(?) Warm z not letting me use Honeycomb lockscreen - Droid Incredible Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello Im using ROM Warm Z TwoPointTwo [RLS1] and found a zip file that will let you flash to the Honeycomb lockscreen and every time I try it i have to use my backup to restore my phone..
can someone tell me if this is even possible or is this only available for 2.2 roms not z roms..
Here is the zip attach if it is needed to answer my question...
I would appreciate any comments or help..

I'm not a hundred percent sure but, I think it has to be made specifically for that Rom or possibly another z Rom...

For one thing z roms are 2.2
And the other is yes it has to be made for the specific rom. Due t sense being heavly in the framwork, and the fact that u have to unistall the htclockscreen.apk to use the vanilla lockscreen

I'll see, i was hoping it was posible since i like that lockscreen better.. i just hope someone makes a theme with thar lockscreen for z roms...

Is there a Z rom that is basically stock with sense 2.0?

All I really want is a ROM that is exactly like stock but has sense 2.0. I will gladly donate to the dev if I can find a rom like this, but I haven't been able to find one yet. Are there any out there? I don't like any of the extras that other roms come with (different fonts, colors, icons, etc).

Uber Z is much better, I've tried both and Uber is faster, crashes less, and has more extras in it that aren't too "non-stock". Definitely go with Uber Z.

Need help with something...

Hi all, so I'm big HTC Sense fan, and since Sense port for galaxy S is not finished yet (keep going guys, just need data), I've tryed to replicate sense ui as much as i can.
So I've combined GoaTrip 1.7 + crysis sensation + bought Launcher Pro Plus Sense
So only thing missing is nice notification bar, one I have is all black, and I wan't it to be whit/gray like on HTC Sense.
Can someone make it in to a flashable zip? (will buy them a bear next month)
So this is what I have now, and what would I like to have:

[Q] Sense 3.0 Lock Screen for an Unrooted Desire Z?

Hello everybody. I have an unrooted Desire Z with Gingerbread and Sense 2.1. Because of feeling noob, I am scared to root my Desire Z, but also I really want to use Sense 3.0 lock screen. Is there a way for me?
Thanks
Not without rooting I'm afraid. I'm currently using virtuous 2.0 which is based off the official DZ GB release. With the sense 3.0 lockscreen and it rocks.
If you need help rooting head over to #G2ROOT irc and they will be happy to help

Any way you could link to a thread/post on how to get that lockscreen on ROMs other than Unity? I remember seeing bits and pieces of how but I cant search because I'm on my phone at the moment.

Doesn't that suck up a ton of memory?
You must root your phone. I recommend Virtuous Unity or Virtuous 2.0, both with the overclocked Unity B4 kernel. Good luck!

I am using the sense 3.0 lockscreen with Virtuous 2.0 as well. Whilst I dont play lots of 3d games etc I dont have any problems with memory.
It really does run well.
Running Sense 2 OR 3 requires, in my opinion, removing unneccesary apps with Titanium to free up space. I took out WiFi calling, the drm, the email and stock apps/widgets, and Facebook/Twitter.

Thanks,
I have installed that app and it works nice. but sometimes I have to unlock both lockscreens original one and agile. Is there any other way to replace the original one.
I was thinking about something like this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1054444
Because I would also like to see that nice music widget on lockscreen and some other stuff.
I have downloaded and install app from that thread but when I restart phone I still have old lockscreen.

Download "No Lock" from the market. It disables the stock lockscreen so you can use agile lock or any other lockscreen
does anyone know if you can delete the stock htc 2.1 lockscreen using titanium back up??
thanks

really? its not? you can still use the 2.1 lockscreen on the free version
Search the Insercoin thread. Someone posted there a flashable zip to have the old slide down to unlock lockscreen. Its been a long while but I know its there. I've used it before.

No, coz Android 3-4 uses .apk's wat doesn't work on earlier versions of Android, tried. And IF it would work, there will be no widgets etc. coz it's another Sense version.
Ok which means I guess it correct different system framework

Think about apps wat are ported from ICs, for example Google Music. No root needed, and it don't need any system framework changing.
