There is a lot to take in with WidgetLocker and I love it. However, I recently started using it and I cant seem to figure out one setting. Is it possible to change the tinted area size?
It might not be possible, but I figured if there are sliders to change the tint levels then there should be a setting for size...?
Ummm...anyone?? Did I post in the wrong section??
Settings/look and feel/background tint or layout. Hope it helped

So I was messing with my adw launcher settings and somehow all of my action buttons at the bottom changed to these plain ugly gray colored icons. I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the actual icon of the app shortcut to show up there again like it used too. I remember being able to select the shortcut's icon from several different options? This is probably a dumb/easy question but any help is greatly appreciated!

Hey guys quick question regarding apex launcher. I like setting my grid sizes usually between 5x5-10x10 but it seems with apex launcher anything over 7x7 causes the icons to get cut in half, regardless of having the icon labels hidden or not. quite disappointing.. is there any fixes to this? i searched here and on google, and didn't find anything other than other people bringing up the issue.
I purchased the Pro version hoping it would maybe fix the issue, but it still happens.
updated OP with my question re-worded in hopes of any info.. Thanks again for any help guys!
You need to change the LCD density so the icons are smaller.

that will change a whole hell of alot more than just my icon size though. i dont want everything else to change size. I just want a dang 10x10 grid, why is it EVERY other launcher doesnt have this issue? there has to be something else.
Yeah, i never mess with density, but it would work.
Another idea is to use desktop visualizer since it scales. All the really artsy home screen people use it. Pain to have to set up each icon, but it should work.

Nice, that app is kinda like a more useful simpletext type app.
does no one else have this issue? I cant be the only one who uses apex who likes to have a 10x10 grid.
Hello, all
I'm so love in [ROM] AOKP(Jellybean) 3rd Release! Task & Ktoonsez (10/3) (AT&T/Rogers), but the only thing that bothering me was that the lockscreen is not dimmed at all and it plainly shows the wallpaper.
I won't mind if I don't use the "weather" or "calender" feature showing up on the lock screen, however It is really hard to choose the right font color without the dimmed lockscreen to show the "weather" and "calender" clearly.
So what I wanted to ask was, if there's anyway to dim lockscreen?
Thanks!!
did you try looking into lockscreen settings?

Of course I did.
Oh, sorry about my bad English .. I think I should have asked for 'transparency' not 'dimming'

Okay, so I found the solution.
The problem was I've chosen the custom lockscreen wallpaper.
Once you choose your own lockscreen wallpaper, the lock screen shows the wallpaper itself covered by the 'calendar' and 'weather', if those are enabled.
So I resetted the custom lockscreen wallpaper and now I can see the 'weather' and 'calendar' on the little bit of darker background so that allows me to read more easily.

The greatest weakness to an otherwise nice piece of hardware in my opinion is the OG Pro's blue-tinted display. The display is crisp and everything but there is such an obvious blue tinge when I compare to other phones I have. Does anyone know if there's an app to adjust screen color? There's one app that can allow you to add RGB color to the screen but not adjust. If anyone has any suggestions that would be great. Thanks.
I think you can play with the display settings with trickster mod

Thanks for the suggestion - I've tried it and it doesn't stick or actually make a difference on the screen. I've tried with stock kernel and the modified kernel that's available in the development section.
