PLEASE, HELP!!!
I HAD:
OXIGEN 2.1.6, AlphaRev Sense HBOOT S-OFF
after attempt to repair the speaker in service center of HTC, my Desire hangs on splash screen. (nothing was repaired, changed etc., but as far as I understand, they tried to flash something)
SO, NOW I HAVE:
Desire of the same phisical condition, but:
If normally to boot - I've seen only splash screen.
If to boot into bootloader - it's started, fastboot working, but option RECOVERY doesn't work - if to choose it, phone goes to reboot and hangs on splash screen again.
I tried to root the phone again, but step2 doesnt work, because "device not found" (although all the drivers are installed and are working normally)
After that 1st step of rooting, the normal boot goes directly to bootloader.
I tried to re-flash Recovery with fastboot-windows, but got the error:
FAILED (remote: siignature verify fail)
So, as far as I understand, phone not dead yet, but I can't call it alive as well.
PLEASE, help!
I do have more or less the same problem!! in my case I take out the battery for some minutes, put it back again and hopefully the phone turns on normally, but as soon as I turn WIFI on or watch a video it turns off by itself and wouldn't reboot again.
I posted a help demand on a topic called CDMA Desire fully flashed to Cricket!! wait for tha answer with me if you want, these guys seem to know what they're talking about and we'll see what to do..

Seems to be a hardware issue. Give htc a ring.
Hi there,
The other day I decided to S-OFF, root, and flash a custom ROM on to my HTC Desire handset. It all seemed to go perfectly well. I could access HBOOT, Fastboot, Recovery (4EXT), and I could boot into the custom ROM. It worked absolutely fine for approximately 24 hours. Then, the phone restarted and I can't get past the splash screen.
I am able to access the Bootloader (HBOOT, Fastboot etc.) but I cannot boot into the ROM or into Recovery.
I followed the instructions (step 2) found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1275632&highlight=can+t+get+past+hboot
I've tried using Method 1 and Method 2. And, although the process appears to be successful (according to Android Flasher's and cmd's response) but I'm still unable to get past the splash screen or access the recovery.
I thought that perhaps it did work fine and that it was just the recovery image I was using so I downloaded the latest Clockwork Mod Recovery image from their website. Unfortunately, this hasn't made any difference.
I used Fastboot to wipe the userdata, system, recovery, and cache but this has still not made a difference.
Does anyone have any ideas or is it busted?
Would flashing a RUU potentially resolve the issue (although, ideally, I don't want to do that and it would be a last resort).
Many thanks in advance.
This problem didn't appeared on its own, did it?
Probably you did something wrong. I suggest you to use RUU and start all over again.
Remember to downgrade your hboot first

Hi paolo,
Well, as I explained, it did all appear to be fine. I didn't do anything else to the phone when it started rebooting. But, clearly, something has gone wrong somewhere.
I've downgraded the HBOOT, and used the RUU. It looks to be sorted now.
Thanks for your help.
Glad that you solved your problem. Cheers
hello
i have a htc one x for 2 years, with bootloader unlocked and root.
was using the original rom.
Yesterday when I was using my phone appeared several error messages and my phone hung up out of nowhere, then reconnected it, and it already goes into automatic mode fastboot, going in recovery and not let me do anything because it always appears the message: mount error sdcard.
Can someone help me solve this problem?
excuse the English, because I'm using google translator

update: new issue: reached to .156* and tried using twrp to apply the superzen.
android goes to recovery and then shows the sleeping android with the red triangle so twrp cant complete its steps to install superzen
i screwed up i unlocked my bootloader and installed twrp that worked fine reboted into android relocked my bootloader (stupid i know now) phone didnt reboot so i ran the fastboot reboot command now system wont boot stuck on the your password was correct but my data is corrupt screen and when i go to rest the phone it wont boot into recovery just a yellow line flashes and the led comes on white im pretty sure my recovery has been deleted and also running anything in fastboot gives some error about my bootloader being locked
fixed it using the mega unbrick guide
future reference before posting research and try to fix yourself and if issues still persist you can ask specific questions. This is xda there is a thread for whatever question you want to ask
