A link to the thread would be much appreciated
This has been confirmed to be 2.3.3, not 2.4. If someone can send me proof to the contrary, I'll reopen the thread.

I've heard that to get a ROM that would have Froyo plus SenseUI you'd have to wait until HTC released a version that has those together and it gets rooted. What I don't understand is couldn't a developer find out how to separate the SenseUI from a current ROM and build it into Froyo when it's released to the public?

Possibly but not realistically. Sense is very much integrated into the system. Extremely deeply integrated. Framework files and all. So while it's possible it's not too realistic.

Sorry, I thought the developer forum would be appropriate since its a development type question.

It's more of a common knowledge thing. Google makes the different versions of android then the supplier adds the extra crap.

I made this thread because that one specifically states NIGHTLY in the title, and this isn't a nightly like the rest of the ROMs in that thread.
Create a thread only for a link... facepalm

You should know here is dev ,dun simply put the links only...what is the changelog?can you give a support on it?
If pawitp feels in need of such a thread, he will create it. If not, he won't. Not every worm is allowed to create a dev thread to a ROM he didn't build.

I wasn't trying to offend anybody here, including any of the CM/SGS devs. If I did, I apologise. I just noticed the link posted on get.cm and decided to create a thread to share the news that it was released, seeing as the other thread (judging from its title) seemingly did not apply to this update. I didn't claim anywhere that I had anything to do with the making of this file, as I obviously didn't, and I don't think your calling me a "worm" is in any way necessary or helpful.
EDIT: Also, someone can close this thread, seeing as it didn't fullfill the purpose I made it for.

You *might* post such a topic in the discussion thread. If you don't have something useful in developers' viewpoint, don't post it here, for your safety )

pawitp will not make the thread i guess. There is a particular 'cyanogenMOD' named account from which all RC build threads are made for all devices.
This is really unnecessary. Any fool knows that in the CM9 toppic also indicated when a release comes out. Close this mess!!!!

Thanks. For some reason I was unable to find RC2, even though it was being mentioned in the dev thread. One quick Google brought me here.
Might've been better off posting in General.... this is not dev related.
edit: didn't refresh get.cm, had some old stuff cached It appeared

Is this a statement or a question?
If question, then yes, it's going to be released, eventually.
If statement, then, cool story, bro.
First of all you posted in the wrong section. There is a thread already available in the General section for JB release, So search properly before posting a new thread.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2157735
And post all questions in the Q/A.
I still don't understand how come all the new users miss the Q/A section completely when it is right under the General section !!!
Tired of reporting.

Can't find Paranoid Android main site (like CyanogenMod.org or AOKP.co) where latest versions and builds are listed under "Devices". Do they even have a site??? Please can someone provide me a link to the latest ROM build and GApps. The latest developer forum here had 3.99 as the latest, which i know there has to one higher (like maybe 4.3). Thanks in advance
3.99 is the latest.

PA uses G+ as their main channel of communication. I don't think they have a site.

Thanks for that link bro. I kinda figured it would be, just didn't know for sure and wanted to make sure a higher version wasn't available. Surely they will have OTA updates for 4.xx and up. Thanks again. :good:

I have been using the following ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2525351
It works perfectly, except for Hangouts being upside down.
I'm not allowed to post on the thread, how can I give this feedback?

Well, should I just post trash? I could get banned for that. Yes, I did, I flashed the latest offered there.
Where can I get the latest CyanogenMod Apps?
Hi all, where can I get the latest CyanogenMod Apps, apparently the Hangout App shows video upside down on the front facing camera.

It's showing your camera upside down because of one commit in CM sources for frameworks/av/. The problem is with all omap or opmar4 devices? It should be reverted now, so latest CM nightly should have that fixed. Also this thread should be in the Q&A section, hopefully someone moderator will move this and few other threads to the right sections soon!

I think you don't need 10 posts to start a question and get answered... If you're trying to get to 10 posts and then spam the development thread with your question (which should already have been asked), better not.

No, I don't want to spam, I had one very specific question, I don't like to spam, and I appreciate a lot the hard work of all the developers.

Thanx a lot for the information, I think I'm going to try the latest CM nightly soon. I hope it is at least as stable as this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2525351
