App to adjust display color - LG Optimus G Pro

The greatest weakness to an otherwise nice piece of hardware in my opinion is the OG Pro's blue-tinted display. The display is crisp and everything but there is such an obvious blue tinge when I compare to other phones I have. Does anyone know if there's an app to adjust screen color? There's one app that can allow you to add RGB color to the screen but not adjust. If anyone has any suggestions that would be great. Thanks.

I think you can play with the display settings with trickster mod

Thanks for the suggestion - I've tried it and it doesn't stick or actually make a difference on the screen. I've tried with stock kernel and the modified kernel that's available in the development section.

White looks yellowish

Hey guys, I don't know if its me but my screen is weird. My whites are really off in that they look yellowish.
I'm trying to tinker around in color control on franko kernel updater with the blue, red, and green but it hasn't changed the whites. I having touched the gamma things though..
Anyone know how to solve this?

go into gamma and increase blue
You need to adjust the multipliers.
Flash the trinity kernel & admire its beauty.

Nope, the blue gamma doesn't change it. Everything except the whites became a bit more "white" but the white pixels are not as white as before.

+1 for Trinity
Colors look amazing. I was wary at first but from the first boot after flashing the kernel, I fell in love. For me, I have found a significant increase in battery life compared to the stock kernel as well.

Mbh had it, adjust multipliers.
If you remove red+green or increase blue it'll become more white.
Adjust gamma to remove tint in the shadows after that.

I'm tinkering in every what way possible. Now I'm thinking its hardware problem. But I'll keep trying.
BTW, I am running Franco 240 kernel. I was on trinity, and it was better, but Franco increases my performance and battery life significantly.

I have the same yellowish screen, flash Trinity like everyone said and boom, white is white.
I'm using the trinity kernel with the liquid smooth ROM and my screen looks just as good as my coworker's SIII does. It is truly amazing how much better it looks...
Anybody know what the color control setting difference is between the two kernels?

Should only be in the defaults, unless....
Check if Franco includes omap gamma (preset tables) over my Contrast.
No it does not good sir..

Yea they support both omap gamma as well as your contrast settings
I am running liquidsmooth beta1 with Franco 240, the smoothness and battery life is so much better and its not a feeling. I experienced both kernels long enough to know the difference.
So I just need to know how to fix this colour shenanigans. There is just too many possibilities with the options but I haven't stopped trying.

Franco and Trinity, in my experience, both have good color settings out of the box. Franco's colors look a bit more natural to me, as Trinity's are a little "blue" to my eyes. There are a few other threads with users suggesting various color settings. Get Franco (which you already have, aparently) or Trinity and try out some of the combinations suggested. Some are quite good.
Here's one thread on the subject: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1521195
Best of luck
Thanks buddy. I'll try this out and report back.

[Q] How to fix yellow tint ?

My Note II's screen has a yellow tint. Whites are not pure white, but kind of yellowish-orange. :crying:
The thing is though if I tilt my device either way, I can see pure white.
The screen colors are way better on my old Galaxy S2 w/ SAmoled+, and I can further tweak the colors by using a custom kernel with screen tuning support.
Is there anything similar for the Note II ?
Not yet, but you Could try "Filter your screen" App from play store.

Thanks, but none of these apps are good because they simply add a filter on top and also affect blacks.
Guess I'll just wait for custom kernel color tuning support

Is there still no kernel and/or app that can change color profile of the Note II?
The kernel from this thread can do it, here's a link to my post explaining how:

Bright Stock Looking Theme

Guys, I've been looking around and cant seem to find a theme that follows the standard stock android (im using 4.2.2, cm10.1) that is bright or at least lighter. I'm coming from an iphone where the entire UI is bright. I'd like the option to have a brighter UI, for example in the notification drawer when i pull it down, its all black, the settings menu is all black, etc.
Anyone have any tips or suggestions?!!
Thanks!
If you're on cm10 have you checked all the compatible themes in the playstore?

Yes. None of them seem to have that stock UI feel with a brighter interface. Maybe I'm just not searching the right way.

Color settings

I'm hoping for users to post their best adjustments to the screen color with the kernels that allow it (smoocha and evolved)
As far as personally, I notice my screen has a bit of a blue tint so I've been messing with the colors to fix that although I haven't found a sweet spot yet
Using the donate version of trickster mod for the color settings

Faux clock has a bunch of presets for gamma control.

I like the gama 2.2 preset in fauxclock. The white balance seems a tad blue but the contrast/saturation is awesome.
I use the faux 123 pop makes everything sharp imo

Screen mode? Color enhancement?

Hello everyone! I love my N7 for gaming, but the only thing that gets to me once in awhile is the colors look saturated to me. I sometimes will play games on my S5, and disregarding the newer tech; I can make the colors have a higher contrast with samsung's built in Screen Mode.
What I'm wondering is this, is there any way to enhance the contrast or colors in the N7? I know some kernels allow color changing but I can never find an app to take advantage of it the way I'd like.
(P.S: I am in no way comparing my S5 to N7, I am just asking how to improve the colors on my N7.)
Thanks,
Branden.

I use Faux123 Kernel Enhancement Pro with ElementalX kernel. Faux kernel has color/gamma capabilities as well. Basically you need to flash a kernel with color/gamma changing capabilities and use an app that allows you to make changes.
