I would first like to say that I love this rom. Its very fast and seems to be stable. However, Im have problems using Metamorph. I followed the instructions exactly from the tutorial. I wanted to use the Riptide statusbar and the carbon fiber lock screen. I put them both in the AndroidThemes folder on the sd root. When I applied the Riptide it worked great but as soon as I applied the carbon lock screen is did not work at all and changed some of the statusbar icons back to original. I dont know if anyone is having this problem so I thought I would share. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hopefully someone can help me. a little background. I love a lot of the icons Riptide uses and the color menus. I also love a lot of the custom ui elements of myns.
In the past i have been able to "combine" the elements by editing the theme and have done a pretty good job doing the new riptide v9 and Myns rom (rls 4). I have everything almost exactly how i want it except for 1 part. This is what i am hoping someone can help with. As a warning i am not a developer just someone who has played around with changing themes etc to get the effect that i want.
In warm 2.2 when you pull down the notification bar you have a switch toggle. For some reason i cant seem to get it to show all the icons when i use riptide. it only shows 4. (see picture below.) I wouldn't mind the icons going back to the original ones in Myns if by changing them would still leave the icons on the notification bar itself as is. Anyone have any ideas on what i can tweak to try to get all of the toggles back on the screen? Is this something i would have to edit the .jars for? (havent had to edited them so far)
as an update i still can not get this working hopefully someone with more theme experience then me will be able to help. I have tried going .png by .png to find the gray boxes that show up. I believe i found them as the myn framework does not have that .png and it looks to be the box however i cant just remove the .png without bootloop. I am guessing i will have to adjust a .xml file or .jar to get this working as well
Alright Guys I do not know if this has been done yet could not find a forum for it. I really want to get the notification tray to be transparent like in Froyo. I am currently Running Gingerbread CM7 RC0
I have changed the correct png file but nothing I do seems to work.
Anybody who has a pre-compiled zip or any info that may help I thank you up front.
I am using Riptide 9's Color 'n Clear theme and I have a transparent notification pull down...
Sorry Let me make an edit. I meant in Gingerbread. I am currently using CM7 RC0.
Anybody know how to do this in Sense 2.1 (running RMK Gingersense right now)? Not looking for anything super special just a simple percentage would be nice, esp if someone has cooked up a simple patch for it.

is it me or is that site down? I been trying to connect all day and it goes to loading page error
It's been up and down. I managed to get through yesterday.
I just want a 6 signal bar mod and BIOS boot screen! D: lol
yeah I went to try UOT before I posted but it's been down for me yesterday and today the times I've tried That's why I was wondering if someone had cooked up one.
I might just try to learn to do it the old school way and rip out the apks
I would like the same thing, no one has themed it yet?
I've been using the "circular battery indicator", it shows %s in the status bar; You can find the .apk for it here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=8639993
No root required, put it in the root of your SD card and install it through Astro or another file manager.
I'm also looking for this mod on RMK's GingerSense. I'd like the stock battery with % though. Hopefully an apk will be made available.

I used the circle one from here:

i tried the circle battery mod and it broke my soft key lights and took away my transparent notification bar. did you have no side effects?
I did, I didn't notice right away, but ny soft lights are intermittent, still looking for a fix, I will post my findings

ChrisDDD posted a mod for gingersense in the dev section. Adds % and removes gps crosshairs from status bar
Sent from my rooted GB ADR6350
I switched to this one after tnez mentioned it, had to reinstall the transparent notifications window, but is working without my soft keys being intermittent, good looking out
found it here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1206358
Thanks to ChrisDDD for creating this battery status, really looks good.
I'm pretty new to the whole root scene, literally rooting my Inc last month when the bugged OTA was rolling out. Managed to root before my phone tried to update, and I couldn't be happier.
Probably tested about 30-40 ROMs in a day, and really was impressed with Nils' roms. They always seem really smooth and lag free. Recently went to the full 3.0 after running the 2.1/3.0 Hybrid.
I tried using UOT to theme the boot animation, fonts, battery icon, overscroll, and normal icons like 3g/reception etc.
The only things that took were the font, battery icon *Gears of War COG is awesome*, and the overscroll to a darker blue.
The 3g/reception bar/etc did not change, nor did the boot animation. Not gonna lie, I loved wildstang83's boot animation, so I stole the zip and replaced it with Nil's standard one in the rom, then flashed the whole rom again.
I notice 3.0 is a little laggy, but I'll deal with it. I'll just pretend it's my OG Droid running Lookout with just a rooted system.
I'm just wondering if anyone has had success theming this ROM? If so, how do I go about changing these icons. Like I said, I tried using UOT with the files straight from the flashable rom, but it only took care of a couple of the items I wanted.
Nils? Any advice? I friggin love your ROMs, they're so stable I'm shocked that it's worked so easily. I'd just like to theme them for myself. If I can't use UOT, I'm willing to learn how to do it without it.
(Yes this is a question and I forgot to click the button? Problem?)

UOT will work for a lot of things as it states but you need to make sure you take the option in the kitchen to create a zip that goes to /data/system.app/ If you don't the files will go in the wrong place and you won't see the change.
For the things UOT does not do you can manually extract the apk's for systemUI, framework-res and com.htc.resources and change the icons directly in them.
Using something like 7zip extract the res folder, change the icons, and drag and drop the res folder back into the apk. The best way is to either create a flashable zip and flash it in recovery or just put it in the install zip to replace the unmodded version.
Good luck
I've published a couple Go Locker themes and recently just noticed something that is driving me insane. I am using a Galaxy Nexus and kanged a couple of their lockscreen's. No problems with those at all. Install fine on every device that I've tried. MDPI, HDPI, XHDPI no problems, all with just a HDPI folder, no other resources. Recently I made a football lockscreen and want to make sure it's available to as many people as possible. This is where the problem lies. It will not work on an XHDPI phone from the market. It installs fine when testing and from using the same apk as i used to upload to the market. But when a person download and installs it then tries to apply it, they get all white preview images and then if you apply it it gives a completely clean screen that looks like its unlocked but is locked only unlocking by the home button or a status bar pulldown action. I've tried for a couple days to figure this one out and am pretty stuck. The apps are not checked for copy protection in the market either. If anyone has any clue what-so-ever it would be greatly appreciated.
(I tried adding a drawable-xhdpi folder too, no bueno)
