No, it doesn't, if you want to use ap2sd, you should convert ext4 to ext3
I just installed Oxygen 2.0.1 and my ext4 partition works.
Yes it does support ext4
it works with ext4 partition, but when I run mount in terminal it shows ext2. Is ext4 features working then?

Hi.
I just installed the new kernel from richardtrip with ext4 support and all that.
Now im wondering, Will all my data from my ext3 partition be removed if i convert from ext3 to ext4 from recovery?
+1 on that
No, you won't loose data but may have trouble updating images with no ext4 support in kernel.
Just tried it and all programs and so on is working like a charm!
Are there any benefits of converting to ext4?
I just want to have the latest stuffs available
Hi all, I just used CW Recovery to make a 1gb extra partition but don't know which version ext it made. Can someone provide me with some code to write in my terminal to line up my sd-card partition. Thanks.

Afaik cwm makes ext2 by default, check with 'mount' from terminal, look for sd-ext and if will say ext2/3/4 next to it.
Thanks man.
It seems that the cvm provided in the [Nightly]CM7 thread made ext4 filesystem, atleast that's what I have but it could be the data2ext mod I flashed that converted the ext2 to ext4, I don't know.
More chance that the data2ext mod formated your partition with ext4
What are the benefits ClockworkMod with ext4 support?
support ext4
all wipe do in ext4 filesystem.
but i think, that ext3 or ext4 on DHD not too serious.
ext4 work better than ext3 only on large servers
i've created partitions using minitool partition as follows
FAT32-6.6gig , EXT-4 1gig , LINUX SWAP 39mb
when i've installed s2e(simple2ext) it didnt show ext partition so did freespace app ,so i've formatted sd-ext via clockwork mod ,now when ive connected my sd-card to pc i am seeing ext2 instead of ext4 & my linux swap is not being used by cyanogen mod nightly
type in terminal su(enter)
free (enter)
swap is being all shown zero's
how to solve these problems , & does cm7 support ext4,what is the correct partition method to get 1gig ext4
Try to change kernel. Default one doesnt support ext4

Yes. You can go from EXT3 to EXT4 any time.
The ROM that you install, should support EXT4.
And for recovery, i would recommend you use 4EXT Recovery. It has options for EXT3 <-> EXT4 conversions.
i hear ext4 has a backward compatibility with ext3, so there shouldn't be any problem switching
