custom folders or move apps between them ?
I can only rename the existing ones, but they stay as before and all the apps come back to them soon
Thank you
Ok, I'm answering myself if someone else could be interested in the OP question solution:
to create a custom folder, both on the home or drawer (edit mode) layers, you should drag an app icon above another: a folder containing both of them would be created.
Then you can edit/change the folder name tapping over it
Done.
Thanks for putting on right way

In the notifications or apk settings the option to disable system notifications are greyed out ..
Is there an xposed module or some other root explorer mod that could make this happen .
