AWESOME 3M Textured Skin!!!

Just thought I'd share with you guys. I saw a post by John.Smith so I actually ordered one and it looks even better in person. This this fits so well on my Captivate. It seems as though it's precision cut by a CNC Machine. It's almost an exact fit. I haven't seen any better for our phone yet. The texture actually gives it a little more grip so it won't so easily slip out of my hand. And I've bought a ton of skins. The material is extremely high quality. It's really easy to put on! It only took me about 5 minutes and now I have an awesome looking phone!!! I LOVE THIS SKIN!!! You guys should check him out on ebay. It's well worth the money!!!

hmmm...looks pretty decent... think i will buy this, though i am also planning on getting a 3500mah battery + cover.i m guessing this wont fit, right? what a dilemma!!

everything but the back casing that covers the battery would. but if you're anything like me. you can always make it look cool regardless.

Well... if you're thinking about upgrading to one of the extended batteries then one way to make it so that the battery cover looks alright with this decal would be to make one cut and have it be 2 pieces. with the pattern thats on it if you were to just cut along one of the lines and have the gap somewhere toward the bottom or the top it would still look pretty decent. I've actually been thinking about getting an extended battery myself. I might just order one tonight and then do this myself. I will post this pics when i do.

oh. and another way around buyin the extended battery would just be to buy another stock OEM battery. you can pick one up for about $12-13 now. that's what i have. and depending on the rom you're running you can get pretty awesome battery life. I'm running firefly and phoenix roms and i get between 20-35 hours out of a single charge and i never even have to use my spare battery.

Yes same here, I also ordered an extended battery. I just can't be bothered 2 carry an extra battery...too lazy...

ya totally. i think i've only carried my spare once because i went camping. well. if you like speed, stability, and awesome battery life check out the phoenix and firefly roms. you wont need the extended or spare batts.

actually it covers literally most of the phone. its way better fitting than any of the other skins out there so far. I've bought a ton of these and none of them are this high of quality. you would seriously need to feel this thing to believe it. the guy who's making them is giving $5.00 off if you take some pics of them and post them somewhere on the net. so really it doesn't cost much at all.

Does it adds any bulk to the phone? How thick is the skin anyway?

.013 inches thick.... give or take thickness of a pube hair...
its about as "thick" as "thin" construction paper...

Just ordered price drop to 9.99 + 5.00 shipping can't wait i won't have to use a case anymore

Nope. it doesn't add any bulk. it feels really nice with the texture. i love this thing.

Extended battery skins (For clip) or case

Hey guys,
I know a lot of you are looking for this.
I have found a site which has these in stock and is selling. I bought two.

Pretty cheap if you ask me.

They all look pretty poorly cut... maybe if they done better it would be worth it, but looking at all the jagged cuts on those skins... it would be cheaper to just buy one of ebay for less and poorly cut the thing myself.

Those look terrible. I cut mine and it doesn't look that bad.

Would like 2 in white, I had to make my own.... & it' s wearing out after only 1- months heavy use... Also lookin' 4 a 2nd extended battery.... 2 keep ready charged...

I had done my own cut back 15 days ago, photos are outdated but you get the idea. In addition, I had ran a lighter around the freshly cut edges to smooth out the lines. It's better looking in person, that's for sure.

Shrug. I just buy from by buddy. I have 2. He only sells black though.
So far, Ive had mine from his pre-release ones. and its holding up quite well.

yea its basically another spare, but u plug into to. so it bumps the battery up to over 2900 depending on what battery you currently use. and the other reasons this is nice is because its also case, and with the other extended batteries look ugly and have no cases.

I want to get it but I had bought the seido extended battery surface case that blocked the kickstand and didn't like how it sounded and this one blocks it too so let us know if its worth it or how it sounds

It seems that covering up the back case containing the antenna with another battery could result in signal loss. Do they do anything special to avoid this?

seriously only reason i haven't got the active extended case is dew to the fact that it will cover up my speaker. I don't care what anyone says It has to affect it in some manner. And why take away my kickstand ?

not to get to defensive but you can still use the kickstand, it can act as a "stand" for the phone, theres a video for it, its probably a lot nice then with it regular back/extended because at least this is getting a charge while using the kickstand, where as regular charge, not possible without some help from towels etc.

Just look at how much the kickstand itself muffles the speaker. This'll probably make it unhearable in a pocket for notification beeps.

just got mine its pretty sweet, but its also huge. great if you travel or have long work days, but its so big using it for a night partying etc might be a little but to much

Anyone need 4 batteries and Two TPU Fusion cases?

I am getting the Mytouch 4G Slide tomorrow (if UPS delivers on Veteran's Day) and I have
•Two anker "1700 mAh batteries"
•The OEM Battery
•An "3600 mAh battery with the back
•A polished standard battery back
•One clear TPU Fusion case
•One black TPU Fusion case.

Oops forgot:
If someone wants all of this I could do for like $10 or so so I could pay for shipping and buy a case for this mt4gs since I'm getting "khaki" version I will need a black case
Or if you guys just want like one or two we'll talk I don't really need the money and I have no use for these batteries, so just let me know!

What'd you want? I never felt like that 3600 mAh battery was any good so I wouldn't even really give it to anyone unless they just wanted it to toy with or whatever.

Not hard, but they wont come off at all unless you want them too. There great cases.
You kind of put either the bottom or top in first, then you put the corner and the other corner in. Kind of tight because there practically new. The white ones newer.

heres mine, and yes, I know it looks ugly with a screen protector...
need to remove it sometime, but screen is still sticky of it, and without any protection it is a bit risky. and btw, it is really zoomed in, it doesn't look that bad normally

The battery is not the stock one, its also fake. I think the real capacity is 200-500 mah. I was on 50%, took a picture, 20% left. Horrible battery life. Stock battery is awesome though.

I never bought it, i got the sensation and the 2 batteries with it, I still use the "gold" battery as emergency battery. My family are not the kind of people who order stuff from the internet, so no extra batteries for me.

Yeah, true. It's better not to buy 'extra' batterues since all of them are fake. Better battery = bigger size of it
