[Q] Cant flash - EVO 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've been having a rooted Evo for a while now. Lets say 3 months. I was always able to install roms from Rom Manager but recently thats stopped. My phone downloads the rom but when it reboots to install it, it stays on the white "HTC EVO 4G" screen. What can i do guys? I need help.

rooted Phone stuck on " Htc EVO 4G" screen

hey guys i must have flashed something wrong because the phone is now stuck in that screen. I went into recovery and wiped everything. I also hit " clear storage" after booting with the volume up method. whats going on?
it says Build:not set in recovery but I dont have any roms on sd card right now to flash
nvm guys got it to work. toggled usb through recovery.
I think I am having a similar problem. What exactly did you do to fix it?
Happenened to me try flashing a rom what I thought was there was no rom to load so it was stuck on the HTC evo 4g screen
Sent from my soon to be gingerbread evolution 4g
I'm having the same issue. What did you do exactly?

EVO 4g will no longer boot into recovery mode

My EVO 4G will no longer boot into recovery, it just sits at the white HTC EVO 4g screen and never goes anywhere past that. Nothing has changed on my phone except I did get an upgrade for Superuser, it is running version 2.3.5 and the Su binary v 2131230734. This is the only thing that has changed on my phone but for some reason I cannot boot into recovery anymore. I am using clockworkmod 2.5.0.1 recovery and in Rom Manager, doing reboot in Recovery it is staying at the white HTC Evo 4g screen. I have also tried holding the volume down button when powering on the phone and choosing recovery and from there it is doing the same thing. I have tried reflashing clockwordmod in rom manager and still no success. At this point I am not sure which direction to go since I would like to backup my current rom install a different rom since my wifi tether suddenly stopped working. Does anyone have any suggestion on a fix for this? Thank you.
My phone does this every once in a while. A battery pull usually solves it. I don't know man.
Maybe you should try and battery pull for about 30 seconds to a minute, if that doesn't work, I would flash a different recovery and try again.

[Q] Stuck on Boot Logo w/ new CWR

Hey, I was running Liquid Metal, and I wanted to upgrade to RC 2.1
I also recently upgraded to the latest CWR.
So i attempted to flash via ROM Manager, but it wouldnt work, screen would go black with white lines on the side.
I attempted it the old school way, same thing.
So I gave up, and wanted to just reboot my phone, but it was stuck on the HTC Incredible screen.
Any ideas? Thank you,

you can download this file if you are still s = off and make sure to name it PB31IMG place on the root of your sdcard and update through bootloader
i uploaded, it got me to RECOVERY.
but it would be stuck, looped on the ROM's (liquid metal) boot screen.

[Q] DHD: installed new ROM, booting problems!

Hi, ive just followed this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=984045
Ive rooted my Htc desire hd, and installed the new rom, now it wont boot right. When it tried to boot after the rom installation it just comes to "htc quietly brilliant" and goes black and that the htc quietly brilliant screen comes back.
I did choose to backup existing rom before i let the clockwork rom manager install the new one. But now the phone wont get past the loading screen, and i dont know what to do.
I appreciate all help i can get, Thanks!
