I apologize in advance if I'm standing on my chair shouting in the wrong room
Is there any way to add to speed dial? There is only 9 slots, I guess thats default. If theres an app or a way to add more.... Thanks

Can someone delete this thread
Sense ROMs have speed dial built in. For AOSP, Dialer One from market provides for speed dial.

and thats only for in call volume not speaker
So there is no fix mod or hack.. would some like to make one for a price really interested in a mod

Speaker volume is way too low on its highest setting, would love
to be able to "hack" it.
Ed
And devs like to go at this maybe just the file to edit or an app or and adb command please calling out will pay for this
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App

uh yeah dude... you've already made that painfully clear
Yea well it seems your the only one that answers and no one helps so I will keep repeating that I will pay for such a mod personally made for the evo to mod volume
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
i guessing it would just be an edit like it was way back when on the MT3G. i dont see why this wouldnt work. maybe i can look into some old threads and experiment on my evo.
i did find kernel made my toast that does turn the volume up a little bit just not enough and if i knew more apps out the file structure and so on i would look into this n eddy mean 01 of the files in the system but i'm not that talented what i cn do is see if someone by chance know what file it is stored in for volume information i could figure it out from there

Hmm, I don't believe I have ever seen a dialer that goes to landscape. Not to my knowledge, I have never seen anything like that. There's a lot of different dialers out there, but none of which rotate to landscape. That's not to say that it can't be done, just that I've never seen one.
I too haven't seen a landscape dialer.
Edit: after going a lightning faster search, I think dialer one may be your best bet.
Yep, Dialer One works in landscape mode & on CM7. I use it on CM7, I like it better than the default.
I will try.thank you buddy

Yes this dialer is awesome. Is there somehow to flash it so its my default.
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
Guys check it out.won't be diaspponted
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
Try to call someone, and then it should ask you to select a default,t hen pick dialer one.
The actual phone call part is done through the stock dialer, so you can't set the default for calling. However, at the end of a phone call it sends you to the call log. Then you get a popup asking if you want to use Dialer One or Contacts/Dialer... check the check box & choose Dialer One. Anytime another app calls the dialer, contacts, or call log you may have to set the default again - but only once per individual circumstance.
Does any one know what a modem link v 1.0 is on the incredible 2? It has a disable/Enable button... Thank you.

I would guess it's what is used with the 3G hot spot service. Just a guess, though.
The only way to open it I found was adw launcher I wonder if there program enables this "modem" and allows the hot spot.

I was only guessing about it being related to the hotspot but it could be, I suppose.
I find it really annoying that texts show up in the call log... anyway to disable that? I'm on Starburst 1.7

In the phone log click the menu button and click view by. Then choose all voice calls.

That works but it doesn't stick. I think it resets after a reboot. At least for me it hasn't stuck.

So I'm assuming there is no permanent workaround yet?
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S II
Probably not. The phone is still very new and still working out bug in every corner. So it will take some time.

There is a "logsprovider.apk" over on Bonsai that works, I use it fwiw. Just search the quoted term.

I've been using go dialer since I changed my lcd density to 200 which made the default dialer look funny. I like go dialer so far
This must be with the default messaging. I don't see the texts in mine, maybe cause I have Handcent installed.
Are You Sick Of Opening Phone Dialer & Having To Switch To The Keypad?
Well I was ! So I Found a Solution!
Drove me crazy to have to switch from call logs to dialer ..
From dialer to logs ect ect ..
I wanted TWO Icons ..
One for the Phone Keypad ..
One for the Call logs ..
Sooooo ... Heres How I did it.
1. Download xShortcut
xShortcut Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ex.chinyang.android.xshortcut&hl=en
2. Open xShortcut
3. Click: Activity Capture Mode
4. Read Pop-up Instructions !
5. Open Phone Dial Pad.
6. Pull Down Notification Window and pick: Grab Activity
7. On Pop-up Window Pick: Edit
8. Under Short Cut Name: Change Name to Dial
9. Under ACTION Pick: ACTION_DIAL
10. Pop-Up Window Create ShortCut: Pick ACTION!
DONE !
You Now Have a Short Cut That Will Open The Phone-Keypad Every time!

Why not put the contacts app next to the phone app in the dock? That app is a waste of space, lol just like thus thread IMO. But to each their own!

Just use exDialer. It's even better than stock dialer and it's themeable.
