I do some writing and I wanna brush up on my old English. Anyone know of a website or app that offers this? Thanks
Edit: I'm not sure if you would call it old English but it was how people would talk in the Victorian era. Words like nigh, cur, dearest, etc.

This is the best it-en-it dictionary i've ever found.

Yeah I am English, I assume this is good for general day to day use?
it is "THE" dictionary. But much depends on your needs: if you're looking for a talking dictionary, or a "the-pen-is-on-the-table / the-cat-is-under-the-table" touristic dictionary, maybe it's not the right one...
Hello there! I use WM 6.5 blue angel.
I think there must be a file where the word completion store the words,
default one's and new one you write.
Where is this file located?
Can you back it up?
Can you edit?
Regard
Ola A.
that is an extremely interesting question, to which i actually don't have the answer, but i would like to know that, too, because i like english roms best but everything i write, like sms or emails are mostly german, and i would like to swap those files then, to keep the english rom and keyboard layout, while still get german suggestions. and also, of course the custom words are interesting, for names and places that are not in the database.
Do you still remember the DictonaryEditor? I don't know if it works under WM6.5.
Hello out there!!! No one???
Is it possible to request a language pack for rooted Desire?
I'm looking for English Malaysia (or Malay language) for my Desire. It is really pain in a butt trying to type a SMS because the apps kept auto suggest a word. I could turn off the auto suggest but then english sms will be harder without it.
So, maybe someone can tell me where I could get it from.
When I send SMS in Chinese, the receiving party only sees ***** instead of Chinese character. However, the sent message characters displayed normally on my phone. I saw some posting with similar problem on Galaxy S. That can be fixed by setting the input method to Unicode in the SMS app, but I cannot find this option in G2. Anyone has any idea?
Does anyone experience similar problem? Or you don't encounter any problem sending SMS in Chinese?

I don't know about Chinese but I have a problem with Portuguese. When I type an accentuated character the number of available characters decrease. As an example, when I start a new sms I have 0/160 characters available. Then if I type an 'á' the counter reads 1/70 but if I type an 'a' it reads 1/160. I think I had the same problem in my old Nokia phone and I solved it selecting unicode charset or something like that but I can't find that option on the desire z...
I don't mean to offend anyone by saying this, however, wouldn't it just be easier to type in english?
