i recently upgraded to a Droid Incredible and decided that i was going to mess with the OS. i'm new to the rooting world and don't really know too much about what i did. i used unREVoked 3. i didn't do a backup before i started to root. is there any websites that have the original operating system on for me to download? is it possible to use my wife's unrooted phone, back it up, and reflash my phone with it?
if any of this is possible i would really appreciate it if you could give me detailed info on how to do it and links to the programs that i will need in order to unroot the phone.

Hi
I was wondering if there was a way to remove some of the bloatware on a non rooted phone. With all of the issues I have read trying to root a 3.30 phone (I have hdwr 003 and software 3.30.651.3) is a pain in the butt and as much as I would like wifi tether I just don't feel comfortable doing it yet.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
There is no way unless you're rooted.
impossible. rooting is not very hard. if you have a mac, i am STILL looking for beta testers for my 3 command full root kit.
Im having issue rooting my phone, for more that I try I'm not able to get root access
Anyone got to root this phone? It would be great. I can't stand this non-rooted!!
Hi folks,
I previously rooted my HOX M8 using a guide from these forums and hasoon2000's tool.
turned out I had to do S-OFF as well and in the last 6 mnths I haven't had time to look into this properly so I'd like to "unroot" the phone again.
Is this possible? Is there a guide here for this? (I did do a search around but I couldn't find anything)
The main reason for wanting to do this is the phone is still under warranty and it has the issue where the keyboard keeps disappearing and wont come back without a restart, so I'd like to return it. Also there is an OTA update pending from way back and it would be nice to do that before attempting returning.
Thanks, N
