Ever since i installed HD revolution 3.0 the phone mutes when i remove the headset. Anyone know if this is a setting and how i can turn it off, i missed an appintement this morning because the phone was muted and i did not hear the alarm.
Upgade it to 3.1
I have the same problem and I'm using Android Revolution HD 4.0 β 4.
Everytime you unplug the headphones, the phone mutes all sounds (including the alarm).

Hi guy's, i have a problem i havn't found a solution yet....
i've paired my bluetooth headset and all outgoing calls work fine. But when i get an incoming call its audio is routed to the phone instead to my bt headset, so every time i get a call i manually need to tell it to use the bluetooth... it's very annoying and unsafe as i use my bt headset mainally while driving...
I've looked every where, and tried all sort of apps that turn your bt off when a call is done and turn it on and pair back when i receive a call... but it takes time until the phone pair back with the headset... no good....
Please help if you have any solution, or you too have the same issue...
I have a rooted phone, using pays 1.6 bravesoul (based on mcr 3.1).
Thanks

I had the same problem when using 2.1 ROMs. It is fixed on Froyo (DeFroST 1. 2 at least)

Thanks for the replay, The thing is that a very simple software can fix this, but I cannot any thing that works... and Froyo is not stable enough for me...
I have exactly the same issue but with 3 different bluetooth devices. The phone will make a call OK and use the bluetooth device for audio, but when receiving, the audio is routed to the phone. Weird.
On my Touch Diamond 2 it uses BT headset if i use the headset answer button to answer the call and if i use button on the phone it uses audio on the phone. Maybe its same with android?
No, it doesn't matter what device's button you use or even after a reboot.
New so can't comment in the IceColdSandwich thread.
When I connect my inspire Bluetooth to the car It works fine. Issue is after I turn off Bluetooth I only hear sound from the ear speaker not the back speaker.
Ringing, notifications, everything uses the ear speaker from that point until I shutdown and restart the phone.
I worked fine in the previous icecoldsandwich version but just updated to 8.1.1. This is the only issue I have had so far.
Have you tried to switch rom? on my opinion its the rom issue.
Go back to the ROM that was working. Keep in mind that any custom ROM is going to have a bug, so always remember to have a version that satisfies all your needs.
I used to listen to music with my bluetooth headset.
Everything just works as fine as it should when my phone is still running Android 2.3
After I flashed a 4.1 ROM, I found that:
1. When I am listening to music with my bluetooth headset, the notification sounds played on my speaker.
2. After I disconnected the bluetooth headset, the volume of notification and ringtone become really low. I nearly hear nothing when text and email are arrived.
I have searched with Google for a long time, but I found nothing that can solve my problem.
Do anyone know how I can solve these problems? For example, editing some system file, or installing some app?
Thank you very much.
I seem to be encountering very odd behavior whenever I plug my headphones (Razer Timat 2.2) into my DHD running cfX version cfX_ace-4.2.2-20130213 (using this version as it works with GPS + Autorotate with no problems)
When I connect the audio plug my of Razer Timat 2.2 headphones, at first my device works fine, but after some time it will randomly open up google voice search or start playing music though Apollo music player while I am doing something else entirely.
However when I plug in my Razer moray+ earphones, the device behaves normally without the random apps opening.
This problem seems to keep happening with any headphones/earphones I have that except those with combined audio/microphone jack like my razer Moray+ do.
Has anyone else encountered the same or similar problem and know any workarounds or fixes?
While car bluetooth handsfree is paired, during an active call (outgoing or incoming), audio suddenly self-toggles from car handsfree to the device.
Bluetooth pairing is retained, but really, trying to toggle audio back to the car handsfree is not working.
I am forced to toggle to device speaker or hang up and retry a new call.
Happened to me on my work phone, Sony Arc S (CM10 JB), and on my own HTC Desire HD (ICS ViperDHD 2.3), in different cars.
Any suggestions?:crying:
