as title.
The volume rocker by default only adjust the ringer volume and media volume when play music or video.
But the typing sound feedback is loud! I like to have some sort of feedback when I type, it gives a better typing experience. I hate the vibrate feedback, so I choose the sound.
But man... its so loud when you type in a quiet room. I was in a cafe lounge today when I was texting, and I am pretty sure it was drawing a lot of attention, "tick, tick, tick, ting!, tick tick tick tick, TING!..."
So eventually I had to turn it off, I was afraid it might annoy someone.
Any solution?
Good question, i'd like to know it too...

I use an app called Volume Control to show all volume settings (six different sliders in the app). The one you want is called "system" I believe. I used it to increase volume of lock sound
is it free??

Hi.
Just got my dhd and was wondering if there is a way to disable heptic feedback on navigation buttons?
Also how do I remove apps like amazon mp3 soundhound (i have full version already and im stuck with two now).
At the moment I don't want to root but if that's only way of doing it I'll consider it.
PS> sorry search on XDA App is crap and I could not find anything.

Good morning guys, I may have a setting incorrect on my phone but how do I stop my DINC2 from making that clicking sound when I touch the screen or I am typing. I have the vibrate feature on but I also changed something else and now I hear a small click when I touch the screen or type.
Thanks..

I use Sound Manager V2 on the market. It's free.....
Get Quick Settings from the Market for free. Open it, go to Volume Control, tick the check box at the top and then click Set. Back out of the app and never worry about it again.

Hey, I was wondering if there is any way to some how decrease the vibration of this phone when you get a text message. Like with the iPhone you can make it so that there is a silent vibrate when you get a text or you can make it the normal vibrate. The vibrate of this phone is ridiculous, and sometimes i like that and other times i dont so i was wondering it there is some sort of app where i can toggle the vibration intensity.
Settings -> sound -> vibration intensity ?
(Go to home screen and press the menu button to get to settings menu)

That's only for the haptic feedback. It won't work to decrease the messaging vibration..

Double tap the home button to open s-voice, then go to settings of s-voice. Then go to control apps. I believe that is what your looking for.

Edit: control apps, not voice controls in s-voice settings...
You have to have vibrate turned off too, which makes it a no go for me.

Thanks I found it.
Very annoying that text pops up telling you that you can use voice commands within camera, alarm, when a call comes through etc.

I brought this up a while back when the s3 came out.. There has to be a way to modify it to work also when on vibrate.
I keep my phone on vibrate around 80% of the time so I can never use them either.
But I have found out that the voice commands still work on camera even with vibrate on, which leads me to believe it can be enabled on the other commands some how ... I don't know how to program and all that but I would be willing to help in anyway to get it working on vibrate mode
